This was back when lowriding was at it's peak. The shows were so huge that they toured a circuit around the globe every year.It would host different cities every month for half of the year across the country to sold out shows.Lowrider Magazine would pick the year's top 5 cars and take them on a tour to every city as part of their show for fans to see these works of art in person. The show included a concert of some big name artists like: Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, David Banner and more. That tour would have at least 20 to 25 cities every year.It has now been reduced to 3-4 stops a year.Business fell off for the magazine as well as car show attendance.
@@outdoorsjoe definitely great memories my friend...👍 I just can't believe how long ago that time was🤗 I still would like a own a mini truck with a dancing bed one day. Not many lowriders left, I remember back in the day you could atleast see a few running around. But it's making a comeback.💯✊
Ty for uploading this masterpiece of a clip...I subscribed. Hope to see more uploads like this. Makes me want to pull out my old orlies, lowrider and street customs magazines 👍
Ahh the 90s. Riding around in my Menace II society mustang convertible. 100 spoke triple gold wires. All the mini trucks. Geo trackers. Isuzu amigos. We had some cool ass rides. 2 SPL 15s instead of back seat with a RF power 1000 , chrome case of course lol. Then we went wild in the outlaw SPL game around east coast.
My "hotrod" now, ive thought for years would bring $$$ on west coast. Sold my 86 monte ss, now i have a 100% mint 85 regal limited. Interior is perfect, blue pillow top power seats. 80k original miles. Not a spot of surface rust. Now its in primer with a TT ls getting ready to go into it. Building a grand national plus about 1000 crank hp though. The way a GN would be made today.
Yes I remember the beginning of the lowrider and hydraulics hydraulic pumps for disappearing off commercial trucks and batteries commercial batteries I believe that was a late 70s early 80s

It's a DVD called LOWRIDER History of Hydraulics. It's from 2008. I got it at a store years ago. I just looked on eBay and there's a few copies listed on there.
Anyone know the name of a Lowrider video that was out around 1992ish. Grew up watching it but can’t remember the name of it to try to find it again. It had a big lowrider show that was in California I think. Had bed dancing and hopping as well. I actually thought it was called low rider but when I look that up there’s so many choices
Amazing what these guys could create. If they would have focused on the future, they could have been creating robots and been owners of mega billion dollar industries.
@@greenbassboosts8872 😊 I used to think like that until I met some very wealthy self made millionaires and guess what. They are the most selfless people and give back millions of dollars to the community and some will even take their shirts off their backs and give it to you. Having $ and being wealthy are two different things.
Same here.. actually have still pictures of the white, bed splitting truck. Was there in the pit for the car dancing and hop. Delegation cc. Great times back then.
Son: why can't we move out of the ghetto? Dad: we don't have money Son: but you spent 20k turning a classic car into a piece of crap that can bounce off the ground.

That's right! Glad you enjoyed it.
Same here.
Same...lol. Glad they did, i forgot about this shit. Fuckin classic 😆
I remember drawing these trucks in middle school lol... these were like transformers in a way. It's amazing for it's time.
Funny you mention that. My grandma recently found a picture of one I drew when I was much younger. Brought back memories.

This was before the internet, so we all had to imagine how they actually performed! Needless to say, there was substantial hype.
Same as me I would draw trucks with beds in the air on top of my crayon box, the real good old times
Like amusement park rides so cool 90s era was dope

Fans: how do you do that?
Dude on the switches: “Down forward lowpunch”
These are so damn cool. The engineering behind them is seems really hard. I build these from time to time in 1/64 scale.
Wow. I’ve been the boxes come up and thought that was about all that was done. I was wrong they have passed what I thought was possible.
My brother brought me up on this. There was a Lowrider game even.
I have the one on PS2. It's pretty good!
@@outdoorsjoe exactly, that one. Takes me back. ✌
Yes I remember the beginning of the lowrider and hydraulics hydraulic pumps for disappearing off commercial trucks and batteries commercial batteries I believe that was a late 70s early 80s
Damn, back then I only got to see this in Lowrider Magazine. Still pictures didn't do it justice! Then I out grew it by 1990.
I still own a 2001 Nissan stock mini truck in great shape. I'll never outgrow it.
Can we sit in the box while it spins
Outdoor Joe br like, Why the hell is my vhs copied video that i uploaded 6 years ago finally seeing some action

Not everyone is focused on becoming wildly rich and fucking over the poor like an American capitalist
