Great video, very solid advise. 1500: Very close to how I level up my Orcs, they are my main team. I tend to put more MB and less guard on biguns, and will put guard on a line orc first for the assists. The extra removal is worth it because it can be hard to grind SPP on biguns. Lets you spread out the biguns too. 1750: Frenzy as a third skill on two biguns is to much fun to pass up.

Great explanation for this type of build. But personally, I find this approach too one dimensional. Your opponent knows what your team will do as there's no variation. It's still a challenge as it is so tough. But I'm in the minority of orc players that prefer playing with 2 Throwers & Goblins as catchers alongside the Orc punching power. It offers more flexibility. Plays in a much more freewheeling style and less predictable grind. It can grind, but also pull off cheeky throws to change the play direction when your opponent has to commit bodies to face the Big Un & Blitzer punchers.

I agree, though with animosity this style has gotten harder. I don't like leaning into it very hard, but just having the ability to plausibly pull off a short pass forces your opponent to either defend against it, which can open holes to run through, or ignore it, which lets you have an out if your grind starts to stall.

@@forzafiori9363 yes, animosity has added an extra wrinkle to the risk management side of the Orc game it's true. But for the reasons you've mentioned, just the threat of the short pass creates gaps or opportunities that rarely exist in a pure grind list.

Bleh. Useless for those of us who didn't buy /2/ Orc boxes.

Can't make a good orc team out of one box. You can convert lineorcs into blitzers, go third party, print your own, buy forge world, etc..... Lots of options.

Used to be nice when you could get a couple of players in a blister pack. That time has long gone though.

@@MEchanicAL_LSTAR Yep, still have a few of those blister packs...No Forge World necessary.
