A 112 is a bored and stroked 85. You can bore a 85 and now it’s a 100. you can stroke it and it’ll be the same as a 112. I literally rebuilt a kx85 that had a 112 crank in it they’re all just a 85 with a bore or stroker kit so it’s best to get a 85 and build on it. If you want faster get a 125 and stroke it. They aren’t very good at low end power
I would not recommend an 85 for beginners 😂 unless your talking beginners into stunting. The power band snaps so fast most peoples clutch hand and foot aren’t fast enough to hit the brake.
@@Bigpeso32 grown folks is worse because your center of gravity raises the taller you are then you gotta sit back farther making it even more wheelie prone. I lowered the footpegs and raised the bars on my kx100 and it made a world of difference.
Hey buddy it depends if you want to do motocross or fun on the track because if you want motocross you would have to change transmission oil every 10 hours and change you air filter every ride and premix fuel but if you want to just cruise and hit small jumps or just cruising you change your transmission oil every 3-12 months depends and with air filter change it every 3 months to a year❤ hope this helps
No, Honda bikes are just too heavy. They’re reliable asf, but honestly you want a lightweight bike, especially for trails. If I were you I would get a yz 125 or a KTM 150 sx
hey im 5 foot 11 or 5 foot 12 and i dont know how big the 112 is but should i get a 112 or 110 bec im 11 im not a beginner im been riding for 4 years and i wanna know which one i should get for netherlands trails
Duh you are going to like the kx112 because your taller if you put like a 12 year old on both the bikes they would prefer the 85 it matters on height so don’t say the kx112 is better

Got a kx 112 and low key scared at times to wheelie
It has a lot of power
not really considering a yz125 makes 10 more hp and is only 13cc more. But yea the powerband can be scary sometimes.
If you’re scared of the power you should get a crf150r they do power wheelies:) I think it’s worse:)
@@initial3615yeah but the yz 125 is nearly 2000 usd more
Lol I have the kx112 also and I know what you mean!!!😂😂😂😂

@@houstonhowell3618nahh that made perfect sense bro.. he clearly has never ridden a 2 strokw before 😂

You also gotta remember that you’ve had the 112 for way longer and you’re more use to it unlike the 85
But its also bigger which fits him better in every way
what do i have to do for maintanance on a kx85?

You can adjust the forks and preload without hurting performance
Are you freaking crazy dude a a112 is just the big wheel of an 85
Yea and it has a lot more power
Yeah probably because of your weight and height. The comfort level on your dirtbike is based on stuff like that. 😅
