Cleaned my EGR, changed my Distributor after completely losing spark, while trying to fix intermittent stalling issue. Restart reveals the idle surge in the video. Problem fixed thanks to some helpful TH-cam videos.👍👍
Air idle control valve. Attached to the backside of the throttle body. Kind of hard to get to with this model. All it needs most likely is to be taken off and cleaned out with carb spray. If it's that dirty, I would also clean out the throttle body. Change the spark plugs, put in iridium spark plugs for better burning of fuel and less gunk up. Replace distributor cap and rotor for better burning of fuel and less gunk up.
Another trick u can try. Disconnect battery cables touch positive and negative cables together, Off Battery, leave for 15 min to reset computer to factory. Then do high idle trick after. If it does not work , you may have another issue. I am not a certified mechanic, this is based off videos I watched and what worked for me. Good luck.
Nice, I'm gonna give it a shot today. Cleaned EGR, Vtec Solenoid, throttle body, IAC valve, Seafoamed the engine; Now she's surging... Surge aside, she's running excellent 😎
How do I turn the fans on and off for two cycles?
i did not understand that either
