@vaginacoach is there a point where these won't heal the prolapse? Mine is pretty severe. I had surgery about 15 years ago and had a sling put in and it's failed. I've had nothing but bladder issues ever since . There is significant protrusion. So I'm worried that surgery is the only answer.
Thank you for your help. On the wall exercise, I feel the work in my legs, anterior calves especially. Is there some place I could be feeling it in my pelvic floor or hips? Thanks again.
Hi Kim.... thank you for posting these helpful exercises. I'm five months out of a hysterectomy/oophorectomy and anterior vaginal repair. The anterior repair was unsuccessful,so I'm contending with cystocele and now vaginal vault dropping. I'm in the waiting list for a vaginal vault and further anterior repair. Any further suggestions you might have for my situation would be greatly appreciated 🙏❣️
@@vaginacoachDo you do the rolled towel under the other cheek and do the same exercise, again? Or only one side? If only one side, do the other side the next time?
I recommend seeing a pelvic floor physical therapist around 6 weeks post. You can begin exercise once cleared by your physician, typically around 6 weeks.
If you don’t want surgery, you can use a pessary, which is a flexible, circular (usually) silicone object that is easily inserted into the vagina and holds the vaginal wall up. You can google “vaginal pessary” to get more info.
I have to imagine what’s happening in my body to remember - when I breathe in my lungs fill up which would push my pelvic floor down, when I breathe out my pelvic floor can lift up as the air empties. Good work and good luck
Thank you I’ve recently realized I should be paying more attention to the pelvic floor and your podcast and this channel now wow so great !!

If the vaginal wall is collapsing into the vagina does it require surgery?
no not always
