Totally agree. The sequential feature is cool, but more for the person entering your blind spot than you (or should be anyway - lol).
Honestly, I just watched this video jut so I can replace my side mirror since someone did a hit and run on me and dumb ford tried charging me $500 to fix it and I ended up buying the motor plus mirror for only $130. Thanks for the vid on how to remove the mirror👌🏽

i tried to pop out the side mirror but it disabled the motor in the mirror housing. i was trying to kill a damn spider living inside the side mirror. luckily, i took it to the dealership & have it replace under warranty.
Moral of the story, leave the spider alone

He says that the add a little bit of safety but he neglected to mention that you loose the most important safety feature which is the blind spot mirror. It's a loose loose situation. No thanks.

i think Red and Amber are the only two colors options as of now.
Why won't it work with the base model?
If the base model doesn't have factory turn signals on the side mirrors then that's probably why.
You can run wires and hook it up as the same wire that hooks ups to turn signal in headlight hooked up to the mirror
Like others said you could fish wires and make it work but its not plug and play
Man, someone is going to damage their paint by accident! Better use something to cover that door panel!
