5:10 I noticed you have that auto sence alarm that tells you when it needs greasing. That's an awesome high tech feature. We have that on all our equipment.
I live in southern Indiana and we the smoke bad here too. I have watched your channel for a long time now. One thing I have learned is that the technology in farming now is amazing.
I, for one, am thrilled to finally see you guys get an efficient spray tender trailer and new sprayer. It’s all stupid expensive these days, but the efficiency they bring cannot be ignored.
Zach I'm so impressed with your knowledge and ability to operate all the different machinery, some computerized, some manual, pumps, air tools, ect... Hey nice new race car Onyx has now. Can't wait to watch him run 👍
Delta T is the difference between the dry bulb temp and the wet bulb temp, basically it shows how much evaporation is going on. I farm in Eastern Washington State where it gets very hot and dry. My spraying program lives and die by what the Delta T is. A Delta T above 14.4 is when things start to get less than ideal and anything above 18 I'm shutting down for the day. This is assuming Fahrenheit.
Yep. You got it. Low delta T means droplets are more stable when they leave the nozzle. High delta T means droplets can destabilize. We use it all the time as a go/no-go measure for spraying, especially for expensive applications like pesticides.
Delta is the scientific designation for variable. In the engineering world, we use it to designate change. For example, the Greek letter Delta is placed on a drawing to show a change from the original. Therefore, Delta "T" is the designation for a change in temperature. Example: measure the temperature of a piece of steel. Put a torch to it and measure again. The difference is Delta "T". The difference between dry bulb temp and wet bulb temp is not linear, it is a differential. The wet bulb temp is the lowest temp that can be reached under current ambient conditions by evaporation. The process you are describing is commonly known as dry/wet bulb differential. The term Delta T is a general term that is not descriptive enough for this process.......just sayin!!!!!!
I remember the day when all that smoke appeared. I was in Williston, North Dakota. I thought something was burning nearby. Driving east it just got worse. By the end of the day my truck cab had a smoky smell and my clothes too.
Mechanized farming really make a big difference, and I see how you run your farm is well organized, in our country majority of our farm are done manually, that’s why we have a problem in our food production efforts.
Out of all of the farm tubers wit. The new spray trailers I have to say yours seems the nicest. Everyone else seems to have over complicated mixers and computers. I like the fill and dump method of the dash trailers
When you mentioned about the peace and quiet, this reminds me when I went walking out in some fields and filming and I said how lovely and quiet it was out there and seconds later somebody drove past me and hoking his car horn that sounded the same as the General Lee's. Then I said, "That noisy muppet git."
That was grins.. Great show of teamwork. From what I've seen, most farms could not function as well without that junk pile. Lots of repairs come from there. Good luck racing. You guys run fast but run safe.
Here in Michigan we're getting fire smoke coming out of eastern Canada the past couple weeks. I gave up smoking 35 years ago and now get my pack a day from Canada.
If the smoke is thick and persists for a number of weeks I expect you will find it delays your crop maturity as it did for us in northern Alberta a few years ago. It made 10 days difference I would say and we are in an area of much longer daylength in the summer.
I feel you with the air quality. Here in the Milwaukee area it's quite bad and being outside is just terrible right now which kinda sucks since it forces us inside even though it's finally cooler out (though more humid here)!
You should look into agriculture drones, i think they require a license to operate but you'll save quite a bit on fuel and maintenance of your sprayer. Plus no flattened crops. I think DJI agras T40 is about 20k and can do 20 hectares an hour
you haven't been putting out alot of videos latey , you been doing alot of stuff on the other channel but no videos of it . we put you over a million subs, and the videos slowed down to like one every week or two. that's not right. love the videos on both channels , need more even if you think they are boring we still like them.
Absolutely love your videos, I drive a HGV (heavy goods vehicle) here in the UK and reversing is (in my opinion) an art form, fair play to you for doing that in 1 go👌 I’ve been meaning to send pictures to you of something I saw on the M6 motorway in Staffordshire England (my home county) 2 tractors on the back of a flatbed HGV a Minneapolis moline U302 and a champion 306. I was so happy when I saw the moline👌 love your channel and wish I could spend a week doing what you do.
being british, hearing you say roof like "ruff" is hilarious. love the accent and so glad I found your channel. I actually work for a company in the UK, the only company that recycles agriculture/farm waste, we're actually based on a farm in the UK that is owned by the MOD. I see all kinds of cool farming machinery, makes me want to be a farmer so bad. I only get to drive telehandlers :(
you need to look into the best addon you can put on that sprayer... a front fill kit. that way you don't have to pull the sprayer so far into the ditch. i couldn't fill my 412r without it, with our ditches and driveways being either too deep or too steep to get close and level with the machine
When you were putting the new chemical on the trailer and the noise coming from the skidder, in my head all I was thinking was " Hey....you alright, you ok?"
@MillennialFarmer: I don't know if there is something stuck on your camera lens or if something is failing in your camera, but there is a little black spot floating around on the left hand side of the video.
Being able to drive a trailer backwards must be a natural talent kinda thing, because my granddad had 60 years to train and he's still worse at it than my little brother, who doesn't even have his license yet.
Yea kinda is. I'm a truck driver and know guys who have driven for 20 years who can't back and know some who started a few years ago who can out it wherever you want. Has alot to do with depth perception
Before i was allowed to drive on real roads, my dad made me back a horse trailer in figure 8s both directions around 2 fenceposts in a bumpy gopher infested field until I got it perfect. It was an old dodge that liked to stall and had a really grabby clutch. If you can do that you can drive anything. I dont pull many trailers nowadays however i parallel park one shot in like 3 seconds. Scares people but I am perfect every time.
I can back a 2 wheel trailer with the best of em. But I can not back a 4 wheel wagon !! I'm 58 and just can't get my brain around it. I have to use my skid loader to do it into barns etc.
Been backing up super “B’s” into shops etc. etc. have watched many many guys that can’t get it from the mirrors or looking behind through the window. I think it’s a cognitive thing in the brain….like shooting a gun..my kid has sharp shooters aim and i can’t seem to hit the broad side of the barn…but I can back anything up and place it where you want it first time every time…he still doesn’t have a driver’s licence at 30…
Hey zach Was just writing to say you better grease the skidsteer as it was squeaking and you mentioned it may need greasing on video lol Very nice spraying out fit All this new intelligent way off farming must save you loads off time but i do wonder how many years machines will last
Hi brother, love your vids, one thing i noticed is that sad scream for grease on the skidsteer. Ouch, it definitely needs a touch of grease on it.. 😂😅😊
A big hello from a small town Thurles in Ireland 🇮🇪
I thought I was the only Irish person here 😂
Sshh we're all here👀👀

What part you lot from
I'll tell farmer Phil on yea
OMG grease the skid steer. Lol
Hey so I shot a Alexandria shooting park for the 3rd time and I would just kikr to say thank you Zach and everyone who help out that on
5:10 I noticed you have that auto sence alarm that tells you when it needs greasing. That's an awesome high tech feature. We have that on all our equipment.
🤣🤣🤣
It’s very green. No extra wires, sensors, lights.
Yeah that right he is a blessing but can I know you more maybe we move from here to facebook or Instagram
Looks like a good application for See and Spray! Love the videos, thanks for sharing.
I live in southern Indiana and we the smoke bad here too. I have watched your channel for a long time now. One thing I have learned is that the technology in farming now is amazing.
Read my mind took the words out of my mouth about the grease on skid steer!! Enjoy watching brings back memories!!
Looks like a smooth operation with the new tanker and new sprayer. Nice!
It's been awesome
More videos and longer ones too please love your content
The ol skid steer needed some grease in this vid! lol
I, for one, am thrilled to finally see you guys get an efficient spray tender trailer and new sprayer. It’s all stupid expensive these days, but the efficiency they bring cannot be ignored.
Hello how are you doing I agree with you he needs to be appreciated
Hey thank you for the love of our kiddos, and the exciting stuff you do with the trap shoot clubs. My niece had a literally"blast"
Awesome!
I was actually up just north of you Shelvin Monday delivering crane mats to the pipeline, and was nuts how heavy that smoke was. Be safe out in that.
Zach I'm so impressed with your knowledge and ability to operate all the different machinery, some computerized, some manual, pumps, air tools, ect... Hey nice new race car Onyx has now. Can't wait to watch him run 👍
The first ever Deere I drove was my grandpas 420
Once again thank you for sharing your life with us. Totally awesome as usual. J.Au-en

For this application yes.
In HVAC work is the difference between the temperature of the air going out of the system and the return air

LOVE THE SPRAY TRAILER I WISH WE HAD THAT BACK IN THE CO-OP DAYS
I remember the day when all that smoke appeared. I was in Williston, North Dakota. I thought something was burning nearby. Driving east it just got worse. By the end of the day my truck cab had a smoky smell and my clothes too.

Awesome video, glad to see things going smooth for you. 🚜🚜🚜
@MrJohnsonZach.. sorry Zach doesn't reply to messages like this. We don't need your scam
Bel video. Molto bello e molto bravo. Bei mezzi. Bel lavoro. 👍👍👋👋💪💪🚜🇮🇹🔝
The weather seems to be fighting us everywhere.

Smoke yeah, Goshen, Indiana. (N.G)
Also a big hello 👋👋from the Village (Ede) in The Netherlands 🇳🇱
That new trialer is awesome definitely worth every penny
I love how I’m cleaning the little metal screens that go in the nozzles on the sprayer while I’m watching this😂😂😂
That's how our skys are looking today down here in Northwest Indiana.
That black spot on the left side drives me nuts!! Ok I'm over it
I think the skid steer needs some grease there bub
My dad's sprayer is a 612r with 120 foot boom and a 1200 gallon tank and he can run the who field
That was grins.. Great show of teamwork. From what I've seen, most farms could not function as well without that junk pile. Lots of repairs come from there. Good luck racing. You guys run fast but run safe.
All the green in the field looks awesome😎
Great video
Cheers Zach ,Becky ,Zachs Dad and Jim
That trailer is nice.
Here in Michigan we're getting fire smoke coming out of eastern Canada the past couple weeks. I gave up smoking 35 years ago and now get my pack a day from Canada.
Hello again from North Florida. We had a bad spell with wildfire smoke several years back. Almost everyone had breathing issues.
New Sprayer really covers a lot of ground fast!
Impressive setup, to be efficient you got to have the trailer to keep the sprayer going.
If the smoke is thick and persists for a number of weeks I expect you will find it delays your crop maturity as it did for us in northern Alberta a few years ago. It made 10 days difference I would say and we are in an area of much longer daylength in the summer.
THANK YOU.... GREAT STUFF
LOVE THE DESIGN AND FORMAT OF THE CHEM TRAILER.....
I'm in New Jersey, and we have been dealing with the same smoke. I also race horses, and it's been really hard on them.
8:44 I suspect this delta T info could be useful when thinking about thermal inversion layers and spray drift.
I didn't know your skidsteer had a grease alarm 😂
Looks like here last year in British Columbia, Canada . That smoke hits different
Bringing the water trailer to the field seems like a game changer
I hope you get rain soon. Also I have not seen any updates on between the rows in a long time?
We are covered in Canadian smoke too.. and we are in EUROPE!!
I’m in Ky and we got a warning yesterday on 6/27 that it will be affecting our area now for a few day.
I love your videos, thanks for sharing
Yeah we have a lot of smoke here in northern Illinois but love the sprayer man looks good
That last shot of the sprayer really shows off some of your hills. It's hard to gauge them when you are in the tractors with the camera
I feel you with the air quality. Here in the Milwaukee area it's quite bad and being outside is just terrible right now which kinda sucks since it forces us inside even though it's finally cooler out (though more humid here)!
The liberals won’t let the firemen take care of the under brush so this wouldn’t happen
we had the Canadian smoke show here in SW lower Michigan today just as bad, feel bad for those folks
You should look into agriculture drones, i think they require a license to operate but you'll save quite a bit on fuel and maintenance of your sprayer. Plus no flattened crops. I think DJI agras T40 is about 20k and can do 20 hectares an hour
Was so about to mention greasing the skid steer. You are so on the ball mate.
@cityguyinthecountry he's winging it bro.. fame and fortune hangs the belly... 🤣
It can't be good up in Canada. They say we're going to se the smoke ower here in Sweden today or tomorrow. You all be in ower prayers!🙏🙏
Nice green machines!

Boy is that sprayer nice
T was thick here today also no sun at all here in Michigan
Your sky's look like what we've got here in Michigan.
Smoke here in Eastern Wisconsin is awful as well, everything smells like smoke and low visibility. New rigs look to be doing great for you.
Glad you mentioned that squeaky front end loader. Nails on a board ouch. 😣
Great work zach

Good video Zach looking forward to your next one already!!
Least its not a hay wagon you had to back up. That spray trailer setup sure makes quick work of mixing and loading the sprayer
When you were putting the new chemical on the trailer and the noise coming from the skidder, in my head all I was thinking was " Hey....you alright, you ok?"
Ye same, but do you need a doctor
🤣🤣🤣
We have fendt sprayer and our corn is full tassel 6 or 7 feet tall and our sprayer clears it all of the way
That new trailer sure is nice
Looking forward to some racing... Good stuff

Nice looking unit, she might have said that too
You should put a picture of Cat Dog on a coffee mug. With Cat Dog written under the picture. Let me know if you think it's a good idea.
I would buy it! One for each farm critter too 😛
That would make great Christmas gifts for us cat lovers!!
We finally started getting smoked in, here in Northern California. We somehow made it halfway through summer before it happened.
If you’re going to build yourself a trophy, make sure you build enough for everyone.
Dad's sprayer consisted of two 55-gallon berrols mounted on two wheel cart and 16 foot booms. Very slow
Do you recall the first sprayers that looked like a jet plane ready to take off? They would skim along spraying but they just did not take off. 😊
New spray trailer is awesome! Larson Farms got a new trailer but not a Phiber Dash. Think would've liked it.
Great video!
Hey zach
