He threw the hardest bar about operating his machines "them are my girls, i'm supposed to dance with them"
You really that in to misogyny? How's that working for you?
"I don't know a thing about golf clubs... But I know how to work"
The dude is a walking philosophical quote lol

@@westarchildren7197 oh wow chill bruh, hes a good ole texan boy
True cinema. This is what separates this golf channel from everyone else. Good golf. Good content.
@RandomGoIfClubFilms what does this mean?
Hearing you describe Jamie as a Texan version of Miura-San put a smile on my face! I'd love to get fit for irons through putter down there. Greatly enjoying the content y'all have been putting out, EAL/ RGC!!
RIght when they kicked over to the factory and started talking about the mindset I immediately in my head said "Oh this is the Texas Miura.." and then they came out and said it a few minutes later. Haha.
As a long time member, seeing the RGC logo on the 59 degree wedge was super satisfying.
Eyes WIDE OPEN during this one. Like, WOW... I didn't know that those Nike clubs had a parentage to the old BH line. What a guy...
I have an Artisan putter fitted and built by John. I have not sniffed at purchasing a new putter. I love my 0217. Hanging out with Mike and John a few years ago will always be a special memory. They took time out of their busy schedule with me to talk golf, family and life!! Proud Artisan customer #23! I am saving money to get some Artisan irons next year.
Got my putter and getting wedges made now. Best clubs I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to do more with Mike and John.
This video and the Miura video are the best on this channel. I could watch these type of videos all day!
99 Apex! Those are the holy grail of Irons!! Glad you did this video with these guys, true American Artist
3:32...."What's inside here Mike?"....some Rory wedges....some worn out Tiger wedges..."
LOL! The clubs in that cage are damn near priceless
Mike’s the best, straight up
A real Texan gem!
As a tradesman, I absolutely just fell in love with these dudes. When he said “them are my girls, I’m supposed to dance with them,” that got me fired up.
Lucky enough to have visited The Oven and meet the team back in their Nike days. Incredible group of people.
I have worked with Jamie and Mike since 2020, tour athlete to weekend golfer they treat everyone the same and produce imo the best wedges in the world.
Mikes the fucking man! His passion is second to none, loved this
I’ve been itching to get wedges made by Artisan Golf. I am so happy you got to have this experience Eric!!
I've grown up practicing next to "the oven" now Artisan golf at Leonard's golf links which if you're from fort worth you know the history there as well being tied to PGA tour host Colonial Country club. Fort Worth truly has such a rich history in golf that not too many people truly know about.
Amazing video to show the craftsmanship and legacy of the guys that have truly impacted the game at the highest levels!! The passion is unmatched. Very excited to see these works of art at the Mad Scramble in a few weeks!
Keep the arts alive baby! Nothing better than watching a craftsman with his tools.
FINALLY!!!! Want to meet Mike Taylor so badly...jealous you got to meet him
Seeing those Oven clips brings back some memories, kudos for sneaking AK in there
That buttery B-roll. 🧈
Incredible! I still rock an entire bag of Nike VR Combos. I never knew...
Once again…. Fabulous story telling and cinematography. Great content.
I love these people. It feels like home. It feels like it has a living soul ❤
My kind of guy. Wake up, work hard on your passion, be around golf, have a stiff drink at the end of the night. 👌
this is the show that needed to be made.
Couldn’t have said it any better
Yep, there are some cool features of Artisan out there but this is the only one that does that team and company justice.
I love the videos like this!! I hope you make more of them 🤞
These dudes are THE BEST! I love this one! Thanks! ❤
Absolutely tremendous adventure in golf seeing artisan golf club makers building someone’s game. A bucket list visit for sure and great content 👏👏👏
Be more like Mike. We need more Mike in the world. Great stuff Erik.
Agreeeed!!
This was an amazing piece of golf TH-cam. Special stuff
What a great piece Erik! It’s informative and heart warming.
“I didn’t know anything about golf but I know how to work”
Thank you. 🙏🏽
He and Miura Sensei have a bunch in common, two guys who decided to pursue their craft to the best of their ability with the technology and tools they have. I feel like these small brands are the future of golf, just like the local club pros in the early days of the game would wind balls and build clubs.
Side note: Eric should go to Philadelphia for AIG or RGC! The area is steeped in golf history and some of the world's most renowned golf architects came from the area (A.W. Tillinghast, George C. Thomas, George Crump, among others!) There are also public courses around there laid out by architects like Donald Ross so definitely worth checking out
Long live Nike Golf! Not the people in Oregon… but guys like Mike who made the clubs that made us dream!
One of my all time favorite videos from this channel
THANK YOU!!
I loved this video. I hope they get some apprentices to pass on their skills
This is incredible. These wedges I imagine are really expensive but I really really want one. What a treat too to see someone so passionate and proud of their craft.
The best club manufactures in the USA and the world. I have worked with both John and Jamie. Wonderful people. Awesome video
Known these guys for years - the real deal. Best wedges ever made. Great people are the reason imo. You pay for quality and you get quality…and MT/John/DR are the absolute best.
Beautiful set of wedges there
"I feel like I'm in the hospital and I didn't even know I was sick!" this is me at every lesson or fitting I've ever had. 😅
Why do I get Miura-San Vibes? Love it guys! These kind of stories matter!
That was a brilliant watch.
Truly enjoyed the PGA Championship piece...
I love the work ethic and dedication by us "old school" types...
I've been waiting for this video for forever . . . FINALLY
I got the blades wedges and putter from artisan. Best clubs that I’ve ever hit.
One of the best golf videos I've seen in awhile
Thanks man!
Great episode. Cannot wait for the #unboxing. I personally am very glad to see this because I have an original set of Hogan Apex that were made there. they are absolutely beautiful, but they're missing the four iron and the nine iron. I need to find a way to send that set of irons to them to see if they can match. so glad to see this!
Love it!!!
I love a good club building video
Awesome! Incredible to see old school still has a place in the game of golf. Love to win the giveaway.
Love my 54 and 59 wedges! Hope to get irons soon!
love this type of video!
Glad you liked it!!
EPIC. I can't wait for the next Breaking with Eric and his new wedges.
oooeeeeee that RGC stamp looks so good
Brilliant 👏🏻
Awesome video! I’d love a set
You already have the best golf club in the world❤
The range I go to is right next to that building and I drive past it everytime I go, such a cool building with so much history
Keep on dancing with your ladies, Mike and John!
Great video. Nice to have something unique in this space. Should have put a link to their website on here.
What an insanely good video
All the people at artisan are top notch! Couldn’t recommend the fitting experience enough if you have the chance to go there.
Idk about you guys but this video gave me shivers from start to finish. Wow, what a production, what a cast but more than all of that, the passion is REAL
Bravo
THANK YOU!!
Oh man! I couldn’t of picked a better time to buy a Nike prototype the oven putter. Thank you for always bringing amazing content!
This was dope.
This is Erik at his best
What a guy Mike is legend!
God I DREAMED of going to The Oven when I was a kid. Wanted to play nothing but Nike clubs growing up. Incredible video!
I have my pro combo irons! Nike ! Always in my bag ! Thank you for this !
This is what golfs about passion
Mike is the beauty behind my Method Core MC1i prototype putter from TheOven. Guy is incredible
Have enjoyed watching this channel since last year and it has not let me down yet. Super awesome content each and every time I watch it. How much is it to get fitted there?
Watch next week's wedge video to find out :)
Still playing the og nike blades from 2004. Butter 🧈
Gosh darnit I’m bout to go down there and get one myself.. wowow those are crispy af
This is great
Awesome, would love to order a putter or wedge from them.
Great video and so good to see traditional craftsmanship not only surviving but thriving. I hope they employ some young apprentices so those skills and knowledge can be passed on.
Thanks for watching!
They need to sign the greatest wedge player of our generation, Mr. Cold Cuts
2:28 Yo! My favorite set of clubs were the Ben Hogans he's pointing at - that's wild! I had no idea.
Great video. Short cinema
Fantastic video!
Glad you liked it!
Excellent stuff, really would like to get down to Artisan for a set of wedges!
I’ve got wedges and irons from them. Amazing clubs
Got fitted last August and I’ll be an Artisan wedge/putter/iron customer for life.
Erik you have a gift and use it well! 10 out of 10!
Thanks man, appreciate it
Love the content
Love this. Call me a cork sniffer but I love going into the rabbit hole of club specs. I've always thought that true crafted custom clubs, like the pros use, make a significant positive difference. Hell, one day I'm going to have a set of clubs make specifically for me, mine. Great video.
Love to get some wedges from them
I never knew this place existed and that it was so close to me. EAL and RGC with another gem
Mike is the man.
So funny i saw this video after i was taking the wrappers off my second set of wedges... Love my irons, wedges and putter! It makes you smile at your experiences at Artisan.
Curious how much a set costs? Assume it’s worth every penny
@@Bobdabuulder it’s on their website; can’t remember what I paid, just had to go 4-9 as have a 46,50,55,60 already in their wedges. To me they are worth it!
@@Bobdabuulder its all on their website; you pay extra for shaft and grip. My putter is more than 5 years old now and still looking great.
@@scottydonald gotcha thanks man sounds like I need to start shopping…
What a fucking awesome video and I can't wait for part two!!!! How does one get a fitting with these two golf gurus?? Thanks EAL, be well.
Its almost like making jewelry! What a team!!
What a great story
@RandomGoIfClubFilms seriously that's awesome do you need my email address or anything
This prob the best video your done next to Muira and one of the early Irish hidden courses.
Im addicted to golf ! lol!
You're not alone!
I've got a full set of irons, wedges and putter from Artisan. Worth every single penny. And the people who work there are even better than the clubs.
