@@penguin44cayou see it for seconds but it feels a fleshed out character for some reason. Maybe it’s the subtle expressions and stuff. Makes it seem it’s not just a add on.
The ships and technology look really good in LD. They had a Miranda class ship briefly, and it looked so good. Even the Cerritos looked good in the opening.
They should do the animated series version of Star Trek: Strange New World because Star Trek: Lower Deck is becoming successful so it wouldn't hurt to do another animated series version of Star Trek.
Strange new world already has a live cast and set, why not keep using it. They could make a new series with the same style of animation set in between TOS and TNG era
We obviously need a photorealistic version of the Lower Decks intro now.
And they can do that when Pike’s crew pays an animated visit to the _Cerritos_ in a future _Lower Decks_ crossover episode. THE FANS DEMAND IT!
@@ScottGammans To be honest, that final scene of them being drunk on Orion delaq was funny enough on its own.
Love how they kept the giant sucking monster from Lower Decks’ intro XD
And the Enterprise was strong enough to withstand it too.
I don't know why, but I always wave at him when I see him. I think it's funny

That space slug in this opening cracked me up to no end. 😹
❤ Nacelle
If this episode doesn't win an award there's gonna be a riot
It would have to be in 2024, they already announced the Emmy noms for this cycle.
Specifically a riot in San Francisco. Nothing oddly specific about that of course
nope. It was garbage...sorry .😂
the koala in the end was a nice touch
Do we think the Koala’s power exceeds the Q Continuum?
@@benwasserman8223 hell it probably HEADS the Q Continuum
the Qoala
@@penguinmaster7 Someone get John de Lancie to record a scene of Q cowering before the Koala!
WHY IS HE SMILING??
@Geth7777 WHAT DOES HE KNOW?
A great idea for the main title of THIS episode.
Im sure people have said it before, but the old girl looks absolutly stunning and gorgeous in the LD style.
She does. As fun as the intro was in general... the care they took animating the Enterprise was phenomenal.
By far, my favorite episode of a Star Trek series. This was absolutely brilliantly done!
Okay so now someone combine this one's visuals with the acapella version from episode 9.
I love the space-beastie from "Lower Decks" showing up!
That bug eyed monster gets around, doesn't he?
transcends literal centuries too lol
Imagine not knowing the premise of the episode going in and seeing the animated intro complete with giant engine parasite and Koala.
0:59 The energy-sucking giant bug from Lower Decks lol
In whatever form, what ever style, the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 will always look magnificent.
Davies & Jeffries quite deliberately designed her proportions so that there really is almost no angle that she doesn't look gorgeous from.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! It looks so damned good animated too!!!!!!! I need to get caught up and watch this episode!

This was the greatest episode in the history of episodes of anything ever!
It was a love letter to all fans of Trek past, present, and future without a doubt.

i would want an animated series of the adventures of the titan. They already got a style for it, with its cameo appearances on lower decks...
That is cool as hell :)
Holy koala!
Why is he smiling?
@@xaosflux why wouldn't he be smiling?
Intriguing - if it earns a Emmy ! It'll be the first time that a live action/animated episode does so.
Oh, the Koala.
I liked that episode, but my dad was not a fan of it. He hates anything animated for some reason.
Thats so cool
