- I give you my honest review of AGV's K1 Motorcycle Helmet. Overall I absolutely love this helmet, there are so many positive things to say about it, even with the few negative things.

These are some things worth knowing before you buy the AGV K1. Many can be overlooked where some may be a deal breaker for some of you.
I ride a MT-07 Naked Bike so some things may vary slightly depending on how much wind you are hitting while riding

That visor disorienting thing is what I had with my icon airflite that's why I got this helmet and love it so far!
You need a pinlock insert to make it anti fog they are brilliant

As a new rider, the Airflite catching wind and making it hard to look at my blind sports every now and again or changing lanes, lowkey freaks me out, I don’t like it and I really wanna get a new helmet, I love the AGV’s look and overall ive never heard bad things about them! i used to wear the helmet to the top of my eyebrows. but now since i seen those wearing in motogp which above half to full forehead shown, i feel at the right position the aerodynamic made for.
They don’t come with anti fog visor you have to get the pin lock for it. The visor comes with the holes for the pin lock.

Very great review. I'm currently looking for a new helmet and my brother has this one and I'm using the Icon Airflite but it's been painful to wear. I think I might just jump to this one. Thanks for making my decision easier!!

I love the way the air flight helmet looks but you're right that helmet is so uncomfortable and the wind noises terrible, the only thing good about the air flight helmet is the looks

Wiem, że material ma 3 lata ale mam pytanie czu wloty wentylacyjne posiadają siatkę? Mam wspomnianego HJC FG17 i poza tym, że się troche zużył jest brak sitek we wlotach. Latam na nakedzie i ciagle mam na twarzy male owady które wpadaja przed kanaly na szczęce

Great video bro, just got a sub, by any chance have you tried putting a comms system in this yet? I'm struggling to figure it out with the way the padding sits... I can't get the device to clip onto the helmet

@@touchofturbo no worries bud, it's a lend from a mate - Silvercrest SMFB. Probably not the best out there but thought it would get the job done
I have the whisle only when I turn my head to the right, not bad and not all the time.
Only thing that put me of this agv are straps..love quick release on my LS2 really
Was it difficult to take off at first? Just bought one, pretty easy to put on, no pain the pressure points but when it comes time to take it off, it takes a bit of effort
Honestly, its hasn't been to bad. Maybe in the beginning it was a bit stiff but now it comes on and off no problem. I wear a Medium Large. Having those in between sizes really helps
I have K1s helmet in size M.. Website gives option of MS and ML for dark visor...which size dark visor will fit? Kindly suggest.
my spoiler on my K1 is a bit squeaky is that normal?

Question: if you wear eyeglasses while you ride, is the helmet “eyeglass friendly”.. meaning.. are the eyeglasses easy to put on once you have the helmet on your head.????

Yes, as long as your glasses have straight ear pieces.
Most likely no . AGV helmets are tight and meant to be tightly fitted to your head. U can't wear any sound system in the helmet too.
I just got the exact same helmet except in white. The padding around the temples is cut out a little and has the wording: "Eyewear compatible." I wear glasses with bent ear pieces and have no problem putting my glasses on.
I have one and my glasses go on and off easily, but my glasses touch the front of the helmet when on and pushes down on the brow of my glasses. I can't wear it and will sell it.

I’m in the same boat as u I got the icon airflite I love the way it looks but it’s so heavy and noisy. Gonna go try this one on tomorrow. What size were you on the icon ?
Forsure man the AGV was a huge difference in my opinion. I was a XL on the Airflite

Personally hate that you can’t see shot when you lean in to go fast. I think the top sits so low

Airflite has a lot of wind noice. I am considering a k5 since its higher class than k1
I wanted this lid for a second helmet for night riding but tbh when I went to check it out it felt like complete crap compared to my shoei no offense it looks damn good tho

Would you recommend this, the K3, or the HJC I 70 for a first time rider?
This one's definitely beginner friendly and the price is great. I always recommend stopping into a local shop and try them on and see which one you like best!

The lack of a sun visor is a killer for me. Why so much weight if they dont have an internal visor mechanism?
Well truth be told most if not all helmets with built in visors are gonna have less protection because they have to take out some helmet to place the built in visor.. idk if that makes sense
@@24based it makes sense. But for the price I seriously would expect it. It may be that agv are unable to meet the new safety standard with an internal visor ?

Pinlock will solve your fogging up issue
This helmet looks great but with AGV the massive green and red logo just kills it for me! I cannot stand the big red and green logo it will never go with my colour scheme! Great review thankyou

Trying to decide between the K1 or the Scorpion R420
agv all the way, i had a lot of helmets, but my last like 5 are all AGV, i will never switch to another brand. its like buying an iphone for the first time and realising you dont want another phone. AGV has superior quality of material, even after a year of using i sell for almost exact same price i bought it on a sale or something. they have really low wear.
@@danasbytautas15 Do you own the K1? Some video reviews I’ve watched seem to think the K1 is kind of chinsy or cheap feeling compared to the Scorpion. Also, side by side, the K1 looks much bigger than the Scorpion. I’m leaning more toward the K1 but afraid I’ll be disappointed with it.
@@shinzman87 not yet, but I’ve just ordered one, I’ll have it by the end of the week. If you wait that long I can tell you more about it. I’ve had a bunch of k-5s and K-5s. K5 was my favourite for a while . Over 2 years with minimal wear , managed to sell it for a lot

It isn’t anti fog. It comes with pin locks so you can put an attachment on that makes it anti fog. He breathed into the visor with no pin lock attachment, and that why it fogged up. Every helmet without that attachment will fog up.
