I know it is the Internet and stuff is around forever but stuff that old especially as far as things like helmets go is absolutely useless. Great to see the new K1s is still as good as I was hoping. Spent a lot of money in the past on Shoei and Arai. Want to give AGV a try on something with a more reasonable price. Can't really afford another six to eight hundred dollar one again to replace, what seems to go by so fast,every three or five years

Really wanted these to fit, i love the shape and the aero but i just cant have it on more than 40 minutes. The shape is too narrow for me as my head starts to ache from the sides, i also found it impossible to put on glasses even tho it has places for them.

@@raf069 my previous helmet was a CL-17 from HJC, this one is much quieter and better, there is some wind noise but it’s bearable, pretty quiet for the entry model
@@raf069I own this as well. I think it helps with the chin curtain to help with noise filtering as well. You get wind noise for sure but the price point I believe is great for what you get. Definitely recommend it for a normal rider not having to track your bike.
@@raf069 I would recommend the Pinlock insert when you get it. I ride with glasses so it fogs up on my glasses but the lens is not fogging up. Not sure the weather to ride in but totally worth it when the visor is fully closed you want to see where you are going.

"Sport bike helmet" refers to the fact that the viewport, ventilation, angle of the chin, and aerodynamics of the helmet do best in the full tuck or 3/4 sport riding positions; hence the call to sport bikes. Helmets are designed to match certain riding positions, and since riding positions match certain criteria of bikes - you get helmets designed for certain types of riding. If you have a more aggressively sporty naked bike, a sport helmet would be ideal. If you have a naked cruiser bike, an upright or touring style helmet will be the best choice. Yeah, relatively flat shield to improve optics. Not as race-spec flat as we've seen from the MotoGP helmets on the market, but still better than previous budget models from AGV.
Yeah, it'll depend on the contours of your face + the specific glasses you are wearing for most helmets out there. However, there are third party glasses companies that make flexible arms on prescription glasses to help make any helmet better.
Those are extremely different helmets and aimed for very different riding styles, it will likely come down to a style preference of yours more-so than feature vs feature.

I dont go on the dirt very often, the dual sport is just a learner bike. My budget is like $500. I know this is all very specific, but since I'm new to riding, and dont have any friends that ride, idk what to decide on.

Got mine today in matte black, asian fit (M). What a cool helmet for the prize point. True to size & it comes with smoke visor & pinlock.

Does this have a similar fit to the k3? K3 is comfortable in 2x for my head but I prefer the k1s look
They are close in fitment, yes. Both have a bit more of a sporty internal fit but you should be a 2XL in this helmet if the K3 in 2XL fit well too.
