2021 New Peloton Tread review vs Tread Plus

Review of New 2021 Peloton Tread, in comparison to my newly purchased Peloton Tread Plus. I tested out new model at local pop-up Peloton store. Also a look at our Half Marathon Medal collection.

Agreed, just got the tread + 3 weeks ago and as a casual runner, I love it. The Brooks Adrenaline 21 are fantastic shoes too! Great review!

Thanks for the recs on running shoes. I have the Tread+ as well, got it bc its similar to the Woodway. Would never get the Tread with the regular belt.

no issue for me, but if you have a loser carpet, maybe I could see, some people get treadmill mats to lay on floor first.

Out of curiosity, did you send your plus back due to the recall? We have one and love it, but debating. The factors of the recall don't really apply to us.

Do you think they will be redesigning the tread plus soon? I’m wondering if I should hold off on buying a tread plus until the new tread comes out in May. It’s confusing how they renamed the old tread as the tread plus. I can’t help but think a redesign of the tread plus will soon follow. Also, I noticed some screen shaking when you were running. Do you notice that and does it bother you? Thanks for the great video!

i wondered myself, i do not see a change. i could not imagine a new large screen more powerful speakers. the speaker on new peloton is very good. i have no negatives on the screen to justify a problem on waiting. the tread plus itself will never change much. especially with that new model. all the other treads on the market i feel have moved to peloton format, in a way to catch up. My Tread plus is in my basement above a large crawl space. i can even feel the bounce on the floor above. the screen is connected to the tread mechanism, so there will always be something. However it does not bother me, barely notice, but you can notice if you stare and look for it. No big deal, mine is on carpet, some sound absorption too, hard floor may echo more noise. I feel this is superior to bike. walking, hiking, etc... i really enjoy it..

@@skullartcollector Thank you very much! I also chatted with Peloton. They say they have no plans to do anything with the tread plus anytime in the near future. We are always on the cusp of something new and different. At some point one has to get on the train (in this case treadmill). I’ve made a decision to purchase it. Thanks again.

Don't buy this junk!! I bought it it wasn't working they said they would replace it with a new one, they came back with just rails while is now a second day off work..they ate now trying to just replace the monitor which is another day off work so it's now a 10k treadmill..on yop of them not bringing enough help to get it upstairs which I did pre deliver instructions. Don't waste your money on this junk!!
