I’m glad I found your channel I just got a new bow after ten years and got the lift 33 and I have been so up and down about staying with rage or fixed and I saw the iron wills online and look awesome but now I can say I’m buying them and you have a new follower oh yeah I love the name of your channel 🍻💯🇺🇸
I'm glad I stumbled across your channel. I'm digging the honest review. As far as getting heavier broad heads..you can always increase your insert/halfout/outsert weight. Keep up the solid content 💪
I guess there's a difference between a spine with a crossbow bolt and your compound arrow,, on my hunting setup I'm at 550 and 525 grains including a 150 grain broadhead,, My competition set up is 525 grains including a 150 grain field point,, all 3 bolts are 300 spine,, 3 different crossbows,, KILLER INSTINCT BOSS 405,, KILLER INSTINCT FATAL-X and MATHAEWS MISSION SUB 1-XR
Really good video and content. Again! I do like testing my hunting arrows to 60, which is about my limit. But I don't shoot deer or hogs more than 35 max. Coyotes I will sling arrow at about any distance. My broadheads of choice for three or four years now is the Magnus Black Hornet 125 grain and a 50 grain brass insert. They are guaranteed too. I've hit front leg bone in a deer and busted right through it. Now , I'm 72 years old and only pull 58-60 pounds at 27 1/2"s on a Ritual 33.
Real nice shooting. Miss that range, lots of characters. Looks like you been at awhile, your form is solid! I'm getting back into hunting, and am going through all my old broad heads to make sure they perform as intended, if I do my part, lol. Might try me some of those fancy Iron will tips. Easy Sub!
Awesome video! Love my Iron Will Wides in 125 grains. They’re definitely one of the sharpest, toughest and deadliest heads on the market. I’ve sent one through a Rinehart 18-1 target 25 times and a Morrell High Roller target 9 times and it still shaves hair! As you stated buy once cry once.
With 12,000 views u got over 3K. Congrats man 👏. I've heard others now use high proprietary steel as buzzwords for items that aren't even real. With high proprietary materials like tool steel u also need high tolerances. I live & hunt the same area that the DIY Sportsman does but on different properties. He has a great Iron Will/Valkyrie video since his wife uses the Bloodsport style Valkyrie. I use the Viking Centerpin system so my Jag short heads & field points r the same thread pattern as well as my field points with the high tolerances. Your video was one of the best 20 minute videos that actually seemed more like 12. 👍 Your shooting I usually do but @ home. I have a backstop then in front of that I place a stand. Then I take my 2 SEVR 21" blocks & attach them to the stand with a ratchet strap. I finish the setup with a 3/4" white strip of electrical tape from top to bottom down. I usually run 3 strips so I'm not shooting sharp heads together. My concern is straight on the tape. Distance is just judging. I've setup 2 different arrows that r very similar. Just testing for accuracy & durability. Great editing & keep it @ 💯. 👌
I shot a cow moose with 100 grain solid this past fall, it smashed threw ribs and was still razor sharp! It’s hard to bite the bullet buying them but once you do you won’t want anything else. Love your channel keep up the great content!
I bought once and returned them. was not overly impressed. had one fail miserably and the other had the tip bend.. yup they hit something hard after going thru my block Target into the diet behind it. was not.impressed sent them all back.
1st time seeing anyone of your videos and it is definitely an honor to subscribe to your page,, I am a bow hunter as well but my weapon of choice is the crossbow,, I'm also just now entering ASA competition with the crossbow,, Mission Sub 1XR
Nice video brother. Glad to see you using the fixed blade and proving it out to 80 yards. If your gear is tuned, it should not be an issue. I do not shoot mechanicals. Not going to risk a bonk on the little time I have to hunt. My broadhead is a 200-grain single bevel. I am subscribed to your channel. Not many of our people out here bow hunting. Blessings.
If you’re a bowhunter, we are all your people my man!!! So glad to find a video of someone actually shooting and proving a fixed blades flight at distance!!
Bow hunters are definitely all one people. I believe bro is just saying that he wishes more folks from the African American community bow hunted, because bow hunting is awesome, and the bow hunting community is awesome.🤙🏿
I like this guy and I love that he’s a Christian! The only other family friendly show is Micheal Waddell Bone 🦴 Collector! Love the scripture in the show keep it up the world needs it!!!!
If you are 31.25” draw length, are you using the 30.5” mods or 31”? I’m thinking probably 30.5” since you also have the cables tightened a bit to get 80lbs. My v3x measures just over 31” with 30.5” mods.
Archers Advantage is a good starting point. I mess around with different weights shooting through paper and I shoot groups with different weight setups to tell which arrow weight combinations group best.
I just ordered the Iron Will 225 grain, right hand, single bevel with bleeder blades. The steel they make the blades from is very tough to beat and they ship them shaving sharp, not much work with a strop to make them scary
@@PrivilegedBowhunter My friend shoots your draw weight and legnth with an old Mathews Monster, he shoots a 250 spine arrow up to 900 grain all day. If you insert tune, shoot them bare shaft at paper and knock tune, you should be able to shoot much heavier heads with a 260 spine. Don't be afraid of the heavy loads lol, I'm starting to love them. At distances over 50 yards is where they really start to shine. My 595 grain arrow with 21% F.O.C had more forward momentum at 60 yards than my 388 grain arrow with 12% F.O.C had at the bow shooting through a radar. Thanks for the videos, God Bless
I bought the 100 grain x for $244=6 only to buy the wides for another $244 and I've been so impressed at the 3 deer I took with them I could have shot another deer with all three they are that sharp but when you sharpen them with a stay Sharp roller and a diamond sharpening plates you can get them even sharper than they come from the factory Igo 800-1200 2500-3000 on my sharpening plates the stay sharp was around twenty bucks and the diamond plates were 40
Killing it brother!! Iron Will are top quality I have shot the 125gr Solids for a bit super sharp out the box!! Gonna try some Cutthroats this year but them Ironwills are phenomenal!
having a 31" draw he needs to typically go stiffer on the spine chart ,hence the 260 Easton arrows, those weigh 11.5gpi add on standard inserts and fletching/creating he is likley sitting at 500-540 grains for an arrow. he also likes to shoot long. inorder to get that arrow to have the ability to shoot out to 100yds and have clearance on his sight housing he needs a heavier draw weight to get higher speed. besides that, some of us like to shoot heavier bows, and have the strength to handle it,.myself I shoot 90lbs bows with 600grain arrows and can reach out to 140 yds and shoot fairly accurately.
Still waiting to do my 1st hog hunt,, just have been unable to find a private spot where I can feel comfortable to do so,, I am from Georgia born and raised,,
Welp...ya'll got this video to 10k views so, 120 yard Iron Will Wide group COMING SOON🤙🏿

Appreciate the honest info on the broadheads
Had ran into one of your videos months back but forgot to subscribe. Sure glad I found your page, keep up the great work and attention to detail.
Love your videos. Informative, calming. Lol. Thanks for posting.
First time someone had called my videos "calming" lol
Been shooting thorn broad heads for the last couple years. Thanks for the video, I always thought fixed where harder to tune.
Great demo, thank you.
🙌🏿
Great vids. Excellent content! Keep up the good work! Thank you!
Thanks bud🤙🏿
thats a great shooting bro !
Nice shooting, looks a lot like where I live (Southern Oregon), obviously not but very similar landscape. Ty for the content!!
I am glad I found your channel today. Subscribed. I shoot the same head and love to see the accuracy. Thanks for the content!
Thanks for subscribing🙌🏿
Just came across your videos. Top notch young man!

Thanks for watching, my problem is that I'm already borderline under spined and an increase in point weight will make me legitimately underspined.

wow he mentioned earlier he wished they made a 125 , awesome !
You just proved these are 80 yard broad heads! Elk shape and everyone else is afraid to shoot these out that far.
so good

Hey jw if you noticed you bring your head down slightly to see them your peep? Maybe it’s the angle but figured I’d throw my 2cents out there 👍🏼
Great shooting!
Thanks bud🤙🏿
Which Tac vane do you shoot? Do you shoot a 2 degree offset? That 3 vane configuration does a great job with that fixed blade broadhead.
You still shooting a Mathew’s
If yes how do yo like running the limb insert quite rd with it
I’ve got an older TRIAX
Does it help ?
I shoot the 150 SB with bleeders. The things are nasty. What bino harness is that?
Awesome video.what bino harness is that ? Love how you living bro..

Who did you find out the information about the spine from I would really like to know
Archers Advantage is a good starting point. I mess around with different weights shooting through paper and I shoot groups with different weight setups to tell which arrow weight combinations group best.
Hey man whats your draw length and arrow length carbon to Carbon? I'm 31 and running 30in arrows but wanna go smaller
I'm 31 1/4" draw and arrows are 29 3/4"

I just ordered the Iron Will 225 grain, right hand, single bevel with bleeder blades. The steel they make the blades from is very tough to beat and they ship them shaving sharp, not much work with a strop to make them scary

I love iron will
You have to bump it up and go 150 with the solid
Hey man, could you do a sharpening video on this broadhead? They look like a total ball ache to sharpen.
Yes sir coming soon
Hey privileged do you ever consider switching to some side plates?
I've never tried them, but definitely interested
Have you looked at VPA or Tuffhead?
I've shot the VPA, I'm a fan🤙🏿
Are you maxed out on spine on your arrows? Why are you shooting 80+ lbs?
having a 31" draw he needs to typically go stiffer on the spine chart ,hence the 260 Easton arrows, those weigh 11.5gpi add on standard inserts and fletching/creating he is likley sitting at 500-540 grains for an arrow. he also likes to shoot long. inorder to get that arrow to have the ability to shoot out to 100yds and have clearance on his sight housing he needs a heavier draw weight to get higher speed.

If you’re in Hawaii Andre might be able to help. If you’re in Georgia then I heard good stuff about Bond Swamp or the Benning/Stewart area.
