- I'm crazy. I never expected to get this time. I just wanted a sub30 and I even beat the previous Babylon Story World Record on this All Stories run!
I have had very bad experiences trying Babylon Story: RNG and infinite loads. For Babylon Story you have very few attempts: you need to complete Heroes or Babylon Story again to try again (when you finish Night Chase). The infinite loads has ruined me the possibility of a 15.2X, for example. So I'm happy to finally have a decent Babylon Story and even more so that it's in my All Stories!
I am happy that I was able to do the new Sky Road Jump Skip! I have consistency doing it, but I never know when it will fail miserably. For that reason, I was very nervous on the Sky Road pauses (I was craped).
Possibly try Heroes and Babylon Stories again separately. I want a 15.2X on Babylon Story and a 13.2X on Heroes Story. I don't plan on trying to beat Sewer in Heroes, I'm not a masochist (and I don't know how to do his Splash Canyon glitch, that's my biggest impediment).

Really wish they would release a remake with proper online multiplayer...one of the best racing games out there!
And it was sadly overshadowed by Sonic 06. That’s another reason this game didn’t become a sub-franchise.

AAAAAA finally I got to see a full speedrun of both stories. This was honestly so satisfying to watch, especially the "Sky Road" course. I got pretty mind blown as well LMAO. Great job! Can't wait to see more of your speedruns!

In the auto section, if you press right and left at the same time using keyboard on PC (only works with keyboard), you can reach the maximum possible speed. That is an advantage of the keyboard and the reason why the best times use it. Thanks for your subscription!

Impressive as always! Can you help me out here: I just can't seem to figure out the green cave skip at the first jump. I've seen you and others do it a lot during story speedruns, but I go flying forward so much. Even doing backflips doesn't seem to work.

To do it you need to jump as soon as possible on the ramp (you fail if you do it at the end) and do a maximum of 2 tricks. I do 1 because is safer. Later you have to go left enough to skip but not too far so as not to fall off the track.
visual queue is the 2nd to last arrow before the ramp on the left side, and if you don't , do an extra stutter drift to the left. And also imo at least doing 1 trick is unsafe cause you go like, way way slower, so you die easier. - just another pov

the only way to get up there is by tricking off of the turbulence on racers ahead of you, it's impossible to get up there in 1st place
edit: at 24:19 the same thing has to be done to get above the Dark Desert cave section here for a shortcut and a 100 ring capsule (which is what Sonic did here), the arrows will let you know if its possible to get into an above section if they turn rainbow colour
Sorry but, what's an "LRG keyboard"? I tried searching but found nothing.
LRG means "Lap Respawn Glitch", which is a glitch that skips a complete lap. This is No LRG because I don't use it, but I have videos using it. Keyboard is because I use a keyboard to play, not a controller/joystick

Ohh la wea brígida. Este juego es completamente mi infancia y me alegra mucho ver que hagan skips con harto trabajo por detrás y que tengan buen manejo del juego. Me sorprendió mucho ver que eres Chileno jaja, muy bacán el Speedrun, espero algún día poder igualar la skill

Duda bro, ¿Cómo ó qué haces para cargar rápido la barra de gas cuando estas en time off?

@@xxshadowcorexx6621 eso es porque uso teclado. En la versión de PC, usando teclado, consigues máxima velocidad al pulsar derecha e izquierda a la vez. En cambio, si usas control/joystick, solo puedes alcanzar un límite mucho menor. Es por esa razón que el teclado es la forma más óptima de jugarlo

Increible! Cuales serían las cosas basicas del speedrun en Riders? porque cada vez que intento hacer un speedrun siempre me choco con cosas y la tabla se queda sin energia
Asumiendo que sabes conseguir la cápsula de los 100 rings (en los mapas necesarios) y conoces el recorrido óptimo (eligiendo el que más te acomode, porque existen algunos más seguros que otros), lo más importante básico para ser un buen speedrunner es dominar bien el control horizontal del personaje, es decir, no chocar con los lados.
En este caso, es imprescindible que te acostumbres a usar los botones de drift (L y/o R). Con suficiente práctica, serás capaz de controlar perfectamente cuánto quieres que el personaje doble. Un error común de novato es no usarlos lo suficiente, ocasionando que agarres mal las curvas o no puedas hacer saltos precisos por no estar alineado antes del salto.
Con respecto al control del boost, debes acostumbrarte a mirar constantemente el medidor (siendo más pro lo sabrás por lógica y ni necesitarás mirarlo) y aplicar sentido común, solo usarlo cuando es necesario. Sin embargo, es muy bueno que pruebes usarlo lo más que puedas, ya que un error de novato es no usarlo cuando sí es posible hacerlo. Ahora, si te pasas y quedas sin aire, debes analizar por qué pasó eso.
Esas son las cosas más básicas que debe saber un speedrunner de Riders. Ambas son muy importantes, aunque diría que lo del drift lo es más. Cualquier pregunta me la haces con confianza!

man i played this game on my ps2 when i was small and now i am playing it on the pcsx2 emulator,but for a speedrun never knew so many shortcuts ok besides the splash canyon one i tried and failed and on the green cave it is logical to skip down lol but i never tried it i am just at 6:53 and lets see waht happends :))

smash me podrias explicar que significan las siglas LRG en los speedruns de sonic riders? de paso no ultra
LRG (Lap Respawn Glitch) es un glitch muy roto que permite completar una vuelta en aprox menos de 10 segundos haciendo respawn. En No LRG se permiten todos los glitches menos ese Y en No Ultra, existe una lista de glitches que no se permiten, para que la categoría no tenga muchos
