I like the randomness of these loose sketches! Also, I appreciate your commentary written on the sketches... it's much better than just a flip-through.
Ha thanks. Just being curious, trying out different things and playing. The by-product seems to be improvement in my drawings. I think I can still push it further.
Cool sketches without outlines practice! I do my watercolor urban sketching without outlines often, but i add lines afterwards. Also, I like the sketch of the third person added by your daughter very much. I wonder how old she is. Because she caught proportions and the whole composition professionally (imho)
Thanks. She is about 10 yrs old now. She says she wants to be an illustrator when she grows up haha. Doing sketching without outlines does give a nice look. I’m keen to see your sketches:)
All these drawings are really nice, have a real sense of joy for drawing about them, nice one :) Just got the ebook too! had a quick look, very nice indeed, can't wait to get stuck into it on my days off (in 2 days :D)
Thanks Matt. Hope it's fun looking through my mundane life stories haha. Hmm joy. That's a good observation. I really care how these loose sketches turn out. Perhaps that's why I have more joy doing them:)

I think when they are loose paper, I feel even less conscious so it gets even more random haha. Yeah some context usually helps. Thanks:)
I could look at your drawings all day. Fantastic!!
Thanks Dan. Do you have a blog or website too? I see some nice drawings in your profile.
It just goes to prove that all our mark making has value. What a playful collection.
Well I've managed to find use for them by making them in a video haha. But they did serve me in the form of play, yes:)
I didn't know about the vario tip brush, I always learn something new in your videos, thank you very much ^^
It's a fun brush. I remember I have it every once in awhile and use it. I should take it out again!
Amazing sketches, I see how you have been evolving your skills.

Great video! I love your style and color choices! So fun to see all the comic scenes.
I almost forgot about these comics. I drew them in a quick moment. I think sometimes those quick fleeting ideas are rather fun.
Drew, your work is so magical and surprising…I have to say the “kettlebell at the gym” sketch made me laugh so hard🤣 Thank you!!!
Why? Kettlebells are one of the simpler things to draw at a gym:) And I can draw it quicker before the session starts.

@@Drewscape-art I love it, real nice vibe to it and some really fun art, nice one :)
Way cool mess.......💙
Exactly! Getting over the fear of making messes does make drawing more fun.
