Oh yeah, Daisy is DEFINITELY in the next movie. She was cut for the same reason Yoshi was. They didn't want too many characters to work with at one time.

Yeah, just as Bowser was about to snap his fingers with his Power Star Gauntlet, Iron Man took the power stars, and turned Bowser's army into dust. After which, he dies.

Sounds like the insane ending is the Endgame of the Mario Cinematic Universe!
The door outline at 3:58 is actually a P-switch door, which appears in Mario 3 and Mario Maker 1 and 2. You hit a P-switch and the door appears, allowing you to go through it. It was probably just a background detail though, as it also doesn't make sense why there are blocks under it, because they would turn into coins if you did press a P-switch, making it impossible to go through the door. Anyway, maybe it was an idea for Kamek and company to "quick-travel" to the airship.
Whoever doesn't know what a P-Switch is hasn't had a childhood.

I'm still sad that Toadsworth wasn't in the Mario movie. He would've fit so well, and since he's barely been in anything lately I wish he could get some time to shine.

@@INFERNO95 Daisy is LITERALLY PLAYABLE in the last Mario platformer and they said Toadsworth, not Toadette. Toadsworth last appearance was Mario Party 7 on the GameCube.
Once they have a whole like trilogy of the Mario movies they should defiantly use that battle scene
Since Daisy and Toadette were considered to be in important scenes of the first movie, it seems likely that they'll be reintroduced in the sequel. Can't wait to see how they implement them!

From all of those concept art and scrapped scenes that we examined, particularly the alternate battle scene, I have a feeling that they are PROBABLY and POSSIBLY saving those for the Mario Movie sequel in 2026. 🤔🤔🤔
The final fight art reminds me of the concept art for the cancelled Plants vs. Zonbies movie. I really hope that they implement that scene in an upcoming Mario movie.

These photos are making me think these shown will happen in the actual film.
These art concepts that are cut from the Mario movie looks awesome and unique to look at. And it would make sense to save the unique and awesome concepts for the second Mario movie, and more Mario movies to be revealed because we need more characters and storylines for the rest of the Super Mario movies in the future and I would be very hype if Nintendo and Illumination actually bring back the concepts to future Mario movies
It would have been cool to see what Peach and Daisy looked like as teenagers.

This is some cool looking stuff. Even tho it is just really early concepts, them thinking about how the climax of a Mario movie would look. That final one tho is very end game and will probably be saved for a later film.
In the massive battle concept art peach is also holding perry the parasol from super princess peach.
I wonder if we'll see CGI renders for all 8 of these concept drawings in the next movie.

Well, these were very interesting, I really hope that at least of these concepts gets utilized in the Future at least, but yeah it probably wouldn’t fit that much to have in the First Movie.

This looks like it would be incredible but its definitely better it didn't happen just yet. I definitely hope they do it in a future movie though
They would have to do this for the 3rd movie. 2 will include new worlds and characters. 3 bowser would be creating a galactic army mario, and everyone would go to the stars to prepare and meet new friends.
Theory time:
1:09 In this picture, Luigi was supposed to be the cooler, confident, and more likeable brother out of the two. Its possible that their parents favoured Luigi over Mario. As such, Luigi became the leader instead of Mario; hence, the "Luigi Bros."
1:49 This picture, I think, solidifies Luigi's more confident persona over Mario. You can see that Luigi has a nicer looking, more well trimmed moustache than Mario's. Mario is trying to copy his brother and learn from him, but isn't as successful at it. This is why Luigi is happy and Mario is not. Also, Luigi has neater hair than Mario does. It is groomed and well kept, whereas Mario's hair is not. Luigi is taller, slimmer, happier, more confident, and much better groomed than Mario.
I think the movie was originally gonna be about Mario learning to become a more self-assured version of himself. This also mirrors the final battle of the final release of the movie, where Mario isn't confident in himself and struggles to regain his determination after being beaten by Bowser. It was an origin story depicting themes of belief, resillience, purpose, and acceptance.
But hey...

1:55 reminds me of that one image with pepe on the ground with his school lunch but as you see peach and daisy were gonna be very mean in the movie which reminds me of mario vs donkey kong (the gba original) where everyone was mean to D.K just like the previous concept art of luigi who seems to be a selfish vlogger so this supports that theory that illumination were gonna pull a mario vs dk and have everyone be jerks for no reason but maybe the characters were a little bit too cold hearted so it got changed

It’s good that Birdo’s appearing. But I still wanna see her do her performance from PM:CS, and also Cappy and Tiara and what I’ve mentioned about them in the previous videos. And by seeing so many likes on my comment, I can totally see this happening sometime later next year.
Makes a lot of sense that daisy was originally planned for the movie with her being thrown in to wonder and having her own wrist band at the them parks. They were definitely trying to build hype for her around the movie
