I just got my 2023 112. End of year and veteran discount paid tge sales tax. Folks, this bike is p erfect for 68 year old has been. Its a nasty little thing. No its not just for 14 yr olds. And I don't need a ladder to get on it or a crane to pick it up. Kawisake RULES. AND SAVED THE BEST 2 STROKE FOR LAST!!!

Ya these things put down some pretty good power, and are extremely light weight. Good to hear your still riding at 68, I can only hope I'll be that lucky.

Me, at 54, picked up the same bike with the same discount yesterday. It's not even broken in yet but still feels more "fun" than the cr125 I had 30 years ago.

That bike if properly jetted will stand up with just throttle into 4th gear. Itll do 110 kms an hour in high gear.

How does the spark plug burn ? alot of these 112's sound kinda lean bogie. you said it was rich. maybe a different taper'd needle. or whole new carb. they look pretty sick

Ya it was very rich, lots of black goo always running down the exhaust. The float height was so high that straight gasoline would pour into the cylinder on steep downhills and kill the engine. Lowering the float height solved all my issues

What’s your gas mix ratio? Are you going with what’s recommended? I feel like mine runs better with 3 Oz of oil per gallon of gas instead of 4.

We always run 32:1 at the minimum, and run the machines as rich as possible. They do run better with less oil and a leaner A/F mixture, but it also cuts engine life significantly. I'll take slightly lower power and a few fouled plugs over an engine rebuild and day.

Adjust your jetting not your feul oil mix ratio.

What’s your height and weight? Do you have no problem with power on trails like going up hills

I'm about 5'2" and 125 lbs. Absolutely no issues power wise, it's a beast. Makes about 30 hp at the crank and weighs about 170lbs, really good power to weight ratio, especially with a light rider. The small wheels make it work quite a bit harder in the sand than a full size bike.

      I’m 5’6 at 155lbs
Check out my videos. I go up a lot of hills. I’m still a beginner so if you’re a good rider, should be no problem going up hills.
