- In this video we visit Patong Bangla, Phuket Thailand. After Checking into our hotel we go have lunch by Patong Beach. In the evening, we have a men’s night out and the lady’s have a ladies night out. Eventually we all meet up and hang out together. Usually, Gift and I are not for the night life, but this evening turned out to be a lot of fun.

I spent 2 months in a little hut on that beach in 1978. Everything was run off generator then. That's when it really was paradise.

Hello Joe and Gift, once I got my orientation with The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa, everything came flooding back. Ah the traditional drunken Kebab LOL, and especially the Crazy Horse (no longer there) and the Tiger bar, and Blix. I spent weeks there hehe, and made some very good friends, one very famous, whom I still keep in contact with, and will be visiting when I come to Thailand next year. Very good video, 10 / 10 Stay Safe, Keep Well my friends. Ps sitting back at 22.35 having a Woodford and dreaming of walking on Patong beach, with a warm but refreshing sea breeze, listening to the waves crash on the sand, and seeing the moon shine on the water...........

Wow, $36 USD for that hotel? Looks like a pretty high class stay. I wonder what a similar beachfront place would charge... Just checked; A sea view deluxe room at the Hilton Arcadia - Phuket is under $70 a night for a fantastic view.

Tuk Tuk prices in Patong are outrageously overpriced but I believe everything else is about on par with other tourist areas of Thailand

Hotel has decent price 1,000 THB/night including breakfast with nice view! Yes, Taxi price in Phuket is crazy expensive.

Just like Gift, my wife and I don't drink alcohol, but can still have a good time. It's a good job that we are all different and can enjoy different things. Hi Paul, unfortunately I do not have any recommendations. I would just goggle rentals in Hua Hin and there will be many realtors to choose from. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
I do miss Phuket. And back then the good looking girls worked in the bars and not the fat food places. ( not that I went in those places just had to walk down walking street, hehe) Oh well good for them all.

phuket used to be my main stay for the first 15 years going to thailand, I lost a lot of friends in the tsunami, and the bungalows I stayed in got wiped out. This vid brings back a lot of memorys, used to drink the the U2 bar

The well known Tuk Tuk Mafia on Phuket is getting stronger day by day as they get more and more politicians and policemen on the payroll. The prices in Phuket where 10× more than anywhere else in Thailand when i visited first time in1992, seems like it,s just the prices there.🤑
