  • Just one way that I cover my dredging gloves to help them last. 3M 5200 Fast Cure Marine Adhesive Is the other stuff you can use, but cost a bit more just under $17 bucks for 3 oz.

Great video . I think they make a spray on plastic as well as the dip . From the same company . Good luck and happy dredging brother.

You might be happy with the Kevlar lined gloves. Ive switched to the 5mm kona gloves. They last a month in the sharp bedrock, the normal neoprene I have cut open on the first day of use peeling the bottom up. I think they would last a whole season with alittle 3m on the finger tips

Those kona 5mm gloves how much did you pay? Great bit of info Goldminer Jay. Got to ask, where about do you like to dredge or mine? Are you in Washington State? Well Thanks.

      Hi, BahtMan,
Ive found them on ebay, but google Kona gloves, I did get a pair of used ones that were 7mm and seemed to wear my hands out, to thick. I think they are around $40 but the bedrock I am peeling is very sharp like shist. I live in interior Alaska just north of denali park.

Goldminer Jay I will most defiantly look those bad boys up, sound pricy. But if last longer, thanks for that name and info. It is great to hear other peoples trials and errors first. Saves time and helps get an idea before stepping forward with something.
North of denial, wow I have to say I've herd a lot of good this about gold in and around the denali's.
Got to ask, do you use any type of water heating system to your wetsuit? like a heat exchangers or propane on demand hot water heater.

no heat at all, ive never checked water temp but should just to log in diary. Im sure it is 33 degrees in mid may when I can get up in the hills. In my videos you notice the tommyd wet suit I have? I don't know much about suits but got this one from ebay. 7mm, which is the farmer john so my core is 14mm and extremedies are 7mm. This one has the built in hood(can get with out also) I love it cause on a warm day or a clean up I can take the upper off. I do need to have wife put in a relief zipper though! I need to put some 3m 5200 on the knees too. As for warm water, in 3ft or less (to bed rock) I have been using a snorkel and mask, around the mask is only part I feel the cold water.
