That Guard green is absolutely beautiful. Currently looking into trading my 2010 Kona blue Mustang (basically deep impact blue) in for a 2015 ecoboost or V6. Would have to say this color, the impact blue are 2 of my favs on the new design.
Thank you for explaining how to remove the visor mirror! I managed to purchase a replacement since mine was shattered. I did not even have to change out the whole visor, only the folding mirror. Bravo.
I have the full interior set and License plate LED's for my Veloster I can vouch for DiodeDynamics they are an amazing company and are well worth the money
Those interior lights look fantastic, perfect color temperature. I tried ebay LEDs years back on my old Accord and not only were they less bright than stock but they gave it that classic ricer blue color, took those out fast lol.
So I saved this video until I finally bought my car. I'm going to be doing the same full interior upgrade and LED Reverse light upgrade! Looks pretty simple so it shouldn't take too long for me to do!
Doesn't look like a problem in the video. But make sure that the reverse light doesn't glare too bad. It doesn't seem to be housed in anything so it can usually cause some bad glare. Great video as usual :)
First time trying Diode Dynamics I tried some HID Bulbs for my WRX and one of the bulbs would always flicker under acceleration or just randomly and they sent me a second pair of bulbs and it did the same thing. Mind you, it's a factory HID system as well, not aftermarket. I ordered cheap bulbs off amazon and they worked... I might give their LED reverse bulbs a try though! Nice video :)
I got the blue LEDs for the map lights and glove box and they look awesome, i got blue for the trunk as well but they are not bright at all. I'm gonna go with the option thats 8 dollars more and gives you more lumens. Overall didn't have too many issues other than blowing a fuse but its an easy fix after running to auto parts store
I'm pretty sure he ripped those diode dynamics stickers straight off after the video was done lmaooo ... On a side note I prefer the yellow lights on the inside during night. The LED light under the back bumper looked best.
Nice video Matt. Would really like to see more Mustang videos. Don´t know about what but i like the car so yeah. Oh, and a big congratulations on the wedding Sir :)
I thought from the thumbnail that the dash was wood. That would look awesome !!! Wood around the screen and button and maybe wood on the passenger side. Would be cool
I know yo love your mustang but I just watched your 2006 sit review and I'm surprised that you haven't gotten an STI. It just seemed to make you smile so much. anyway, love the videos and your mustang.
Is this the Mod you were talking about in the weekly update? Dud do some real mods for the damn car. Ive had my GT for less than 2 months and it has Exhaust, intake, tune, and Roush Hood vents.
***** They draw significantly less power than your factory incandescent bulb. Milliamps vs. amps. You could leave them on by mistake overnight and not experience any battery related issues whatsoever.
***** Like everyone said, LEDs use way less power. I have a 48 LED board in my dome light, left it on all night because I didn't shut my door all the way and the car started right up next morning.
subaruwrxfan by any chance do you know which package you got, stage 1 or stage 2? thanks man I appreciate all the videos and reviews that you do #ecoboostowner!
Like a year later you do the first mod on your crowd funded car which you promised to mod in order to promote your channel and it's friggin light bulbs.. sponsored light bulbs at that.. Lol..
RetiefGoosen I just figured out how to do switchbacks (or leds in general) on my Dodge Dart. No one in the community could figure it out. I think it might actually be more complicated than the mustang. As the Dart uses the turn signal lights as an optional DRL or parking light people also call it. If you swap out to led you not only have to deal with the hyper flash error, but the parking light out error. So there needs to be 4 total resistors, and the 2 on each side are different as they both use different voltage for their function. If the mustang is not like this, than it is a simple plug and play resistor that you can plug in and then the bulb into that. No errors and no splicing. Even if it is more complicated than that, like the Dart, then he even said Diode Dynamics was making a kit for these. So there won't be any issues with going to switch backs.

Looks great. Only thing is the main interior map light may be a bit too bright. But oh well.
WoW!! the difference is incredible, I'm going to have to check out the choices for my Focus.
Those LED lights make a huge difference! They look really good on your Mustang ;-)
Great review matt, you wouldn't think a couple of LED's would make such a difference, the mustang is looking a lot better with the new lights!
Diode Dynamics FTW. Replaced all my bulbs with them.
So I saved this video until I finally bought my car. I'm going to be doing the same full interior upgrade and LED Reverse light upgrade! Looks pretty simple so it shouldn't take too long for me to do!
Not a bad little mod, looks a lot better!
I have these on my WRX. Seriously worth the purchase. Very nice LED's. Great review!
Looks like a nice upgrade. I could use a pair of those in my BMW :)
Awesome products from Diode Dynamics, great review!!!!
Doesn't look like a problem in the video. But make sure that the reverse light doesn't glare too bad. It doesn't seem to be housed in anything so it can usually cause some bad glare.
Great video as usual :)
I just placed an order for some LED foglight housings from them this morning! Can't beat their return policy either :)
Lookin good Matt! and hey you don't need power mods, you already have the all important driver mod ;)
How long before you take that sticker off?
eazyd34 I guess once they stop sponsoring him. lol
eazyd34 Never, you shall not pass, you will get rekt bitch

they say you learn something new everyday.id never noticed till this video.2015 mustangs only have 1 backup light located in the center lol.

Really makes a nice improvement, I'll have to look into doing this to my Explorer project.
Looks like I could attempt this as soon as they get the 2005 Mustang V6 Map LEDs back in stock.
Scott Thomas sell that shit and buy fresh 2015
I'm pretty sure he ripped those diode dynamics stickers straight off after the video was done lmaooo ... On a side note I prefer the yellow lights on the inside during night. The LED light under the back bumper looked best.
Good way to loose the glove box bulb. Mine is now in the dash somewhere. You can just pull out the lock and light housing and put it In easier.
am i the only one who thought the interior aluminum trim looked like wood in that last interior shot? and it looked so amazing i wish it was a thing?
That's awesome! Im a authorized dealer for them!
thinking about doing some of theses on the BRZ i just bought today!
well done...great job on before and after.
Finally Matt, a mod, YES!!! but i was hoping for an exhaust or at least rims lol
What a difference! Cool!
EA40 I smell shit because turtle

The new LED's really look great. Which reverse one did you get? They offer 3 different Lumen options? Thx !!
I know yo love your mustang but I just watched your 2006 sit review and I'm surprised that you haven't gotten an STI. It just seemed to make you smile so much. anyway, love the videos and your mustang.
Is the reverse bulb the XP50 bulb version ?
These must be the performance mods he was talking about for weeks.
Did you change the license plate lighy as well or does it come nice and bright from the factory?
very nice matt!
TheCarista izzz nize

Did you ever get that door ding out?
Would you upgrade you turbo later on ?
Looks great!
Subaruwrxfan how fast is the ap1 s2000 with nitrous
Is this the Mod you were talking about in the weekly update? Dud do some real mods for the damn car. Ive had my GT for less than 2 months and it has Exhaust, intake, tune, and Roush Hood vents.
Matthew D Send him the money for it and I'm sure he'd love to do all that.
Does this affect your battery in any way? I feel like the LED's are taking more power than the traditional bulb
I'm pretty sure LEDs take less power and burn cooler than regular bulbs.
Wow. What an awesome upgrade
subaruwrxfan yea, LEDs use a small fraction of battery compared to regular light bulbs
Do the map lights fade when you close your door just like the stock ones?!
Mine do in my 17 elantra they fade out just like the stock ones. They fade a little quicker tho.
Great for people with 5% or lower tints.
Integrafreak1 I prefer tits
I just don't get why all modern cars don't have all LED by default.
New camera?
Cosmin296 fart
subaruwrxfan by any chance do you know which package you got, stage 1 or stage 2?
thanks man I appreciate all the videos and reviews that you do #ecoboostowner!
Thanks for watching! I believe it's the stage 1 kit, but the packages didn't say.
+SpeedyB Thanks for the info!
Like a year later you do the first mod on your crowd funded car which you promised to mod in order to promote your channel and it's friggin light bulbs.. sponsored light bulbs at that.. Lol..
Ummm why do you want to blind people when you reverse in dark conditions..? I get the interior update... But that reverse light... Beyond me.
Cool
Diode dynamics charges 20 dollars for the lights and 50 dollars for their box and packaging....
@5:40 thats what she said
Change your name???
Jaleel Lewis You can be a Subaru WRX fan and own a Mustang, moron.
Jaleel Lewis It's his brand. Brand recognition is valuable and extremely difficult to change.
I want to get the switchbacks so bad but the amount of issues no matter how great the customer service is sways me away from a purchase.

Isn't this made in China ?
Alexander mac Designed in the USA, made in China probably...
What isn't made in China these days?
What's the problem with it being made in China... everything is, because otherwise it'd probably be too expensive
These make my car lights look pitiful
Charter Con you little shit
