Speaking of Factory Five, it'd be really cool to see a long term build series showcasing you guys building a kit car and giving real world data about fit and finish and the viability of your typical diyer being able to build one.
Actually Morocco has been a pioneer in the Automotive industry in recent years reaching over 500,000 cars in 2022. The country built an ecosystem for automotive production that allows up to 80% integration in the industry. Cars are not just assembled in Morocco but built from scratch there are a lot of companies that manufacture car parts and engine parts such as Valeo, Mopar, Magneti Marelli, etc... Even ECUs are made and programmed by Moroccan engineers. There are new Moroccan brands such as NamX (in partership with pininfarina) producing a Hydrogen powered electric vehicle and they are looking forward to rolling into full scale production in 2025.
I would love to see you guys travel to Africa and check out some of these vehicles in person. Maybe even take a look at some of the manufacturing process.
The opposite of someone who doesn't have narcissism. A narcissist don't even understand they have a mental disorder. "The most expensive cars" said by a psyopath. Yes, here in America when we make the best rack and pinion steering part, it makes it in all our vehicles. Across name bands too. Because this one part is made the best, and it is mass produced to save money. Because making custom parts is stupid and expensive. Only a narcissist would think otherwise. Just like a paid fast pass line at a theme park is narcissism, or a private resort. If you think a custom made car is smart, you have narcissism. But if you wonder why all cars that require the same power don't use the same ingine. Accross brands, because that one engine is made the best. You don't suffer from a mental disorder of narcissism. Only narcissism makes you proud of a custom built expensive car. A normal person is proud of a well built car, and the best gets mass produced. Definitely not a custom car, in a private resort, and skipping me in line in a paid fast pass. While I work for my money and the other has passive income..

As someone who worked in Kenya for a year, the import taxes on new cars was insane. A new Toyota Land Cruiser was literally double from $40k to $80k usd. I hope Kenya produces a good car company that’s far cheaper than imports, the only problem is that it’ll have to be as reliable as a Toyota which is a high bar for anyone otherwise no one will buy it and will just keep using 20 year old Toyotas that still run perfectly.
