Great review! I love how this is pegged as a “beginner keyboard” but it works as a MIDI and has tons of sounds for the studio, is SUPER lightweight for live shows as well.

I got this very keyboard but I, once again after watching your video, learned that the real music instrument is the brain, not the keyboard. Jesus, what do I need to play half as good as you do! @@sumedhhhhLook into a used keyboard with weighted keys. You might be surprised how little you have to spend! It might not have all the bells and whistles, but you can use a laptop to make up for that. The feel of a keyboard is probably the most important thing.
@@danieldougan269 yeah you're right and i did actually look for used weighted keyboards but unfortunately where i live i couldnt really find anything good and the ones i did find had almost no reduction in their prices. However I've still got some time before i actually get a keyboard so yeah I'm still trying to find the best deal i can 😎👍

I can’t believe this but I will be traveling to Mass. to hopefully be picking up a Yamaha PSR E 473, by chance I was on my I Pad and wishing I could read all about the keyboard and before my eyes it jumped right in grin and there it was.!!!! Hi was looking for changing the tempo from 4 beats per measure to 3 beats per measure….Tried tapping the Tempo/Tap thrice as suggested in the manual but cannot do what I intend …. Some help regarding this will go a long way

This is brilliant, I was just browsing through TH-cam seeing which musical keyboard is best to get. As soon as you played first note, sold, I'm getting one of these. Does it have an orchestra mode?
Nice vid! Does anyone knows if the keyboard can do playback of your on keyboards recording while split play in the real time, and also record? So maybe recorded drums in the user data and play that track, while split play bass, and piano, and record the real-time mix?

The default setting is the closest to the original sound.

As a professional keyboardist, I decided to buy this solely on the updated Grand piano - the same patch found in the $5K Tyros. Perfect keyboard for the practice room - and for the gigs I don't feel like lugging the heavier boards to :) Fantastic video demo!
woah is it trrue? the same sound quality and tone w/ the grand piano on Tyros?
@@haynz309 - yes - although when using this keyboard at even smaller gigs, it needs to be amplified (phone/output jack to power amp PA via TRS cable) - the 2.5W internal speakers are just meant for a small room.
@@RedEyeC This is my first keyboard (or just piano all together) and I really need to know if it is possible to enable some sort of function that makes the keys have the "after sound" - I'm not versed in piano terminology as you can see - that I typically hear from pianos. When I press the keys, the sound immediately stops when I let go and I've seen several videos featuring this keyboard where the sound(s) linger after the player releases the keys so I know its possible; any help would be appreciated 😅
I bought Psr E463 it's around 235 bucks it's even better than this one
@@aniketb3513 - PSR-E473 is coming out in a month or two. But yeah, the E463 has better speakers and flash drive access. But - the E463 doesn't have the newer Grand Piano (it has the older Concert Grand) - hoping that the E473 will not only have the new Grand, but also the two L/R stereo jacks. If not - I won't buy it.
Should I bye this one ore a used psr E433 for 150Euro? Im torn between used ore a new one. Theoreticaly the PSR E433 has more funktions?
Can anybody tell me the name of the piece he plays when he demonstrates strings?
I got the same new and sometimes it has buzzling on max volume for piano voices. I thought it is a speaker problem and connected Senheiser HD206 and hear the same, usually on low tones with hard pressing. Its very annoying. Could anyone tell me is this is normal for this instrument?

Just bought this. Chose over Casio ctx800. Why? Quality/uncomplicated/fun mix was right. Plus can upload to video etc easily. Bender avail via app.
