although the visor is an upgrade and seems good but compared to the top of the line visors it’s pretty much just got the bare minimum which isn’t bad but isn’t anything special.
Excellent explanation @ariiimoto. Exactly this. No pinlock, no inner visor, decent visor mechanism (allthough a slight upgrade). So not too great with regard to the visor, but still slightly better than before.
@@Championhelmets since my first response i actually have gotten my hands on a K1-s and all the points above and in the video hold up very well. The helmet is great for the price and the visor is an improvement from the original K1, it still doesn't compare to something like my Bell Race Star. The K1-S has been an amazing helmet for street use and its amazing for the price but its still a low end helmet and compromises on a lot of stuff to keep that price nice and low.
I know the visor is thin and cheap, but why does it have 1 star? I dont think i heard any negatives listed other than agv didnt put a pinlock in the box (which isnt the visor's fault)
The Skwal performed better on the visor, noise and comfort but was slightly heavier compared to the AGV K1 S. The Skwal also has an integrated sun visor which is a nice plus!

This review is outstanding! However I am curious to know why the visor is rated so poorly
There is no inner visor and not a lot of bells and whistles related to the visor.
My first agv was a k1 matte, and recently got a ruroc 3.0 sizing was bad, sold it and straight up bought a k1 gloss black!
Does it look better, gloss or matte?

The K1-S is a beautiful helmet. But the reason it is lightest is because it has NO sun visor. Fantastic review by the way.

well k3 sv is 2205 while k1-s is 2206, and u can always get a visor with tint.

Thanks! There are several visors for this helmet such as a darksmoke visor but also one in blue or gold for example!

The AGV K1 S has speaker pockets, but it is not prepared for a specific communication system! You can use a Cardo for example!

This helmet unfortunately does not have FIM certification, which is becoming increasingly mandatory, and has no tear-offs!
