🤔 In my opinion: 1. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but safety is in the eyes of the wise! SHARP Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5. 2. The Cardo Spirit Comm System fit perfectly in this helmet! 3. Adjusted properly, I didn’t feel any discomfort with the ratcheting chin strap. 4. The airflow and sweat absorption is fantastic. 5. No matter the helmet and safety rating, wear top quality earplugs! 6. Wind noise was very tolerable at 75+ mph. (earplugs) 7. My only gripe is with the outrageous prices for additional visors for this helmet. 👍
I have been using the new K3 for a couple weeks now and mostly like it. I wish I could sinch the chin strap a little tighter but I can't figure out how to tighten up the loops. Not a huge deal though. The main issue is the chin curtain connections to the helmet are very bad. There is a 100% chance I will have to buy replacement chin curtains at some point. It took me like 10 minutes just to get the middle curtain snap into the helmet. The two on the side go in a lot easier but also pop out a little when putting the helmet on and taking it off.
So true. The chin curtain on mine broke within a couple weeks. Also i don't know if everyone agrees about this but i have A LOT of wind noise. So much that i had to buy ear plugs. Also, the wind noise is picked up from my Sena mic and is annoying
@@withoutcorpsee I do experience some wind noise at speed, but it’s tolerable. I wear earplugs that block out the harmful noise but I can still listen to audio (music, gps, phone etc) clearly. No matter how safe, comfortable and the brand of helmet, excellent quality earplugs is the key in my opinion. Stay safe! 👍😎
Wow this is my 5th helmet after 6 years of riding and it's the first one that ever fit me like a glove (I still need to ride in it of course). It took me 6 years to figure out that I'm a blend of round in the back/intermediate in the front. I literally have an egg head. I just dropped almsot $900 on a cool Arai helmet that I kind of regret now. Oh well. I just wish AGV stuck with the egg head fit on some of their more premium helmets.
Glad you found a solid fitment. FWIW - most Arai's do have removable foam to adjust the interior fitment of the top liner if that helps with your $900 purchase as well.

One thing with mine is that the locking mechanisim at the botten doesn't hold it down very well. The plastic tab is just to short. Is this the way its suppossed to be? Looks like it might flip up if riding fast and the wind catches it. My only complaint about the helmet. Also, i have the white one, which looks amazing. It's kind of a pearlesant colour.
I recently purchased the K1s in a large which fit snug . I exchange it for a k3 but it had too much wiggle on my head. Will a medium in the K3 fit better or is it due to the shape of the helmet ?
yeah i feel you i was wearing my k3 sv with ms (57) and now k3 m (57-58) feels large compred to the sv so i tried s (55-56) on k3 and i have to admit it fits very vell feels like ms
Tried the K1S, NXR2(RF-1400), K6S. None of them fit me well and its getting annoying and ill try this one next. The Shoei and K6S were so nice but didnt fit well, my nose was on the nose guard with K6S i could also kiss the front of the helmet and my ears were too forward in the Shoei. All of them started to hurt on the sides of my head after an hour. Please helmet brands make rounder helmets its so hard to find rounder helmets especially outside of US and Europe. I have the budget but cant get a good helmet simply because they dont fit. I will try this one but not a big fan of the looks, weight(dont care about sun visor), and the ratchet system (it digs into my throat)
Sounds like you should check out Arai. AGV runs a bit narrow and long oval, Shoei is intermediate but your pressure points indicate needing a round oval which this K3 will not be. Arai has a few options that should fit your head though.
I’ve been wearing a K3SV in XL and ordered this new version as an upgrade, but it was a massive disappointment in terms of sizing, I’m returning it. the new XL has a bigger shell size than the old XL, but the new L is substantially tighter than the old XL. basically if you wore an XL K3SV, neither the new L or XL K3 will fit you, one is too tight, the other one is too big with a comically huge shell size. great job AGV.
Rule #2 of internet shopping: stop reading all reviews and comments on a product *immediately* once you've purchased the product. Wait for it to come and just enjoy it.
@@gideonkloosterman it’s an okay helmet I still use it. It’s really loud compared to the old version, and kinda big. My biggest complaint is the loudness.
@@Osisnwdbuwuu2 It is loud, I'll give you that. Also my pinlock doesn't stop it from fogging up at all in the rain, but I think that's more an issue with pinlock, not the helmet itself. I mostly use it for commuting around the city and where I live it's so hot that I have the visor open almost all the time anyway, so I'm pretty happy with the helmet.
AGV is able to hit the rotational requirements of ECE 22.06 with their EPS's natural slip to the liner, and FIM (even more stringent) with the Pista's design. We'd hope they offer a MIPS option in the future but some brands shy away from that since you have to pay MIPS for the luxury of using it. But, we agree that an AGV MIPS option would be awesome to see in the near future.

The severe lack of options for people with round heads is absolutely ridiculous, and now there's one less option on the market?? Please, you are the only ones with the market power to make a change. Considering you have a monopoly on motorcycle gear in the US you have a responsability to do something about this.

I can't believe that, this is the Italian design. It's way back for more than 10 years and look soooo ugly. It doesn't have any beauty and any harmony on it. The ugliest part is the front grills. God the new K3 looks awful, if you would slap Nolan logo on it I would totally believe it. I'm guessing it's going to be international standard. Not like the K3SV where it has Euro & Asian market, where Asian looks cooler with added spoiler. And looking at that crown pad, it looked exactly like Nolan systems.
i like my (very loud) nolan n80-6 50th aniversary helmet. but i like my agv k3 sv avior helmet (lime, white, black) helmet with blue iridium visor more. people often ask if the agv helmet has a custom paint job, its a bit rare this helmet. agv k3sv for the win.
I got an agv k3 as my first helmet a couple months ago, and I loved it cause I never had a motorcycle helmet before. Quickly it got old. But I already bought an iridium blue visor for it, so could only trade it in for another color. I ended up getting “kameleon green” or whatever and this thing looks AMAZING. The colors somehow completely hide the awful shape of the helmet 😂
Dont buy this helmet. I bought the philip rossi 2005 edition. The noise reduction is 0, anti fog is 0, comfort ..maybe 5 out of 10. This helmet is the worst

old size k3 sv s/m was perfect for my noggin. sizing wasnt confusing at all.
