  • I’m not usually big on just doing difficult 4x4 trails for no reason other than to just do them but sometimes I think it's necessary. I'm a huge believer in finding out the capabilities of your vehicle and knowing how to drive them well. What’s the point in owning a capable 4x4 if you never test it out?! That's essentially what this video is allll about.
    I’ve taken the Ranger on quite a few trails already but this may be the toughest trail to date. Barbour Fork is a great one to test out your vehicle’s capabilities and it’s also conveniently located about 20-30 miles from Denver. I’ve ran this trail before in my FJ so I had an idea of what to expect but I’ve never done The Climb section of the trail. This one is rated hard/difficult on trailsoffroad.com which is my main source of truth when it comes to learning about a trail I plan to tackle. On this day my friend Steve, fellow Tremor owner and adventure pal, head up and set out for a great day putting the trucks through their paces! Body armor, side steps, and hitches were harmed in the making of this video.

    mine has a build date of 12/13 I cant wait. 1st thing I am adding is a front facing camera (Wireless Backup Camera for Trucks HD 1080P LeeKooLuu F08) and wire that to one of the switches so I can turn it off and on, some ditch light and possibility some under boy lights . It looks really cool to see what they can do.

      I have a 2019 ranger and I’m wanting to get a front facing camera I’ve been thinking the ford emblem on the tailgate is the same size as the one in the grill wondering how hard it would be to wire it up into the radio

    Going probably get rid of my dog of a 2023 Tacoma trd off road truck. That A/T 6 speed transmission hunts for gears too frequently driving around on hilly terrain in northeast Tennessee.
    Thinking about trading it in on a 2023 ranger xkt tremor off toadmodel truck. I can buy one for about 44,800.00 using my estes express lines x-plan discount buying program with Ford corporation. Might aswell go test drive a ranger fx4 model or just go all out and buy one of these tremor model trucks. Found a regional dealer that has already put a tonneau hard cover and a bed rack on a tremor for 50,400.00. But hopefully can get about 2 grand off that price. So if that Ford dealer will give me 2 to 39 grand for my Tacoma I will go ahead and buy that new 2022 ranger tremor truck.
    Then go buy some more aggressive tires for the new truck.
    We have lots ononxmap trails in the Appalachian mountains ti go riding on is northeast Tennessee/ western nc/ far southwestern regions of va and over in western nc and in eastern ky. It is good living in northeast Tennessee near the bristol nascar track. Lots of cool places to go overlanding and camp out in the cherokee, pisgha and smokey mountains or Nantahala.
    If you do not mind potentially running onto a bigfoot or dogman you can ride all over Daniel Boone national forest in eastern ky or go riding up by bluefield, wv and into mingo and pocahontas counties in Southern wv.

    Good stuff , love seeing rangers in action. Question thou, did yall air down? That may jabe provided alittle more traction? Some don't just for the sheer fact they have no way of airing back up which is understandable. Cheers.

    • @GetBusyLivin
      @GetBusyLivin  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      good question. Didn't air down but did have the stuff for it. We were kind of rushing it and it was a shorter trail. To be honest, I usually only air down for longer extended trails. It makes a huge difference but the time and energy spent doing it vs the payoff isn't always there for me personally haha. You're right though, airing down def helps
