Hello, Welcome to my channel. I don't make many videos but I would like to change that soon.
I made my Camry sound like a Subaru (UEL Headers)
Updated exhaust video of my exhaust setup on my 2009 Camry. It's a 2.4l 4-cylinder 2AZ-FE with custom Unequal length headers made by Inferno Fabrications and a custom exhaust. Has the stock catalytic converter, stock resonator, high flow secondary catalytic converter, and vibrant street power muffler. The car is still on factory tune and I don't plan on tuning or flashing the ECU. All footage shown is CGI-generated.

2009 Camry Bad Alternator Whine
มุมมอง 38K7 ปีที่แล้ว
I hope this helps anyone who has a similar problem. I wanted to show what a bad alternator sounds like if anyone was trying to diagnose the problem with their car. I replaced the alternator after I took this footage. This is a 2009 Toyota Camry LE 2.4l 4 cylinder.
Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Test (BattleBlock Theater)
มุมมอง 1.3K9 ปีที่แล้ว
A short test of the upcoming backwards compatibility feature coming to Xbox One.
Can you please tell me what Brand of header you installed. And the name of the muffler you got, and the exhaust set up. I've been trying to get my Camry to sound like a Subaru.
Close, but not quite.
Is this catless or not?
Has a stock cat and then secondary high flow
What is cgi generated?
Did it add power or reduce power to your car? Was there a noticeable difference apart from sound!
Nothing I could feel but sometimes the car feels kinda torqy at low speeds. It might be interesting to have it dynoed and see if it makes more or less now
so strange
Mine sounds just like it, thanks boss, will update if it ends up being the issue
I've been waiting for mine for over a year. all that money wasted lmao, I should've got that custom made instead
From inferno fab or where?
@@SteelEagle yep directly from the guy who makes em
Damn, I'm sorry to hear. Mine took like 5 months but I assumed that was cause I was the first he ever made @@kuronx_8686
with the almost dead battery it sounds like a flat 4 when cranking lol
Toyobaru
isn’t this laredo
No it’s a camry
@@toyotabrony shhhh
CGI Laredo yes
@@getrightgianni bite me lol
This helped me ID the problem on mine. THANK YOU.
I can't wait to do this to my poopy e46.. little 2.5 not so fast turd!! Lol 5speed awd comfy n fun !!
If you still have this, I have a 2AZ Rav4 which I've been building for light off-roading. After the custom headers, did you get an O2 Code for sensor 1 bank 1? looking to hit up the same people you did and get this done if not.
I got a check engine light shortly after the catless header. I didn't have a scanner at the time so I didn't check what the code was for but I figured it was for the catless header. I got an O2 sensor defouler after that and it went away within 100 miles.
same problem I face in my camry 2007 what should I do it make a noise and something burning smell
this is sorcery
Nah. This is genius
Anyway to tell if ur 2az is burning oil?
Easiest way is to keep an eye on the oil levels. I usually have to add a little towards the end of my oil change interval
I changed the PCV valve on mine a couple years ago and that seemed to help a lot
I heard an Elantra with UELs once and thought it was a Subaru driving by at first
I saw that one on the Internet years ago and it inspired me to do this
I’m disappointed in the lack of Toyota limiter
Are you able to fab some that fit a 2013 2.5L Camry? not hybrid. It would still need to pass emissions as far as cat and CEL.
Sounds like a hellcat 🤣
Bro i wouldve never thought i would find city in a random video
I like it. I am so bored with flat-crank 4 cyl. sounds...
my GS350 just started making a noise exactly like this, good to know that's just what a bad Denso alternator sounds like lol. tricky because it almost blends in with the normal 2GR whine
Well l think I’m fucked my Toyota Camry with 233k miles killed my alternator l don’t know why and l replaced it like 2 months ago any suggestions
I want to do this to my "13.5 XLE with the 2AR but I'm just a bit concerned about emissions living in California. Were any codes set after the install, and what makes the most effect on noise, the headers, the secondary cat or the muffler?
Yea I got a code at first so I used a sensor defouler to make it go away. If you get a catted header I don't think you will have that problem
But you have an inline 4 cyl! I have a Subaru pushing 350whp, and I HATE the way it sounds, I just tolerate because it is fast and I got a good deal on a used set of UEL headers. Why in the world would anyone want to make a Toyota sound like a janky-ass boxer??? That's not cool...
Because it is my car and I like the sound :)
@@SteelEagle well at least someone does lol. Haha, how much power do you lose with that setup? To go through all that effort to sound like Subaru ass, at least make it sound like a v8 or straight 6 or something. Jeez if only I could afford a set of Equal length headers for my Subaru I would in a heartbeat.
-50hp per cylinder. If im lucky i make 92hp to the valve stems
Who cares dude. No need to blow ur head gasket up. Incase u didn’t know. We even have the first gen Scion tC wirh oem UEL header and even 2nd gen Toyota Tacoma as well with a 2.7L with also a oem UEL header. Why? Because it sounds pretty rad. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
@@SteelEagleur Camry does not make 92. Ur oldie but a goodie is 158 hp and 162 iB pound feet of torque. So it’s plenty
If you get the cat removed will the cops come and execute you ?
Lmao, no but it smelled stinky, sounded louder and more raspy when I only had one cat.
Let me know if you wanna sell it
The car or the headers? lol
The header itself
@@drewstanley3298 Ah okay, have no plans on selling. I have a link to the fabricators website in the description. Mine was the first one they made and now they sell it as a product.
My world almost collapsed
Brooooo I want my Camry sound like this too how I Can communicating whit you ?
Look up inferno fabrications. They sell UEL (un-equal length l) header for $690.
@@toyotabronythanks bro
@@leenaeyon9632 ur welcome 🤟🏼
Hey bro, i’m planning on buying these headers but wanted to know if it throws a CEL or if it runs lean or anything? Appreciate it!
Yea if you get catless headers you will get a check engine light. I got one at first so I bought an o2 sensor spacer and eventually my check engine light went away.
How is it still going right now
Going good. Had the headers for about 5 years now. No issues that I'm aware of
@@SteelEaglethat’s a solid 5 years ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
They should make a manifold for the ford bronco 2.3 to sound like this 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Tell me exactly what you did... right now!
He basically change from oem header that’s got equal length, to un-equal length header. That’s what it creates rumble sound.
@@toyotabrony that rumble sound is worth at least $400 for sure
I have a 2011 I want to buy a header but it’s damm near impossible to find can anyone help?
They are from inferno fabrications. Look up on their website. It’s $700+ per piece
That same noise just started on my Camry . Only 95k miles, what’s the 100k service updates. Thanks
the link says 2002-2006 but these can fit on a 2.4l 2010 camry?
sorry i meant to ask if they can fit on a 2.5l 2010 camry
@@Antsnation I'm not sure, I think it's slightly different.
Somebody please do this to a V6 Camry lol
@BananaBoy hey do u have IG by any chance? And I was wondering, how much did u get ur full header back exhaust installed?
Yes I do, I don't post the camry much cause its my daily but I have one. And I don't remember how much the install was honesly. I would guess it was probably around $100? I'm not 100% sure instagram.com/bana.naboy/
@@SteelEagle $100?? Just for the installation? It’s just bolt-ons?
@@toyotabrony Assuming it's the same as my car, I needed some kinda of a gasket made for mine cause the stock gasket is a little weird. I just took it to a muffler shop for the gasket.
Probably $175 now that I think about it but it's been a while
@@SteelEagle that’s pretty bizarre. My xB have the same engine and transmission as urs. For the exhaust though. U have 1 muffler, I have 1 muffler. U have 1 resonator, I have 1 resonator? U have 2 cats. And I have 1 cat. Why the fuck did they use two??🤣🤣🤣 plus. With a manifold catalytic converter, it’s better and more chance of reducing the stealing the cats lol.
how were you filming parked in the middle of a 4 lane road? it sounds great btw
Thank you. It's just very good CGI ;) The road ends like 200 feet behind the car in the video.
yup
Needs a muffler delete to
Almost want it a little louder but I feel like its perfect for daily driving rn
Is it straight piped?
Nope, it has the stock catalytic converter, stock resonator, high flow secondary catalytic converter, and vibrant street power muffler.
UEL the world!!!!
So it’s just the 3rd cylinder that has a longer pipe ?
Nope. 4 banger with un-equal length header
I know this may sound stupid but what if the Cummins 4BTs sounded like this? That'd be pretty cool.
Diesel Subaru 🤔
Almost like a two-stroke Detroit?
That would be awesome. I'm not sure how it would affect exhaust pulses hitting the turbine side of the compressor though? I'd love to see someone experiment

Ayo who's subaru is dat🤣
i have a 2009 camry xle as well and im looking to do this, will the part linked below fit my car 2.4L even though it says its only for 02-06? or did you need to fabricate mounting for it?
Yea not sure why they listed it for those years but mine is the same year as yours. Mine was the first one they ever made so maybe they got confused. It sits close to the alternator but it doesn't contact. The bottom side where it connects to the exhaust I believe needs a gasket because the stock one is weird. I took mine to a muffler shop to fix that.
alright cool thank you for the reply
