Great review exactly what I wanted to see with the new driver. I recently tried the new Qi35 core with the weights changed from to back and like you I found the standard weight setting better. Great insightful videos as always!
Have you seen an increase in club speed with the QI35 LS? I saw anywhere from 2 to 4 mph increase on Trackman but I didn't see an increase in ball speed so it could have been misreads
Interesting - I think Qi35 is a little more consistent for spin but Darkspeed had a really hot one in there for the right player that made it unbearable but just a little less predictable
Informative comparison, thanks. When TM went from Stealth2 to Qi10, they suggested lofting up on the LS model. I started with a 9deg Qi10LS and found better performance with the 10.5deg turned down to 9.75deg, which would have usually been too much loft for me. Do you think Qi35LS is as low launch as Qi10LS or more like stealth2? Thanks
Would it not be better to show the relevance for golfers who would contemplate these drivers, namely players with a much slower club head speed, ie 95mph
Nick, I have just been fitted into this exact head for the new QI35, Coming from a Stealth 2 core. I myself am a 112-114 club speed player so found this info completely relevant. Just because someone has a fast clubhead speed doesn't necessarily mean they require the LS heads, it's also down to delivery conditions. What Simon is showing is the consistency of spin across the face, this will be proportional throughout clubhead speeds. 👍🏻
You can also just go get fit yourself. There are so many different swing speeds and swings. It’s impossible to cater to everyone. There are also a bunch of TH-cam videos with different swing speed reviews. They do their best and give great info
The across face performance is slightly magnified at higher speeds due to greater deflection on off centre hits but the relevance of the performance is there for all club speeds. The exact gains will vary player to player though.
best reviews on TH-cam. amazing stuff.
Thank you so much!

Many thanks Adam
Great test and analysis Simon! I currently play Qi10 core head and this was the exact comparison I was hoping to see!
Glad to be of service!
I like how your heel and toe are still way more middle than most mid handicappers :)
We have seen some interesting strike points over the years!!
Thanks for the video and will you be looking at the qi35 LS and max models as well?

Did you like the cobra dark speed or qi35 better

The Qi35 LS is solid and low spin but not necessarily lower launch than Qi10 LS. Definitely safer for spin on a toe strike though

NOT many Pros play the LS They are playing the core or standard models
