I’m going to mention a reference you missed in CtM in case you missed it In the Teleporter sucess, Henry briefly teleports onto the street from the Lawyered Up ending from ETP, hell the same van that Henry was chasing almost hits him this time to prove the point further
Something I noticed was possibly another missed reference. From the Fleeing the Complex video, there was a character named Lil’ Mikey which was thought to have been a reference to typical rapper names, but I think it’s more likely a reference to “The Green Mile.” 1: The characters shoes are green, 2: The character in the green mile being referenced has an actor with the name Michael (Michael Clarke Duncan). 3: The bio states that the guy is innocent and that he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. This is what happens to the character Michael Duncan plays in the film. A guy arrested for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. 4: The “Lil” part of the name is a joke on how the actual character is a giant, but acts more like a scared child. Just something I thought I’d put here.
@@2leftthumbs In stealing the diamond, in the ending where the diamond goes over the ledge of the bridge and henry gets to keep it, he does a bunch of poses with the diamond in reference to rayman origins treasure levels where you have to chase a treasure chest to nab a tooth for some weird guy blocking a door to a new area
Little Mickie is a character from Book of Mario, a modification of the N64 game Paper Mario. Not much is known about the character, other than he appears in one of Paul's questions and that he hid the dry casquet and the dry particles.
27:16 It could be that Puff intentionally put down the wrong answer jingle purposefully. In the game, there is also a "lie" button. This is used when Cole has evidence that the person is lying. But, using doubt is not interchangeable with lie and is still possible to get it wrong in LA Noire. So in this scene, maybe the guard had evidence that Ellie and Henry is lying, but chose doubt instead.
Working on this was certainly an experience! I've been working a little bit with Graeme for a while and I first got obsessed with his channel because of the Henry Stickmin videos, so to be the person editing these now is like woah, thanks again for having me, it was a lot of fun!

10:20 This may have been mentioned before but the way the commander screams Henry reminded me and a lot of my friends about a kids show in the UK called "Horrid Henry" where a reoccurring trope was Henry's name being screamed by his parents because he is so mischievous. The Kazotsky Kick, the Russian dance taunt, was introduced a year later in the Gun Mettle update on July 2nd, 2015

I have no idea why, but all the Stickmin videos recently had a bump in viewership within the last couple weeks. Which is crazy, because this video was already in production by the time that came about! Some very serendipitous timing there :)
I just randomly got back into the Stickminverse and after binging through the playlist started wondering if this video was ever uploaded. If that's not perfect timing, I don't know what is.
Something I noticed was that in the small cutscene that plays in Stealing The Diamond between the Retro Exhibit and the Tunisian Entrance is that when Henry opens the door a sound very similar to the Windows Longhorn startup sound plays (though that might just be a coincidence.)
Yesss! Always good to find an excuse to revisit Henry Stickmin. Also, little observation, the guards in FtC talking about exchanging hats reminds me of the toppats exchanging hats in CtM. Could be a little running gag
This is insane being early on one of your videos, but I already know it's well-constructed and entertaining, so I'm looking forward to this ride this Friday afternoon~
Great video! One more thing I noticed, really tiny detail: The fail screen after the civilization reference during the airship says "Just one more turn?" Which is a reference to an option in the civilization games to continue playing after someone has already won. Tiny detail but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
So Henry can metalbend and earthbend, and Ellie can use the Force... In addition to recorded criminal actions, those abilities make them frighteningly powerful. Maybe that's a good reason the Wall was so insistent on hunting them down in the Pure Blooded Thief/Convict Allies path of Completing the Mission. That seems like a long distance and a lot of resources to pursue 2 people, so it had to be a worthwhile goal. I wonder if a similar pursuit was attempted in any of the other Convict Allies paths but didn't get very far...
22:50 this could also be combined with other achievements in The Binding of Isaac that you get when not taking damage on any given chapter; such as "Basement Boy", "Spelunker Boy", "Mama's Boy", etc.
I'll restate one of the references that you missed, that wasn't put in this video. The zero-point energy fail when you choose sticky hand first in infiltrating the airship, directly takes the sound effect from the Halo forge mode for when you move an object. Not sure about all Halo games but at least Halo 4.
One reference I want to finally be noticed is in the Valiant Hero path. During the point where you and Charles are crawling through the vents, Charles sings "Crawling through the vents. These" before getting interrupted. This is a reference to the song "Crawling" by Linkin Park, where the full lyric is "Crawling through my skin. These wounds, they will not heal."
Also in the fail that has the text that says “this seems like a good place to put an achievement” it might be a loose reference to an achievement the Stanley parable where you start by clicking on a door five times, the narrator thinks it’s too easy and starts making you do a whole bunch of other, weird stuff
A bit of continuity I noticed: the fail text for the command melody in fleeing the complex states "if only you had an ocarina", and when the ocarina appears as a completing the mission, it is indeed the correct option
Two other things I noticed that you kinda missed relating to Samuel Mundy, the sniper from stealing the diamond, in his bio it says hes not a crazed assassin which is very similar to the lines he uses in the meet the sniper video when talking to his father on the phone "I'm not a crazed gunman dad I'm an assassin, well the difference bein ones a job and the others mental sickness" and the boom headshot fail text is also the first thing the sniper says in the meet the sniper video
Another thing: In the relentless bounty hunter/rapidly promoted executive route, we see Reginald attempting to open a door by swiping a card through a reader, and failing multiple times. The sounds for this are taken from the card swipe task in among us. This was taken a step further in among us where a card swipe is required to open doors that were locked by an impostor.
I've always had this funny thought that Cole Phelps always had a small band just out of frame playing the musical queues for him. Now I'm amused at the thought of Henry having the same thing. Like the little band is making musical references that Henry himself wouldn't get.
10:10 i like to think that scream is a horrid henry reference where his mum, dad or teacher would yell out HENRYY!! when he did something wrong or its an alvin and the chipmunks reference
28:44 The name “Gary” is probably a reference to Garry’s Mod, but the “Mann” is 100% another reference to TF2. The weapons in the game are from Mann Co. and the mercs work for the Mann brothers. Gary could also be a play on Gray Mann, the long-lost brother of Blutarch and Redmond
This game needs more recognition after it was abandoned by everyone references, and after details in putting them it deserves it after its first game 15 years ago ¡¡Happy anniversary The Henry Stickmin Collection!! 🥳🎮🎩🕺
In the Revenged path of CtM, it's worth noting that the name of Right Hand Man's spirit is likely a triple reference. The name seems to be a play on the song "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce, the spirit being named this way is likely based on JoJo stands being named after music (For instance, Killer Queen), and the alteration of the name could potentially be a reference to how stand names are often changed when they're localized to English, so as to be more copyright friendly.
The guard that shoots Henry in the Frosty disguise is named Karl Pinkerton, which is a reference to British comedian Karl Pilkington. The bio states he’s travelled the world and that his head looks like an orange, which references both Pilkington’s show “An Idiot Abroad” and the fact that his bald head is often compared to an orange
idk if someone has already pointed it out (probably have) but I saw in the ending of presumed dead, Henry can be seen on the back of a truck with the licence plate "A113" which is a reference to Pixar. Always as an easter egg they hide in every one of their movies.
No idea if it was intentional or not but during the Stickmin Space Resort ending, there is a character named Elizabeth Greene. This is the same name of one characters from [PROTOTYPE].
28:04 two things: if you get something wrong in LA noire the player character gets "overly aggressive" (in an overly dramatic funny way), just like the profile of cole felps the stickman. The correct answer would have to be "lie" considering the "eight floor" is an evidence to present which you cant present in doubt mode
11:26 I'm not sure if anyone else has pointed this out yet, but I'm pretty sure the trope originates from Mega Man II, where getting a boss' weapon would display "Weapon Get: Insert Weapon Here"
15:34 I am convinced that it was actually removed in an update: I watched 10 gameplays from when the game just released and they all have the sound, but looking at here and another gameplay from like 5 months ago it's gone.
When I saw you uploaded this I was gonna comment something about expecting you to make a complete video of all of the parts....and just as I was typing it you mentioned wanting to do it :3
13:41 this makes the stout shako more funny because of the infamous “stout shako for 2 refined” line from tf2 which is a stupid price for a random normal hat
Whilst watching this, I got an ad for Attacking the Tower. Around 1 or 2 years earlier, I actually saw something about it and I remember something about a character creator. No idea about the character creator, but it's nice to see it's coming together.
Another possible unintended reference with Ellie using the taser… The way Henry wiggles about is pretty similar to how enemies react in the Syphon Filter series when being electrocuted by the taser, with their upper body just spazzing out.
At 22:01 - due to the fact that the stands are still on the gun, it could be a reference to the Awper hand from tf2, a promotional item for sniper. Also the sandwich choice In ftc is probably a tf2 sandvich reference. Anouther possible reference is that the “neurotoxin” fail could be a reference to the portal series’s since Glados constantly threatened chel with deadly neurotoxins
9:16 the sound the airship makes as its going down in the flash version sounds very similar to the sound you hear as the engineer when your buildingnis getting sapped
You might've missed a reference in Infiltrating the Airship. One of the portraits of Toppat leaders has one leader wielding a golden gun, specifically a Desert Eagle. This could be a reference to Nicholas Cage's character in the movie Face/Off, where he wields twin, gold-plated Desert Eagles. Might be worth a deeper look into! Also, would like to re-mention, in Stealing the Diamond, the guard you drop the Tunisian Diamond on, has a rifle. In the Flash version, it was an AK-style rifle, while in the updated version he's using something more akin to an M4 or M16-style rifle, which would make sense to update as the setting is in the United States, not a former Soviet Union country.
I don’t know if this has been mentioned before, but it appears the painting to the left of the bull at 8:01 is a reference to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time showing Hyrule Castle and Death Mountain
The tazer and sniper could have also been a reference to the batman Arkham games, where any gun thug hit with your remote electric charges will flail around shooting.
I'm so happy I didn't miss this when scrolling through my reccomended. I just finished watching the other episodes and this was an incredible surprise Hey, funni joke: Why is the horse so small? No stomach!
13:45 Al Kohaul could also be a reference to the Simpsons with Barts many prankcalls to Moe’s Tavern and asking if there’s somebody there which always is a joke name like Al Koholic where Moe says: Is there an Al Koholic here? Or in another episode you have Mike Rotch, Lee Keybum or Homer Sexual.
Fun fact: The design of the Model 1887 in MW2 2009, for both the original 2009 release as well as the 2020 campaign remaster, was specifically based on the custom Model 1887 prop used in Terminator 2; The Winchester M1887 was never meant to be like how it appears in Terminator 2 and MW2 2009 at all.
The taser sniper rifle combo is a reference to the batman arkham series. There is a too in the game called the "remote electrical charge" and if you shoot a goon holding a gun with it,he shoots randomly hind of like henry does.
during the rocket launcher fail in the original flash game, when the helicopter shoots down the airship, the ship plays an audio that sounds like the damaged sentry alarm from tf2 in fleeing the compex (the original flash version), the elevator going down floors sounds like the payload moving sound from tf2
In stealing the diamond, when you get headshot by the sniper from tf2, the boom headshot is most likely a refrence to the intro to the "meet the sniper" sfm.
Here’s one that I think is a thing, and if it is you missed it: In your first video on Infiltrating the Airship, you questioned why there was a horse’s neigh before the turn based section. This whole scene seems to be a generic Western references, with the poses being similar to preparing a quick draw, and all the fights ending from a one shot kill. I think it might also be poking fun at the fact that in these games the characters just wait around for an attack and don’t make any attempts at defense or evasion, something that really would only happen in these sorts of duels. This might also be supported by the fact that the next turn based section is an Undertale reference, a game which specifically calls out the absurdity of waiting for your opponent to attack you and not dodging in turn based combat.
Pretty sure the pose that the sniper takes when the spy backstabs him is the same as the animation when the sniper is backstabbed, meaning the flag version just has a super piled up reference in a few seconds.
In infiltrating the airship seem to be multiple references to paintings from Piet Mondrian, one on the right from the bull statue and some in the room with the solider hat
No way, i thought i'd never see the dat, but you actually did it. Not because henry stickmin waspopular, because it no longer is, but because you made a promise and you kept it.
This is for the eventual part 2, the music clip when you hover over Dance-Off option in Completing the Mission sounds awfully familiar to the Dig2Chins music
Now I don't know about this for sure, but at the beginning of the Jewel Baron route in Completing the Mission, when Burt Curtis is notifying Reginald about the hostile object approaching, the portrait window that pops up around Reginald seems very reminiscent of the text box style of Persona 5. That jagged style contrasted with black outlines seems too specific not to be the case, but the use of yellow throws me off a bit.
I'm thinking the Bull Statue in Stealing the Diamond might be a vague reference to the Worms series, to a weapon called the Concrete Donkey. I think in some titles it stood on a similar pedestal.
The Part in collection where Henry wakes up might be a reference to Eddsworld. An episode about a fight about bacon. The person who took care of Tord and Edd in the hospital sounded identical to the women from Henry.

I'm so happy I didn't miss this when scrolling through my reccomended. I just finished watching the other episodes and this was an incredible surprise
Hey, funni joke: Why is the horse so small?
No stomach!
wow, its been 2 years? that's crazy!
it is interesting to come back once a while and get the references I was not able to get.
Wait are you telling me this "Fruz" person is about to make an animation with freaking PROBLEM SLEUTH in it!? Oh im subbing.

Al Kohaul could also be a reference to the Simpsons with Barts many prankcalls to Moe’s Tavern and asking if there’s somebody there which always is a joke name like Al Koholic where Moe says: Is there an Al Koholic here?
Or in another episode you have Mike Rotch, Lee Keybum or Homer Sexual.
Fun fact: The design of the Model 1887 in MW2 2009, for both the original 2009 release as well as the 2020 campaign remaster, was specifically based on the custom Model 1887 prop used in Terminator 2; The Winchester M1887 was never meant to be like how it appears in Terminator 2 and MW2 2009 at all.
Isn't the Laser in the IoaS QTE with Samuel Mundy a reference to PayDay Snipers, which point a laser at the player before firing?
I’m not entirely sure but I think that the boat in the Cleaned em’ out during the infini3 fail, it’s the same boat as the one in ghost inmate
Hey! Just noticed, The Henry Stickmen Collection was released on my birthday! Aint that wacky?
13:45 Al Kohaul may be a reference to the Simpsons episode where Bart asks Moe if there is an Al Coholic in the bar
The taser sniper rifle combo is a reference to the batman arkham series.
There is a too in the game called the "remote electrical charge" and if you shoot a goon holding a gun with it,he shoots randomly hind of like henry does.
Man I just binged like all these like a couple days ago.
As added depth on the RC helicopter in Sly 3, it specifically dispatches guards by pulling them with a tow cable.
during the rocket launcher fail in the original flash game, when the helicopter shoots down the airship, the ship plays an audio that sounds like the damaged sentry alarm from tf2
in fleeing the compex (the original flash version), the elevator going down floors sounds like the payload moving sound from tf2
I think the Key Get! reference is originally from Mario Party on the N64 because when you get a star it would say, "Star get!"
Hmm. I can't seem to find an example of that :/
In stealing the diamond, when you get headshot by the sniper from tf2, the boom headshot is most likely a refrence to the intro to the "meet the sniper" sfm.
Here’s one that I think is a thing, and if it is you missed it:
In your first video on Infiltrating the Airship, you questioned why there was a horse’s neigh before the turn based section.
Im starting to think Puffballs is just a media historian at this point.

it may be reverence to unit 1337 from madness combat that i think one unit had same exact weapon as rhm
but soon that unit was killed
In infiltrating the airship seem to be multiple references to paintings from Piet Mondrian, one on the right from the bull statue and some in the room with the solider hat
Finally, my favorite series on TH-cam has came back!
when the heli crits it also plays the sound from tf2 when your sentry has low health
No way, i thought i'd never see the dat, but you actually did it. Not because henry stickmin waspopular, because it no longer is, but because you made a promise and you kept it.
Another thing about the Kerbal reference from fleeing the complex the rocket is attached to a similar launch clamp to the one used in the game.
NCC: News Clean and Clear (since the cannel always gives the info Henry wants/needs)
Nate fox is probably just a reference to gray fox from mgs
In the RBH/RPE route in ITA the option “Spikes” may be a reference to kirby becoming a spike ball in “Super Smash Bros Melee”
Wow i just finished re watching the whole entire series. Was waiting for this
LET'S GO, IT'S FINALLY HERE! Wait was well worth it. Don't have anything to add though, might edit later if I decide there is anything to add
This is for the eventual part 2, the music clip when you hover over Dance-Off option in Completing the Mission sounds awfully familiar to the Dig2Chins music
I don't remember if you brought this up in the CTM RPE video but the ending of the Spirit Forme fail is a refrence to the "To Be Continued" meme
Started watching the series of Henry Stickmin today and you published new the same day, coincidence?
24:16 As a german he also said "Wo ist er?" if the item is selected wich translates to "Where is he?".
(8:00) I am pretty sure that could be reference to Camerupt from pokemon. I don't know why but the statue remind me that pokemon.
I forgot if you found this already but Gary Mann is also likely a reference to gray Mann from TF2, brother of red and blue Mann
Gray Mann is Valve referencing themselves. The original character is G-Man from Half-Life
31:57 m9 is number above of m8 or mate. So the full sentence is “fight me mate, I’ll wreck you”
