Awesome to see another Canadian small equipment manufacturer highlighted on Millennial Farmer! Awesome to be able to come and go across our 49th parallel border so easily!
You know it’s built in Canada bc of the hockey puck door rollers. I love footage of Tony Fast’s DASH trailer in party mode in the field when it’s pitch black out.
That radar you drove past is actually pretty neat! It's the old Stanley R. Mickelsen Safeguard Complex. It was the only part of Safeguard ever built, and it was an early anti ballistic missile system. Place even has an underground, armored power plant.
I want to tell everyone to be extra careful around moldy corn. I did this same thing earlier this year and got a terrible case of Esinophilic Pneumonia. Antibiotics won’t touch it and took a CT scan and a trip to the pulmonologist to get it figured out. Wished I would have made the long trip back down to get a mask.
THANK YOU, I've over come a serrious addiction myself and come January ill be 4 years clean and sober of that. After working this spring at the Co-op in Alvinston Ontario Canada has given me even more hope that Im doing something positive for the world and not dwelling and killing myself in the meantime. I did it too and have been more free since I did. More time to just have fun and enjoy life. I'm never looking back. The 80's almost killed me. Stay strong and focus on your new life brother. You will see things a lot more clearer every day. I can say I enjoy life a lot more now than before.
Congratulations, Cody! That is not an easy task to accomplish - four years is great. My step-dad had 34 yrs sober when he passed. Wishing you 30+ more years of sobriety. Well done, Sir.

That pyramid in North Dakota is not a missile silo. That is basically the only anti-ballistic missile battery ever built by the United States and it ran for a sum total of one day before being decommissioned. That site is now owned by a hutterite colony.

Nice additions/upgrades to the farm. 👏👏 …I’ll look forward to riding along via TH-cam as usual…just like my ancestors used to do when your ancestors were making the videos.
Pretty cool seeing seeing that Behnke Trailer in action. I work for the company that builds those trailers for Phiber. I used to weld the main beans for them. They are located in Farley Iowa!!
WOW, in and out of the country with NO hassle!! That's good. That trailer should make a BIG difference in spraying now. That and the new sprayer will get spraying done in an hour or two, (YEAH right) That is one heck of a lot of learning there Zack!! Gonna be real interesting. Thanks for taking us all along. Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Wow. Lots on this video. You new spray trailer is super nice. Has a lot of great features. Like that it cleans the containers as it uses them. Lots of hi tech accessories on this trailer. On your ride home you mentioned seeing a missle silo. That is in fact part of our border radar system. Not a silo system but above ground radar. Watched the border for us. Am prior Air Force and have visited there before Zach. Neat system. Technology has passed it by now this day and age. Pretty old system. Love your new Deere sprayer. Really a super unit with all the accessories you and dad put on it. Really high tech unit. You are setting great with the new sprayer and trailer. Very nice Zach and Dad. Wow. Super system. Thanks for showing us what you did. Once you have time give us a rundown on the new trailer and sprayer. Would appreciate that. You went into the grain bin and walked around. Did not see any safety equipment. Do not quite understand. Why would you not have safety equipment on????? Just seemed not safe to me. I might not be understanding the situation. About it for now. Thanks for everything Zach and crew. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
The PWMS on the sprayer nozzles is the way to go. It is so cool how they adjust on the go. I think you are going to like how efficient and effective they are.
Congrats on the new equipment. Nothing is cheap these days. Sucks that you have to keep spending enormous amounts of money in order to keep things flowing as well as you do. It's awesome seeing you working along side your dad and kids when they are involved. Awesome video. 🚜🚜🚜
The farm I work part time on is buying a used 24 row strip till tool from a farm roughly 8 miles from your farm. The conversation came up because your neighbor asked if my buddy had been on "Big Tractor Power and he said they had been on there several times and your neighbor farm said that the MF was about 8 miles away. My buddy did buy the strp till tool and now they got to figure out how to ship it to western Kentucky from what he told me, it is huge, very tall.
Get UV Blacklight blue lights for the sprayer boom, and add Ultraviolet dye to the sprayer to see the spray pattern better. And it should look fantastic... 😊
Hope you enjoyed the trip to Crystal City to get your Dash trailer. Thats the area I grew up in. Too bad you couldn't of been up here when the canola crops are in bloom.
The Pyramid was part of the "Stanley R. Mickelsen Safeguard Complex". It was closed almost immediately after being completed back in the 1970s. The pyramid was actually the Radar component (the circular part is where the face of the radar would have been) rather than a missile silo.
I am really enjoying your video's. Being a non-farmer I am really fasinated with what all goes on in the business. I would love to just observe first hand a day to 20 in the life. Keep up the awesome content!
Congratulations on the new truck as you will love your GMC Duramax. As you I was a long time ford truck owner and was having trouble finding a F250. And saw a used GMC HD 2500 on the sales lot. Bought it and have never looked back. I assume you will go with a 5th trailer and you will love it as well . Good luck and always enjoy your videos.
Thats awesome about the donations, alot of people don't get help because they think it's out of reach because of many things but cost is one of them, I know I've been there! Everyone deserves help but very few want it, you are loved and deserve to live life even if you think you don't! God bless!!!
Sounds like that sprayer is basically a really big repurposed electronic fuel injection system. Now, you said that the nozzles had lighting. If each nozzle had a light, and the lights could be strobed in sync with the nozzle pulses, it would freeze frame the spray pattern. That would be really cool at night.
On your spray rig I don’t remember who it was but they added a coloring to their mix And it looks really cool Lemon colored spray very cool, looking and very easy to see at night and even fluoresces
I was up in the Bakken in 2014/15. It wasn’t uncommon to see military guys working around those silos.
