    Please update it all with new knowledge on particules densification and extraction level brought by Lance Hendrik videos in the last month.

      Lance is great, it looks like he's been doing some pretty thorough test recently. We'll be sure to incorporate it into future videos.

    Great advice on pulling shots but you might want to include prefilter papers in your portafilter next time. I have really grown to appreciate them. I use a GS3 MP machine and have both the EG-1 and Niche grinders. I also cheat with a Puqpress but do use a tamp occasionally.

      You really believe, that buying all those papers, and tossing them out, add that much value to your coffee,

      @@E_Dtl it’s made pulling shots between different roasts a little more forgiving especially as the beans age from one week to the next. I will add that many also believe that it helps keep the group head clean but that has not been my experience. It might reduce some spent grounds from remaining in the group head but I still find the same amount of cleaning necessary. I have puck screens as well but the shot comes out slightly different which of course might be desired depending on the roast. In the end I might be a little too picky but I enjoy the differences none the less.
