I'm thinking she must've meant 17 weeks but even then that's around 3000 hours, pretty standard for very good players in CSGO or CoD.
She meant 17*24=408 hours
17 hours is how much you play before touching the main story.
408 hours. A lot for an fps, but if you were playing a grand strategy game you'd still be discovering new features.

My family and I can’t relate on video game stuff very often, but I was watching this review earlier and they asked what I was watching. I ended up showing the video to them and they loved it.
