Stoicism has completely changed my life and this is just some of the things it gave me ; -serenity -freedom -happiness -resilience -deeper compassion to others -purpose -discarded my anxiety -fearlessness So I urge all of you to learn philosophy and teach your kids. It was your videos that inspired me to do a Diploma in Stoicism and start to study it for the rest of my days. I am early on in my journey and excited! It was Miyamoto Musashi that kind of led me to Stoicism. And from what I have discovered so far, it is Seneca I resonate with more than any other stoic so far. One of my favourite quotes is. " We suffer more in imagination, than in reality" An unbelievably powerful and layered sentence!

Great meditation to start the day. One book that I read over the weekend that embodies stoicism is "Medici Money"- a true wonder what this Italian family went through to be among the most memorable in the world of art and finance.

He talked about how there were inventions made within living memory like steam power and hypocausts, but he said that these were “the works of the lowest slaves” and were to be disregarded. Just don't be annoying about it. Stoics are like engineers and vegans, they always let you know they are one.
