- This is my September 2021 sketchbook. It's where I practice and experiment. It's also a place I keep memories.

Beautiful. I love your drawings.❤
Thank you:)
It's just wonderful to be able to wander through your memories and sketchbooks with you! To be able to experience the warm and special moments of your family while you protect their identity so well. That inspires me especially! Best regards from Cologne, Germany 🎉
Hello to you in Germany! Thanks for wandering through it with me:)
I enjoyed your sketchbook tour Andrew, it's always nice to see another video from you and also to gain new ideas....that inspires me.....Thanks for sharing and untill the next video take careeee....Grtzzz Rob The Netherlands ✍😉👍
Thanks for the encouragement yet again. Thanks Rob!
I say it over and over, love your sketchbook videos…well, all your videos 😃 I’m moving to another state in the US and this video has been a magical moment of peace in between a whole lot of chaos! Thank you☺️👏🏽🎈
I love all the textures, colors and different types of lines of your work, thanks as always for the inspiration. 😊
Yeah I was trying so many things but I’ve still to master them more. Problem with too much shopping for art tools 😄
Awesome video, so much to take in, gonna be watching this a good few times. Excellent work
I love and admire your comic diaries. Inspired by you, I have been making a comic diary daily the past 2 weeks, and it's very challenging, but I am enjoying the process very much. Please keep sharing yours! Thank you!
Hi Tina, daily? That’s probably more than me. Where can I see them ? On your blog?:)
Thanks for showing us your sketchbook. Your comics are amazing, I love how you capture so much vitality in your loose style
Thanks for looking through it with me. Well, for me, it has to be loose if not I might not have time to capture those memories😄
Love your sketchbook tours! Isn't it amazing how vivid the memories are when we look back over the parts of our lives that we sketch compared to when we only write them out using words? At least that's how it is for me. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Yes it’s true for me. Drawing the images and with my own hand, does help me remember the scenes more vividly😄 thanks!
This is so cute ❤❤❤❤
Love the printmaking and experimentation
Me too. Wish I’d do more of those
Great works Andrew, inspirational drawings, the framed pages combining a lot with your full pages and the music, the music is relaxing and so special! I'm just suscribing to your videos! Gabriel from Barcelona!
Hello to you way over in Barcelona! Thank you!
i like your style!
I really enjoyed the colored pencil sketches... all with color grab my attention where black and white does not instantly draw me in.
Yes colour does make it feel more complete. Admittedly, in the book, I didn’t fill so many with colour due to lack of time:)
Thanks Drew. Another amazing sketchbook. I was interested in your printmaking techniques as I’ve been eyeing a lino printing kit but don’t want to sink money into it in case it doesn’t work out, so your ideas are a great alternative
Haha you seem to be looking out for new art stuff to buy. Foam sheets are a cheap alternative. I’ve yet to try out lino properly, even tho I have all the materials and tools!
It’s fun to draw your dad in this way
Yes. It’s more memorable ha
I enjoy your stuff and videos. What Colors are in your watercolor palette? Seems like a nice muted limited palette
Well for the cover, it was gouache mixed from just a basic box of colours. For the watercolours inside, yes it do like more a more muted palette. I use the usual suspects like payne’s grey, burnt sienna, cerulean blue and some daniel smith colours. Perhaps it’s just how I mix them so they don’t appear too strong:)
The pencil drawings have a different vibe?
It does have a different vibe. Softer one. If I’d used a smoother paper, pencils can look pretty amazing even for comics:)
@@Drewscape-artI like them as is. Reminds me of Glen Scouller. Pencil under water colour on cold pressed paper...
Where did you get that awesome stamp set on the cover? I tried looking up "alphabet stamp set", but google's telling me there are something like four kabilliontyzillion results and none of them look like this one. :D
Yeah nice alphabet stamps are hard to find. I got them from a stationary store called Kikki k long ago. But I see some people selling that set online www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fmedia.karousell.com%2Fmedia%2Fphotos%2Fproducts%2F2017%2F01%2F16%2Fkikki_k_alphabet_stamp_set_1484563585_670aebf2.jpg&tbnid=nkEy1rzbU3JCPM&vet=1&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.carousell.sg%2Fp%2Fkikki-k-alphabet-stamp-set-85448311%2F&docid=WY8MW7siCbnmTM&w=640&h=641&itg=1&hl=en-us&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim%2Fm1%2F3&kgs=73993d6cddba2b46&shem=abme%2Ctrie
@@Drewscape-artThank you so much! (Well, *I* thank you. My wallet, not so much.). :D :D :D
Hahaha I know right. Funny thing about stamps is, they are so appealing at first. I will use them once or twice (and love it) then forget them for ages before I use them again.
