You attempted this terrain on a seat height that was way too big for you, on a bike that had a lot of unfavourable issues, to begin with. Congratulations on completing this terrain. Haters are going to hate anyway. The ones who've experienced similar issues will appreciate. Keep up the good work!

Not trying to criticize here but genuinely trying to understand what do you mean by "unfavourable issues". I did a offroad trail for the first time recently and I was just amazed by how i can ride over these roads with the 390 adventure. So basically I am trying to understand what all issues I can expect here

Well people have to realise that this so called adventure bike is not for off-road. Its only for mild off-road and highways. The real off-road bikes are like Honda CRF250, Crossfire 250 series and even Hero X Pulse 200. Don't ruin your bike for which it's not made for.
This is a gimmicky adventure bike. CRF250L should be launched here in India but unfortunately Honda is busy making scooters

@@Explorer_indy89 true. CRF line-up of bikes from Honda are absolutely best in off-roads. People may even argue that 390 Adventure is better because it looks great and has so many features but all those features are not going to ne useful in rough terrains. Also weight makes a lot of difference. An off-road bike shouldn't weigh more than 140kg. Also the chassis should be totally different from a sport bike. Suspensions play equally big role. And last but not the least the tyres must be studded tyres with spoke wheels. Giving traction control, cornering abs, big sporty tyres etc won't matter in actual off-road conditions. With there so much of Indian riders preferring adventure and off-road rides, companies should seriously consider bringing their real adventure bikes not some rebranded streetbikes with taller seat height and raised handlebar.

yeah you are exactly right, it doesn't have a low end torque like RE Himalayan. RE Himalayan isn't as quick as this bike but whats the use of so much speed when you can't even use it in the lower end.
I was expecting so much from this ADV but its not up to that mark. sadly disappointed.

The bike is turning off too often My CBR 250 would do that easier than that with torque .. Not cribbing but I was seriously contemplating buying this bike but this video is giving me second thoughts.

I'm not being arrogant but in Nepal we people face this type of terrain every day,even in rainy season we have to ride our motorcycle in this type of offroad.

Don't worry about the "nay" sayers. It's very easy sitting in the comfort of you home and say this is easy/why not do it this way/that & another when they themselves are faced with it. That's not the seat height or the terrain or the MTC that's the issue. The 390 adv has really bad gearing and mapping for such kind of offroading, no low end torque and the bike goes into stall easily
We deal with such roads in uttrakhand.. my 220 works well...

The great thing about bulu bhai is ....he uses physics and logic during off-roading. Great going big brother you are a proper motorcyclist and a biker. The best part is when he tells Raghav to use his weight to get the traction.

Have heard something called ktm dongle, it remembers ur traction control and abs setting even after power off. Check it out if u can get that thing on ur bike. Gote video re dekhithili jane kahuthila.

What Vikas Rachmalla said was right, This bike doesn't have good low end torque which is why it was stalling and struggling. KTM should have tweaked with that to make this a true adventure bike, in deed rather than in name

Wow! It is not that steep..still KTM Adv struggle due to that low end torgue everyone talks about. When it needs to pulled at low rpm the bike stalled. Imagine it on a rainy season.

Why do I feel that everyone is missing a very important yet simple point here? Tyres did not help gain traction at all in tensed conditions, even with some good weight the Bike has. Just not the right pair of tyres for such conditions I would say. KTM should have thought about it that people would take their bikes on such roads where these tyres would make them feel useless, as I felt watching this Video.
Keeping it aside, Your Videos are as always great. One can always see the hard work you put in making them. Genuine, straight forward and to the point content is what I love about your videos. I own an Xpulse and it could have cleared the terrain just like you say it, "Makkhan" ;). I;ve been following you since then.
