I subbed, good work on the install. You NEED to pulley down and run an intercooler the power/tq difference is massive. Also I hope you plan on removing stock fan/radiator/water pump. Heat is the worst enemy of m50 motors due to poor cooling. Just some food for thought. Also a z3 diff and e39 m5 clutch would make a world of diff.
Joe Nelson no intercooler I don’t think Vf offers tune for intercooler, would be nice to have one I believe it can be don but requires different pulley for more boost, maybe next project, I purchased a piggyback may consider installing it so I can custom tune and add an intercooler, but first I want to put 1000 miles on this kit and do a review soon.
Hey! i am supercharging a M52tub25 now with a MS42. Was there any problems tuning and flashing the Orignal ECU ? I have a Eaton M62 supercharger smaller pulley and a bigger Pulley on the engine. 870CC injectors and i was wondering are you still running the MS42 or Standalone and what changes did you do Cheers from Iceland hope you see this :D
I’m running the VF engineering tune just a straight flash no problems, but I believe this is just a copy and paste tune, probably very conservative, car runs great but I wouldn’t rather get a dyno tune to maximize the gains
So about 3 years ago I had done a full refresh on all gaskets and hoses on the engine when I pulled it out to do the wire tuck and engine shave, so best tip I can give is make sure everything on the intake side is new so you don't have any boost leaks, that has really been the only issue I had was boost leak and make sure you have a good cooling system these cars run hot as it is. You should have better luck with your set up since you have a 3.0 which has bigger MAF.
Invictus Gaming 328i new comes with 192 bhp, VF graph says 115 hp gains, so all in all do the math, but my engine is not new and I feel it’s more like 250 or more, but also my car has been leaning out but I feel fuel pump, it has never been changed for the 12 years I’ve had it, I have a new fuel pump and video coming, and some extra ponies, stay tuned for a dyno run.✌️
Blake Sinclair this kit new is like $4500 I got it for $3000 with plumbing, injectors and tune but it was for an e36 and I have e46 so still hand to get injectors, tune and make piping, almost would of been better to get it new but in then end my pipes look dope and I can slap it on one of my e36 if I changed my mind. No issues so far except I’m running really lean but I believe it’s the fuel pump video coming next with a review of the supercharger

No intercooler. I believe to run an intercooler you need to change the pulley size to produce more boost, I believe by adding the intercooler you loose a bit of pressure so you have to run a more boost, so a different pulley, I have had no overheating issues at all

How bas reliability been over the last year. Anything major go wrong? How many miles are on the kit? I really want to do thus to my 330ci
So far car has not failed, nothing major I just had boost leaks from manifold hoses and the old used chinese hks blow off valve failed

The car will drive on factory stock tune, just don’t push it
