Yes! Great video. Communication might help if you are communicating 5 or 10 positive things for every occasion of gently and respectfully pointing out a relationship problem. Some issues are not worth mentioning at all.

Probably not the right video to comment this but it’s the most recent and best chance I have to get a response. So my situation is a bit weird she broke up with me and then you know I didn’t know any better did the classic try to convince her for a couple weeks and it was such a weird situation because she was still telling me she was in love with me I’m the only one for her she needed time. But her actions weren’t reflecting her words and I was hurting bad when I stumbled upon your videos. Your videos changed me from a depressed sack of nothingness to someone who is back in control of their own life. Hanging out with friends eating well, running so much everyday and working out. It gave me control of the situation and insight on why I should be doing no contact. I started no contact and 36 hours later she messaged me asking if I was okay making small talk and then she asked if I was over us (us as in the relationship?) which is such a weird question for the person who did the breaking up to ask. I kept it casual and according to your tips and that was that. I went back to no contact for 6 more days and she randomly texted me last night and then followed it up with a call. She was asking again basic small talk questions about work and how I was and again I matched the energy. She then asked if I had been seeing anyone or if anyone caught my eye, again a weird question to which I replied no I haven’t we just got out of a relationship that would be pretty fast. Call wrapped up and she texted me like ten minutes later, so are you completely over me? To which I reply what makes you say that? And she says I can just tell you are I’m happy for you. Like what? Isn’t that so weird? I replied and just said [name] you know you broke up with me right? You knew how I felt about the situation. You act like with these questions I was the one that did this. You wanted to break up, you wanted me to not talk to you, you wanted me to focus on myself so that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m in control of how I feel. And I left it at that. I’m in a really good place right now it’s just so weird and would love to know what you think

I wish my husband would listen to your advice. He left our marriage to get a motorcycle, tattoo his entire body and spend time with his friends playing baseball and drinking. I was never a perfect wife, but I tried everything I could think of to make him feel loved until I realized I would never be enough. Our kids still wonder how much money we would have to have to make him happy.

After breaking up , started no contact and ngl i begged a bit but eventually gave her the break up. She wanted to stay friends (we were friends before relationship) but i politely refused the offer. After 5 days she called me , and I didn't pickup, just replied casually, she asked "how am I holding up?" i said "not bad trying my best". 1 month has passed but didn't hear anything from her. Am I doing it right or is there any mistake?

I've been doing no contact for 2 months (except for 1-1 conversation here and there about our shared dog). There were no issues (she just lost feelings) and we were together for 5 years. She keeps telling people that although she misses me sometimes, she is very sure about the breakup. Should I give up?

Hey coach, unrelated to marriage, but I saw my ex last Friday during no contact, I said hi and she said hi and we had a decent short conversation. She didn’t say she missed me all she said was “sorry for not texting you” so I’m pretty sure no contact isn’t necessarily working yet. I said “we’re good” and left with my head held high. I haven’t spoken or reached out since. Did I do the right thing?

I love you videos. They help me a lot. But I’m unsure about some of your advice. I’m only 18 , and I have had a girlfriend for 1 year ish. And about 3-4 month’s ago I dictate I need kind of a break. But my girlfriend didn’t understand and didn’t accept it in some way. so it, end whit me kinda cutting contact, didn’t respond so fast, and kinda kold when I did. I know she was really hurt because, before that, we was together every day,( she is a kinda person huh can’t really be alone. Always kinda need to have some people around her, and before, that was me) and I thin she was kinda obsessed whit me (I think she loved me more then I her). And after a little over a month in to the break. She broke up whit me. And I really want her back, because doing that break I realize how much I loved her and how we could fix ure “toxic traets “ and make ure relationship I mature and better then berfor. But now it’s like she don’t even wanna hear from me. And we are kinda work realatet. So sometimes I need to se her. I have been wanting to write to you and book a call. Because I feel like my situation is kinda special. And I really don’t know If no contact at all, is the right t way to do this. But I really brok and really busy. And it wold mean the world to me if you could write back to me❤

Hey coach, have you ever heard of the term "comfort ex"? My girlfriend dumped me, got into a new relationship but still contact me once every 2-3 weeks to talk about her education, career and her life. We had almost 7 years old relationship together, so I found that I am the "comfort ex", because I know everything about her, we were so intimate for a long period of time, you can say we grew up together as well (15yo - 21yo). It's been 4 months post break up, she's been with the new guy since day 1 and keep checking on me every a few weeks. What do you think about my situation? If you can please recommend me some videos that is related to this, I don't know how I should talk to her. Thank you coach.

Could you speak about what other coaches say, that if your ex works on his problems with commitment etc and wants to be in a relatioship again, he won’t go back to an ex who seen him at his weak and vulnerable state, but will go to impress a new woman?
That’s currently my concern, because my ex in our break up talks is saying all the things that should give me hope for making it work with no contact - that he doesn’t want to lose me completely from his life, that he won’t say he’s lost all feelings for me etc, but he doesn’t want to be as commited as i do now. But i’m scared he’s just gonna work on himself and then go and bless someone new with all these improvements 😆

He keeps blocking me, and then blaming me for not chasing him. As I go into nc when he does this. This time he blocked and said to communicate through his family. I don’t know what to do, I tried to save the marriage but I can’t move past how he treated me, I want him to change but he just blames me for everything. Our conversations always end up in viscous circle. Do I just stay in nc? His family is getting inpatient as well as they expected every thing to be sorted quickly and then I get even more blame thrown my way.
