Helldivers crashes a lot in the middle of missions plus they recently added premium pass. Also 30 paid days vacation because in Sweeden is enforced by the law. I play Helldivers and i like it, but is being praised and overhyped more than what it truly deserves.

One of the biggest issue I always had with live service game was the fact that basically anything comstic became something you had to pay for. A core part if progression in games became locked behind either ridiculous grind or a paywall. I mean I do like playing games like R6S but damn did they fuck up progression by retroactively jacking up the prices of old in game items, adding a battle pass, locking new ops behind a paywall for extended periods of time, and removing old items from the store where you could buy them for currency you could earn and putting them in bravo packs(loot boxes) which you can only get in the premium tear of the battle pass to pad out the loot pool. Just coming from a defense mission where we were literally getting a constant rain of Drop Ships on Suicide difficulty, I can definitely agree that Helldivers 2 curves the difficulty based on your performance, because we literally did not lose a single man on that mission and it was glorious.
I had just gotten my first ever Gaming PC built and Helldivers was the first ever game I chose to play. Safe to say it was a great experience to the gaming world. all of these body flying glitches im pretty sure the dev just said "welp the player having fun with it might just leave it there and say it is as intended"
Swedish company, so the "30 paid vacation days" is just a swedish thing, not an arrowhead thing. Still nice though. Almost everyone have 25 days, 30 days when you turn 40, then more as you age.
A big reason why live service is a thing is because of employment. It’s much easier to have contractors roll in and out for a live service game rather than full time employees with well thought out content updates. It’s what happened to halo. Reach had a full time crew that had worked on 4 games, infinite was was made by like 10 different contractor dev teams who were fired every year.
The biggest disappointment as of recent years is halo infinite for me because the gameplay itself is really solid and good and if only it wasn’t free to play we might have gotten a traditional progression which would have made the game so much better. And more people would have bought it, it’s literally a win win senario.

22:36 - Correction: Testing has shown that enemies are exactly the same in all difficulties. A hunter will two-shot you even in Trivial, if it hits your head twice. Just wanted to add, despite Helldivers 2 being developed by a relatively small studio. It is not a indie game, in fact it's owned/published and funded by Playstation (one of the biggest publishers in the games industry)
My friends and I were some of the lucky ones to play Helldivers 1 a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. When we saw it was getting a 3rd person sequel a few months ago, we were instantly hyped. Helldivers is lucky enough to be at the tail end of the craze and have devs who stood up to sony and told them off and let them do there own thing to make the game successful. this is second time this kind of thing happen. I remember apex legends did samething told off ea to kindly fuck off from handling there game and let them do their thing on there own and it made the game super successful. My point is here let the developers make the game fun and engaging and stop corpo meddling and people will be willing to pay money for it and play it. But i wont say it is giving the service games a second wind. Too early to speculate that claim till we get few more successful service games
I don't get the money but I enjoy it together with my favourite streamers. Hope helldivers cements itself into the gaming fabric for it to last. Like with most games I likely get to play them 5 years after they release.
Lack of Deep Rock Galactic representation here is genuinely disappointing, especially since its actually a great live service game with a completely free battle pass on top of being a great co-op horde shooting game. And no, the lack of updates rn doesn't take away the greatness. Pretty understandable since its being developed by an indie studio that is tackling like 2 games at this point, thus slowing down the updates for DRG.
I have never been so excited for live service updates as I am with Helldivers 2. I mean, yeah, it's the only time I've been excited for live service (it still feels so wrong to say), but still, I get very excited!
I dont speak for every woman, but Helldivers 2 is the only game so far where no one has given me shit for being a woman, as long as you spread democracy, everyone is awesome...except the people that kick me out after stealing my Rover Dog 😌
I remember when Black Ops 2 had skins for like 3$ and you could use them on every weapon, I don't think inflation has risen for 1000% to justify 25$ single gun skins.

Problem is for service games there's too many out there that overbloats.
Dont forget sony also has a another service game and they fumbled that one
@@evandaymon8303 helldivers is sony’s only games as a service game right now.

I don't get the money but I enjoy it together with my favourite streamers. Hope helldivers cements itself into the gaming fabric for it to last. Like with most games I likely get to play them 5 years after they release.
Each mission is like an action movie. I only can do like 2 full missions at a time.

343 pissed on halos corpse and I'll never forgive them for it
I'm around your age, I love the music choices in your videos. Keep it up man.

The fox is going to get let loose in the hen house. That's the ultimate fate of a Live Service.

It was cool I taught a kid that super credits we find is pretty much vbucks and thay was a cool moment
I have never been so excited for live service updates as I am with Helldivers 2.
I mean, yeah, it's the only time I've been excited for live service (it still feels so wrong to say), but still, I get very excited!
I played OW2 last year without buying anything and still had a good time hot take
I dont speak for every woman, but Helldivers 2 is the only game so far where no one has given me shit for being a woman, as long as you spread democracy, everyone is awesome...except the people that kick me out after stealing my Rover Dog 😌
I remember when Black Ops 2 had skins for like 3$ and you could use them on every weapon, I don't think inflation has risen for 1000% to justify 25$ single gun skins.
I am impressed by the amount of Kanye West songs you’ve been putting into this video.
6:04 CSGO's Battle Royale was actually the best BR I've ever played. It just took some learning of the mechanics to see it.
Folks just didn't understand it.
And then they ruined it by making solo players play in the same servers as teams.
Dead on that's why I fuck with your content being brutally honest
Yall remember when ingame events used to be FUN? You'd log in witg excitement and experience joy as you played through the limited time event. Now you just pull out ur wallet and have your soul sucked...and NOT in the good way . 😠🤣
At the time I'm watching this the bots have taken Cyberstan!!!! DIVERS ASSEMBLE
Ultrakill is a great live service game that's not supposed to be a live service game but it feels worth mentioning
Brosky, you gotta cite your music. ❤ The vid is hilarious btw!
Gonna be totally honest, hd2 is fun as hell but the monetization still isn’t very good
