    AC was one of the last features to get working on my swap and had to eventually use a standalone engine ECU to manage the AC. Found that there are many safety conditions using some sort of OE 'multi signal' in the original LS400 dash that my 1uz came out of that we couldn't safely mimic. Am loving your videos! Rolling through many of them and remembering when me and a mate struggled and triumphed through the project some years back :D

    The alternator - the battery connected small wire is the sense wire that sees the voltage of the battery and regulates based on that.
    The wire to the “gauge” fuse is the turn on signal for the regulator system.
    The final wire to the ecu then tells the dash via the mpx system to turn the alternator light on/off

    It's coming along nicely! Hoping everything goes smoothly in the last 10%. Everyone knows on swaps, something always goes wrong lol

      Haha thank you! There was a slight hiccup you'll see in the next video 😆

      Fully expect it too lol Putting engines into cars that weren't intended to have that will inevitably have hiccups. I'm hoping that trans mount will be enough though... Only halfway bolted.

      @@tinystar3010 I will find a way to secure it better, but its not a priority at the moment

    would I be able to pair a w55 to the 1uz without messing with the shifter rods?

    Thanks for the great content. That doesn't look like the stock IS300 driveshaft. Is it custom made, from a swap kit, or one from a different car? Apologies if you mentioned it at some point, I didn't catch it if you did.

    • @PoorManMods
      @PoorManMods  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Gediminas84 there shouldn't be any interference with the intake manifold and steering shaft 🤔 I had header cleanance issues which made me relocate the steering rack 1.25 inches towards the driver side
