- Updated exhaust video of my exhaust setup on my 2009 Camry. It's a 2.4l 4-cylinder 2AZ-FE with custom Unequal length headers made by Inferno Fabrications and a custom exhaust. Has the stock catalytic converter, stock resonator, high flow secondary catalytic converter, and vibrant street power muffler. The car is still on factory tune and I don't plan on tuning or flashing the ECU. All footage shown is CGI-generated.

Literally any 2.0 and 2.5 motors can with UEL headers. Even civics with 1.7 can with uel headers.

They no longer have stock uel headers on the newer wrx’s so they sound like rice burners now

But I’d still go for the traditional subie rumble sound from UEL header

That’s exactly what I love to hear!!!😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤 but since the original oem exhaust of my 2015 Scion xB have. It’s only one cat, one resonator, and one muffler. To keep more proper volume but more performance. I’m gonna get a full custom 2.5” exhausts. For 150 hp - 200 hp, the back pressure will create much more mature for from 2”-2.5” exhausts.
So I will get that UEL header from inferno fabrication, to 2.5” down pipe while they will welded the 2.5” magnaflow high flow cat, to the 2.5” vibrant ultra quiet resonator, to the rest of the 2.5” side pipe with no muffler. That’s gonna sound beautiful.

@@jaspab2348 the guys from inferno fabrications makes them for 2002-2006 Toyota Camry and solara with the same 2.4L 2AZ-FE.
They will fit on ours. Almost directly.
The difference is the end of the bottom of the UEL header. They have a flat type flange. And ours have a cup type lookin flange.
Just cut that piece off and replace with a flat flange, or just weld then together and ur set.
However the price is not cheap. It’s $725 a piece

@@tonycantrustnun I paid I think $350 plus a factory header from a wrecked Camry that was $100. So about $450 if I remember correctly in 2018. Think the price of metal is up now but 3k sounds way overpriced.

If you still have this, I have a 2AZ Rav4 which I've been building for light off-roading. After the custom headers, did you get an O2 Code for sensor 1 bank 1? looking to hit up the same people you did and get this done if not.
I got a check engine light shortly after the catless header. I didn't have a scanner at the time so I didn't check what the code was for but I figured it was for the catless header. I got an O2 sensor defouler after that and it went away within 100 miles.

Those UEL headers that’s made for 2002-2006 Toyota Camry and solara, was made by inferno fabrications. It’s a catless UEL. Price was $580. Now its $685.

Did it add power or reduce power to your car? Was there a noticeable difference apart from sound!
Nothing I could feel but sometimes the car feels kinda torqy at low speeds. It might be interesting to have it dynoed and see if it makes more or less now
Are you able to fab some that fit a 2013 2.5L Camry? not hybrid. It would still need to pass emissions as far as cat and CEL.

I want to do this to my "13.5 XLE with the 2AR but I'm just a bit concerned about emissions living in California. Were any codes set after the install, and what makes the most effect on noise, the headers, the secondary cat or the muffler?
Yea I got a code at first so I used a sensor defouler to make it go away. If you get a catted header I don't think you will have that problem
i have a 2009 camry xle as well and im looking to do this, will the part linked below fit my car 2.4L even though it says its only for 02-06? or did you need to fabricate mounting for it?
Yea not sure why they listed it for those years but mine is the same year as yours. Mine was the first one they ever made so maybe they got confused. It sits close to the alternator but it doesn't contact. The bottom side where it connects to the exhaust I believe needs a gasket because the stock one is weird. I took mine to a muffler shop to fix that.

Yea if you get catless headers you will get a check engine light. I got one at first so I bought an o2 sensor spacer and eventually my check engine light went away.

This header is made for the 2.4. I think the 2010 uses the 2.5 liter so it might not fit but I don't know for sure.

Yes I do, I don't post the camry much cause its my daily but I have one. And I don't remember how much the install was honesly. I would guess it was probably around $100? I'm not 100% sure

@@toyotabrony Assuming it's the same as my car, I needed some kinda of a gasket made for mine cause the stock gasket is a little weird. I just took it to a muffler shop for the gasket.

I think the bottom part requires slight modification because the gasket. I took it to a muffler shop and they got it done.

Always, when starting in the morning or even when taken away do you know what causes it?
Check ur throttle body and see if it needs to clean, clean ur mass airflow sensor, clean ur fuel filter, change the spark plugs, change ur oil filter and air filter, and change ur oem headers.

Easiest way is to keep an eye on the oil levels. I usually have to add a little towards the end of my oil change interval
I changed the PCV valve on mine a couple years ago and that seemed to help a lot

Did it affect perfomance in any way ?
To be honest it's hard to say. Still feels responsive and peppy but I don't think it added any real horsepower. I got them for the sound. Plus it's still on factory tune so maybe a tune would add a little.
Unequal length will hinder performance. Thats why high hp subies/boxers use equal length, better flow.

Not really. The exhaust note sounds flawless. And it’s not just the exhaust that’s making that rumble noise, it’s actually UEL (un-equal length) header. That’s what makes it subie sound.
So it’s not even awful. It sounds badass af.
