Things I want to see in the next Super Mario Maker installment: Game Styles: Super Mario Bros. 2 Super Mario Land 2 Super Mario Galaxy Course Themes: Beach Volcano Mountain
My theory is that Mario Maker 3 is one of the debut titles for the Switch 2 and features new features from the likes of Wonder and stuff. There's no way Nintendo could forget about it, given it's one of their best selling games about their most popular franchise. Also, RIP Iwata.
Even though they had a lot of different styles from different games, the two existing Mario Maker games were generally modeled after the NSMB series. If Nintendo has been planning on releasing another Maker game, it’s likely that they wanted to wait until Wonder was finished before beginning development, so that they can keep brand consistency with the new direction of the 2D Mario series. That’s probably why we haven’t seen or heard of a new Mario Maker game yet-assuming that another one is actually coming at some point.
These would be great for a new game but I highly doubt city autumn lake factory and lake would happen because none of those are themes for any of the game styles and I noticed the themes in mario maker have to be in at least 2 game styles to make it in
I fully expect that Nintendo will announce SMM3 on the next system, ever since they said they will stop updating SMM2. That meant that they were starting to cook the sequel. Otherwise they would've kept updating SMM2 since there's still a lot they could add to the game. SMM3 will be massive, at least as big upgrade to SMM2 as SMM2 was to SMM1
I hope that if Nintendo ever does another 2d Mario Maker game they'll allow you to mix existing themes together instead of adding new ones. It would be really interesting to play around with all the possibilities and it would cover a lot of ground for what people already want; for example, Ground could be combined with a lot of themes (Castle, Sky, Underwater) to make Volcano, Mountain, and Beach, which are pretty popular. I'm only worried that it would take way too much time and effort to design combinations across all the different styles, especially considering that in MM2 they weren't able to add night themes for the 3d world style. For the older styles, though, the ability to make courses with settings like a steel airship submerged in lava, a slippery ice cavern, or an ancient underground crypt in the desert would be great for variety! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the major things they had to change between all the themes are terrain design (that's a big one, includes ground and bricks and semisolids) background, lighting (newer styles in particular), certain elements like mushroom platforms in the airship style/cloud blocks underwater, music (should change for big combos like volcano but not minor setting changes like outdoor ghosthouse), ambience, special effects like water, lava, how night themes/effects would work (probably the biggest issue with this idea) and all the out-of-level depictions of the different things in stuff like endless challenge or course world. That's a lot of stuff, but I think if they ever implemented this they could make do by reusing existing assets for other themes.
Something I love about mario maker is that there’s always new content whenever you open up the game. It doesn’t get boring because it’s updated by the players with new levels and worlds daily 😅
until you go to the popular section and its just minigames and refreshers but with that aside, you are very much right. I have seen some Zelda dungeons almost more puzzling than those of nintendo themselves
If super mario maker 3 does happen for Nintendo switch 2 this is a list of the most important change they should do. In the Super World map the ability to enter level already clear, and making secret exit inside level that unlocked the secret path in Super World map, in the Super world map, making a lock so a certain ammount of specific big coins is required to enter that level, and you can set if it spend the coins, or just required that ammount to unlock. Within level making important change to make, more then one sub level, if more then one sub level is not possible, make a pipe that you can go in and play in the back ground and/or closer forground this will simulated more then one sub level without having more then one sublevel, more then one check point in the main level and sub level. The ability to make one way enterable pipe, also the ability to make a pipe that if you enter the same pipe you come out, you continued with progression and/or alternated path instead of going back with no progression. Being able to move the normal goal anywhere you want, including being able to place it in the sub level, Secret exit goal also being able to place anywhere you want and not restricted to sub level only. A check point that can save keys that are collected with the red coins. Less important change but would be cool if they applied it, you can make a key that only open specific door, for example the clover door will only be able to be open by either the skeleton key(normal key) or the (clover key) The reason why I mention this it is for the option to be more visually pleasing and sometimes wide open space is more visually pleasing, in Super mario maker 2 to prevent cheese with two key door your force to inclose one of the lock door in a close Room and the key is also force into that room so it can't be used for the wrong door. So it force an ugly design to prevent player from taking short-cut, in Super mario maker 2 you have two different lock door, it does not matter what key you have you can open either one of does door like a skeleton key.
New things i want to see in Mario Maker 3: Game style: Super Mario Bros Wonder Super Mario Odyssey Super Mario Galaxy Themes: City Beach Cloud Outer space (in Mario Galaxy game style) Characters: Peach Daisy Yoshi Nabbit Wario Waluigi
If we want a proper Mario Maker sequel, keep it a 2-D/2.5-D side-scroller/vertical scroller/diagonal scroller, as 3-D level design is harder to master...
I would like this things in super mario maker 3 (it's a suggestion) Game Styles: Super mario bros 2 Super mario land 2 Yoshi island New super mario Ds Themes: Beach Volcano Tower Mountain haunted florest and plains Autumn Cherry Florest Savanna Ice Cave Sand Cave Lava cave Poison castle Water Castle Candy Plains New's: Option to switch the night background to: normal or starry (music too) Option to switch the classic games graphics: All star or classic (music too) Bosses: Dark Bowser Dry Bowser Course world: New filters New system searching Extra: stop suing your fans for making a cool fan game or remastering a game, emulation is not a crime, you could add these emulators to your online service and buy the ideas and remasters that fans make, you are losing reputation and money, and emulation it's not a crime! madam Nintendo
Yeah, to be honest I don't truly know if there's gonna be a 3rd Mario Maker. I don't know how possible it is, but anything can happen in this world! Maybe by chance, Nintendo is gonna make a new 3D Mario Maker with 64, Sunshine, The Galaxies, and Odyssey.. (possibly even paper Mario!) But for now, we're just gonna have to see.
They could add a new node editor like you put a boss node on a goomba and say it needs 3 hits to kill and each time it takes damage you can make things appear like hammer bros and when you beet the boss all things that appear in the fight disappear and you can add a door node to some hard blocks to make a exit and you can choose if it moves in up down left right or esplods and that's just 2 things you could do with it btw arrowstotall made a video on 200 things we could get from Mario maker 3
Now I just really wanna say this because people keep saying they hope this happens but I don’t think this will ever happen. I do not think Super Mario Maker will ever go 3D and here’s why. Mario Maker was made with simplicity and accessibility in mind. It’s meant to be simple and fun to just mess around and make stuff quickly. When making things in 3D even the simplest set of platforms takes way more time to build. Just take something like Roblox, where building an obby can take a long time and it can be one of the simpler obbies and still take a while. In addition, 3D mario games like Odyssey and Sunshine are very different from the structure of 2D mario, making it even harder to fit in. Not to mention trying to make a 3D level maker interface that matches with the UI of the already present 2D level maker. Not saying it won’t happen but it seems unlikely.
As someone that has been in the Mario Maker community for a while here is my opinion Nintendo in some aspects neglected Mario Maker 2, their community management is practically nothing, it is terrible, so many levels deleted without proper explanations, mostly do to glitches, they hate that we use glitches to make awesome contraptions, do they at least fix the glitches? No, just delete the levels that uses them, get punished for using the game not how it was intended without knowing They completely stopped adding content to Mario Maker 2 after like 2 or 3 updates about 4 years ago and that was a big hit, just wishful thoughts that someday they could add something new to it, the fact that in different styles 3D world is the only one there but there is a gap for more left the community expecting more Also sure a 3D maker sounds extremely cool on paper, but we know Nintendo, they sometimes like to shoot their own foot, it would result in something very limited and not how we imagine it, I remember when they added Superworlds to Mario Maker 2 and they were more limited than what we wanted so most people don't play them But yeah just a new Mario Maker game would be neat, and would require me to once again buy a console just for that game
stopping people from saying first. Also, if Mario Maker 3 does eventually end up happening, it'd be really cool if we could add in our own wonder seeds and use some of the badges from Super Mario Bros Wonder, (depending on when the game could theoretically release) although that may be pushing it a little.
If they do a 3D Mario Maker, they could just have one 'style' and add elements of any of the 3D games. You wouldn't really need them to be in separate "styles". The 2D games were vastly different from each other in graphics and sound effects, so that's why they became separate "styles'. 3D graphics are all pretty much the same (except for 64, which was early "polygon" graphics), so it's primarily the objects that are different. You could even have a choice of flat ground, or little planets, like Galaxy. This, so all 3D games could be represented without having to take up so much data.
I think it would take a considerable amount of tools for a 3D maker to work considering the age of some members of the playerbase. Making a 3D level can take a lot more planning and total work than creating a 2D lvl. Some processes should have an option to "smart-complete" vs "manual manipulation". Like if you want your terrain to be more interesting than just a square flat surface with some odd squares lower or higher you could have a tool that softens the terrain to create bumps and hills where those squares were on the desired surface. Someone else who wants more control could choose to instead adjust and place their slopes manually for better fine tuning.
Will be hard to see if nintendo would release a new one. Mario maker 2 sold less than new super mario u deluxe on the switch. 6M is a bit low for a mario game
I've been wondering this myself for a while, but I think it all boils down to just be patient. I'm sure there's a lot Mario Maker 3 could give us and I agree that we just NEED to get another maker game sooner or later, but I think maybe next month during the direct we can maybe get information on something like that or at least see a teaser trailer or images like how they teased Zelda TOTK. But If not this year who knows if maybe they will save that for maybe 2 different occasions: Mario's 40th Anniversary in 2025, or as a launch title for Switch 2, or whatever the next console is. Either way there is still hope. After all it's not impossible for 2 sequels of the same subseries to get released on the same console, like Splatoon 2 and 3, and that was a 5-year gap. So if it was released on the Switch also 5 years later, it wouldn't be an impossible occurrence.
I'm really hoping they're going for the pun of Super Mario Maker 3D and let us make 3D Mario style levels. Like a 64 Style, Sunshine Style, Galaxy(2) Style and Odyssey style. Though the levels would be more like Galaxy and 3D Land/World in goal, where it's a linear level with one star as the goalpost.
I disagree for one reason. Real paid developers can barely make good 3d platforming levels. I have ZERO faith in the larger general public to make anything besides the hottest of garbage. At best we’ll have a game full of levels on par with Bubsy 3D.
Maybe it's cheeky of me, but there might be a new Mario Run style added to the Mario Maker game. Indeed, we could set a simple level, or create Toad challenges. In terms of customization, we could customize the blue star in flower Prodigy like the Mario Run event on the Mario Wonder theme, or add completely new content on this subject. Personally, I can't wait to "charm the Toads" in Mario Maker. In Mario Maker 3D, Nintendo could make a Luigi's Mansion 1, 2, 2 HD, or 3 style.
7:37 In my opinion just the mushroom is fine instead of the whole theme, I remember the day when they announced the Link powerup and the community lost their mind, speculating what other character powerups they could add in the future... and then they added nothing else, that was a huge missed opportunity
I think for starters, we need more representation from other series, kind of like in SMM1 with the mystery mushrooms except a step further. It would be refreshing to play as other characters and have access to abilities from their series.
Obviously Super Mario Maker 3. We would new ways to make levels, new modes, and new Power-Ups (Ex: Ice Flower). But the biggest addition would definitely be a Super Mario Wonder Style, where you make levels using The Wonder Flower Effects to make your level wacky and better. But maybe a 3D Maker based on making 3D Levels in Mario 64, Sunshine, Etc.. Levels.
If you want Mario Maker 3 right now just make Mario Wonder custom levels. You get so much freedom to make whatever you want. That's what I do at this point 😂
Honestly I prefer the set of rules Maker offers that a hack or home-brew simply can’t. There MIGHT be some amount of logical consistency in a hack, but there is nothing to force the creator to follow any logical consistency with any other hack, the same hack, or even in the same LEVEL! I’m simply sick and tired of needing to both learn a whole new set of game rules constantly, especially when the hack seems designed to be as frustrating as possible to play. Sure in Maker the player can do lots of things to subvert expectations like requiring the player to not collect power ups or avoid coins; but there are limits to what the creator can do within the engine that a player can count on. Perhaps I’m just salty over poorly designed hacks becoming so much more popular than actual GOOD hacks that barely get any eyes on them.
My idea: ONE LAST UPDATE TO MAKER 2 There would be added a maker password you can assign to your account, shortly after maker 3 would release, and if you type in the maker password you can transfer data and levels, a level would have a icon to indicate its transfered, and also old players who had superball and super hammer would keep their power ups
Honetly, this is way to complicated for Mario Maker 2 but it would be extremely cool. So there's this very old engine that made it so you could create mario games, some of you may know it: *SMBX* Now the original engine got cancelled at 0.3.6.0 if I'm not wrong, mainly because of Nintendo taking it down, but it came back because fans of the very engine made *SMBX2* And so, with this now I'm thinking, what if the next Mario Maker game would take a more freedom available turn like SMBX allows you to? Giving you more features and options, making it extremely flexible and customizable to allow things like never before? Both in the normal 2D level making and the world building! Now this would be amazing but I doubt Nintendo could even incorporate half of this into the next game, (remember, the game is in a console with limitations compared to a fully fuctional PC that can easily handle the engine and use of more advanced features and tools) In the end, I'd like this to atleast be the direction the MM series takes, even if it's not close to the full potential of SMBX2 it would most definitely allow for more mindboggling levels, contraptions, possibly even glitches, whole "little games" and would quadriplicate room for criativity... Overall this would be amazing, and I would ABSOLUTELY buy this new game, as I'm an SMBX and Mario Maker, overall engines and games in which you can create stuff enjoyer myself. Tbh, for me this would be a masterpiece, and the best MM game in the franchise so far, not only fhat but one of my favorite games. -------------------------------------------------------- Alright, I know that's a lot of text! But if you actually took the time to read this all (not many have it lol), or you just simply scrolled to the end (justifiable lmao), please let me know in the replies what do you think about this, or/and if you have other ideas for the game! I would love to hear other thoughts!
Can You Put Sonic the Hedgehog in Super Mario Maker 3 Like the Game Styles: 1. SMB1 (StH 1+2 SMS) 2. SMB3 (StH Chaos) 3. SMW (StH Genesis) 4. NSMBU (Sonic Generations (Classic Version)) 5. SM3DW (Sonic Unleashed)
There's certainly a lot that can still be added to the 2D builds. Such as expanding upon water. Waterfalls to swim up, waterslides that can be turned on and off, and water spouts to shoot platforms upwards. The water can also be replaced with lava in some instances. They could also do poisonous water that needs to purified to pasd. Those are ideas that they can implement. Same with gears that can connect and move each other as an alternative to the usual conveyer belts and rails. That's basically what I would like to see.
I believe that there will be a 2D Mario Maker 3, and that the 3D mode would be an expansion pack. IK, that would make Nintendo charge us more, but whatever. It's Nintendo.
Personally, I think a 3D Mario maker would be too much. Perhaps it can be a side mode for Smm3? Also please let there be theme mixing it would be awesome.
That would be cool if they add more "functional" skins like the one from Link but with all the styles ( not only NES) and maybe a samus skin that can shoot and morph ball
I hope for the following Game Styles: Super Mario Bros. 2 Super Mario All-Stars: Super Mario Bros. Super Mario All-Stars: Super Mario Bros. 2 Super Mario All-Stars: Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Mario Bros. Wonder The Course Themes I Want: Beach Volcano Space Candy The following extra playable characters: Peach Daisy Rosalina Wario And the following new Course Parts: Boomerang Bros. Chargin’ Chucks Reznor Whomps Nipper Plants Ptooies …and many more.
Definitely want SMB2 and All Stars styles the most on the list. Some ideas I've thought of are the triangular blocks from SMW so Mario can run up walls and ceilings, and playing as Samus with the suit powers.
I'd be disappointed if they'd add Peach and/or Wario without their specific abilities. They could add them as Power-up or Gamestyle specific. Or maybe they actually make characters with different abilities playable. The obvious problem is that some levels would be harder or impossible with certain characters but I think there are ways to solve this. (I've already written that under another comment)
This would be nice. I'm currently working on a bonedry shell themed level and searched for more ideas on youtube. I realized: To show every aspect of the power up I'd need lava/poison, water, wind and poison mushrooms (and more?).
Super Mario Maker 3. I know the playable characters. Mario. Wario. Luigi. Waluigi. Yoshi and colors. Yellow and Blue Toads. Toadette. Peach and Daisy. And I know the themes for super Mario maker 3. Super Mario Bros. Super Mario bros 2. Super Mario Bros 3. Super Mario World. Super Mario World 2 Yoshi Island. Super Mario Land. Super Mario Land 2. Wario Land 1. 2. 3. And 4. Super Princess Peach. Super Mario 3D World. New Super Mario Bros and new super Mario bros u. Super Mario Bros Wonder. I know that's gonna be in Nintendo Direct in June.
Suggestion: it is a bit boring when we see the same trailers under you talking, maybe, include some other gameplay, or not all the same ones Love your vids and upload schedule, I see if you don't have time for that
If they do make a 3d mario maker i think they would go with - SMB1 - SMB3 - SMW - NSMBU - Super Mario Bros Wonder - Super Mario 3D World (but acc in 3d) - Super Mario 64 - Super Mario Galaxy if they go insane they could add an odyssey gamestyle but you could probably only upload like 3 odyssey levels
It's 2024 Nintendo 3DS and Wii U has died, but the Only Super Mario Maker game what I'll still have is Super Mario Maker 1 on Wii U. I'm interested of buying and playing Super Mario Maker 2 on the Nintendo Switch, but i'm not sure is it worth it, because i'm afraid the Same what happened to Super Mario Maker 1 will happen to Super Mario Maker 2 and it's almost a 5 years old game soon, so I'll wait for the Next Super Mario Maker game. I really hope it will be Super Mario Maker 3D where you can make and play 3D levels like on Super Mario 3D World or even Super Mario Galaxy, as a big fan of Super Mario Galaxy games I would love to see Super Mario Galaxy Maker where you can make your own Galaxy maps and Galaxy courses like in Super Mario Galaxy 2 WAHOO! 🌌🌠
I think all of us 4got about game builder garage, that one game where you could design your own game... (but we all gave up after the campaign cause the rest was too hard😂)
The Most Possible Outcome of Additions Characters: Mario Luigi Toad Toadette Peach Daisy Wario Themes: 5 New Themes Course Parts: 200+ New Course Parts Game Styles: Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Mario World New Super Mario Bros. New Super Mario Bros. U Super Mario Bros. Wonder Extra Gamestyles: Super Mario Bros. 2 Super Mario 64 Super Mario 3D World Princess Peach Showtime?
I'd be disappointed if they'd add Peach and/or Wario without their specific abilities. They could add them as Power-up or Gamestyle specific. Or maybe they actually make characters with different abilities playable. The obvious problem is that some levels would be harder or impossible with certain characters but I think there are ways to solve this.
If only they can make expensive games again like Newer super Mario Bros Wii and Newer Super Mario Bros Wii U and Newer Super Mario Bros DS and any other of those expensive games that never been heard of plus they never been sale at shops and also there’s something in Nintendo switch that they never done before imagine they could try to do these games in the Nintendo switch Like New Super Mario Bros Wii but in a Nintendo switch same thing for Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros 2, New Super Mario Bros DS, Mario Party 10 here are the extra ideas for the future, but for Nintendo switch and don’t forget also it would be a lot better to play those games, but in a Nintendo switch
Thanks for featuring and crediting my concept trailer! I hope we get the next Mario Maker soon with our ideas combined!

If they make a SMM3 they especially need to get rid of the f*cking lag in multiplayer!

I really really hope Super Mario Maker 3 releases on the new console (Ounce?) with Super Mario Bros. Wonder as a Game Style!
My hopes of Mario maker 3 is that there are more than 1 new game style.
I would really hope they finally just give us SMB 2 USA style complete with environments and enemies/bosses.

They completely stopped adding content to Mario Maker 2 after like 2 or 3 updates about 4 years ago and that was a big hit, just wishful thoughts that someday they could add something new to it, the fact that in different styles 3D world is the only one there but there is a gap for more left the community expecting more
Also sure a 3D maker sounds extremely cool on paper, but we know Nintendo, they sometimes like to shoot their own foot, it would result in something very limited and not how we imagine it, I remember when they added Superworlds to Mario Maker 2 and they were more limited than what we wanted so most people don't play them
But yeah just a new Mario Maker game would be neat, and would require me to once again buy a console just for that game
stopping people from saying first. Also, if Mario Maker 3 does eventually end up happening, it'd be really cool if we could add in our own wonder seeds and use some of the badges from Super Mario Bros Wonder, (depending on when the game could theoretically release) although that may be pushing it a little.
yeah, maybe like 10 effects from the game, and all the night theme gimmicks
If they do a 3D Mario Maker, they could just have one 'style' and add elements of any of the 3D games. You wouldn't really need them to be in separate "styles". The 2D games were vastly different from each other in graphics and sound effects, so that's why they became separate "styles'. 3D graphics are all pretty much the same (except for 64, which was early "polygon" graphics), so it's primarily the objects that are different. You could even have a choice of flat ground, or little planets, like Galaxy. This, so all 3D games could be represented without having to take up so much data.
Stuff I want added to the game
-the ability to draw stuff in the background
-Doppelgänger (based on CV3)
I think it would take a considerable amount of tools for a 3D maker to work considering the age of some members of the playerbase. Making a 3D level can take a lot more planning and total work than creating a 2D lvl. Some processes should have an option to "smart-complete" vs "manual manipulation". Like if you want your terrain to be more interesting than just a square flat surface with some odd squares lower or higher you could have a tool that softens the terrain to create bumps and hills where those squares were on the desired surface. Someone else who wants more control could choose to instead adjust and place their slopes manually for better fine tuning.
I would have loved Nintendo to release Mario maker 3 on the switch but probably on the next console I believe
Will be hard to see if nintendo would release a new one. Mario maker 2 sold less than new super mario u deluxe on the switch. 6M is a bit low for a mario game
I absolutely love Mario maker both games and the way your inner child just comes to life creating levels
They will add wonder theme for sure
Themes that Nintendo still haven't added: volcano, beach, mountain, tower
9:34 maybe they turn the mario movie into a game style
I think they should also focus a lot more on the world maker
I feel like SMM2 would’ve sold better if they hadn’t stopped updating it so soon. They only released 3 MAJOR UPDATES. Over the span of a single YEAR.
Do you think you have the creativity to make 3D Mario levels or are you more creative working with current limitations?
At this point bro might as well upload a new Video every second 💀
Ikr
The future of Mario maker just released to today
So I am disappointed that Mario maker 1 is shut down. But hey at least we still have Mario maker 2.
at least mario maker 1 has been 100%ed
I agree with the both of you.
@@Avriel_Mimiga101%ed you mean?
Agreed
Maybe it's cheeky of me, but there might be a new Mario Run style added to the Mario Maker game. Indeed, we could set a simple level, or create Toad challenges.
In terms of customization, we could customize the blue star in flower Prodigy like the Mario Run event on the Mario Wonder theme, or add completely new content on this subject. Personally, I can't wait to "charm the Toads" in Mario Maker.
In Mario Maker 3D, Nintendo could make a Luigi's Mansion 1, 2, 2 HD, or 3 style.
7:37
In my opinion just the mushroom is fine instead of the whole theme, I remember the day when they announced the Link powerup and the community lost their mind, speculating what other character powerups they could add in the future... and then they added nothing else, that was a huge missed opportunity
Levels.
I haven’t stopped playing Mario maker since it came out it is top 5 video games easily and I really want a new game
750 hours… I have… 750 hours… I’m Mario Maker 2…
If there will NEVER…. be a sequels… I will be… very… disappointed…
i have 800 get on my lvl😎
i have 800 get on my lvl😎
i have 800 get on my lvl😎
i have 800 get on my lvl😎
i have 800 get on my lvl😎
If you want Mario Maker 3 right now just make Mario Wonder custom levels. You get so much freedom to make whatever you want. That's what I do at this point 😂
Except for those with patched Switches (like me)
@@Donobodude I do it on PC
@@jayandjlps What, with an emulator?
how the heck do you do that?
Mario marker is the only Nintendo video game that Nintendo officially allows fans to make their own Mario level.
My idea: ONE LAST UPDATE TO MAKER 2
There would be added a maker password you can assign to your account, shortly after maker 3 would release, and if you type in the maker password you can transfer data and levels, a level would have a icon to indicate its transfered, and also old players who had superball and super hammer would keep their power ups
I hope smm3 will come out soon on switch 2
I don't think super mario land is boring as you say in 7:30, it just came out on the switch and i had a lot of fun with it!
Honetly, this is way to complicated for Mario Maker 2 but it would be extremely cool.
So there's this very old engine that made it so you could create mario games, some of you may know it: *SMBX*
Now the original engine got cancelled at 0.3.6.0 if I'm not wrong, mainly because of Nintendo taking it down, but it came back because fans of the very engine made *SMBX2*
And so, with this now I'm thinking, what if the next Mario Maker game would take a more freedom available turn like SMBX allows you to? Giving you more features and options, making it extremely flexible and customizable to allow things like never before? Both in the normal 2D level making and the world building!
Now this would be amazing but I doubt Nintendo could even incorporate half of this into the next game, (remember, the game is in a console with limitations compared to a fully fuctional PC that can easily handle the engine and use of more advanced features and tools)
In the end, I'd like this to atleast be the direction the MM series takes, even if it's not close to the full potential of SMBX2 it would most definitely allow for more mindboggling levels, contraptions, possibly even glitches, whole "little games" and would quadriplicate room for criativity...

Alright, I know that's a lot of text! But if you actually took the time to read this all (not many have it lol), or you just simply scrolled to the end (justifiable lmao), please let me know in the replies what do you think about this, or/and if you have other ideas for the game! I would love to hear other thoughts!
Show us Princess Peach in a construction worker look!
Can You Put Sonic the Hedgehog in Super Mario Maker 3
Like the Game Styles:
1. SMB1 (StH 1+2 SMS)
2. SMB3 (StH Chaos)
3. SMW (StH Genesis)
4. NSMBU (Sonic Generations (Classic Version))
5. SM3DW (Sonic Unleashed)
Did you forget Wonder is a 2D game
There's certainly a lot that can still be added to the 2D builds.
Such as expanding upon water. Waterfalls to swim up, waterslides that can be turned on and off, and water spouts to shoot platforms upwards. The water can also be replaced with lava in some instances. They could also do poisonous water that needs to purified to pasd. Those are ideas that they can implement.
Same with gears that can connect and move each other as an alternative to the usual conveyer belts and rails.
That's basically what I would like to see.
Hi! This was an amazing video tbh
3d Mario Maker --- Little Timmy's Hot Garbage levels, but in three dimensions!!! 😂
2:26 hopefully MM3 brings back amiibo skins 🙏
@madnessarcade7447 FACTS
I hope for the following Game Styles:
Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario All-Stars: Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario All-Stars: Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario All-Stars: Super Mario Bros. 3
Super Mario Bros. Wonder
The Course Themes I Want:
Beach
Volcano
Space
Candy
The following extra playable characters:
Peach
Daisy
Rosalina
Wario
And the following new Course Parts:
Boomerang Bros.
Chargin’ Chucks
Reznor
Whomps
Nipper Plants
Ptooies
…and many more.
I wish I could see the real trailer of Mario maker 3d
I hope we get a Mario Kart Maker
Me waiting for a mario maker 3 announcement even though they said is over
Me rn:💀💀💀
Saying 3d Mario maker should get game styles is pretty stupid. It’d be better if it were one big game style.
I swear if the switch 2 looks like THAT im gonna lose my mind!
Gotta love the hype build of a new console.
Imagine a Luigi Mansion Maker
They’d better add the ice flower
It needs 3d world course editor
i feel like a not that special but cool feature they could add is more subareas
not that big but it'd be pretty neat ig
like, 3-5 I would like
so I can have loooooooooooooooooong levels
I'd love to have a Wario Land maker.
Suggestion: it is a bit boring when we see the same trailers under you talking, maybe, include some other gameplay, or not all the same ones
Love your vids and upload schedule, I see if you don't have time for that
they could go at this two ways imo in terms of a 3d mode for mario maker 3 either a 3-10ish wide line or like a 64x64 sandbox or something similar
(or maybe having both)
They used 3d world as a template to make a very good maker game. Thats why its so much better than the other styles, i know ppl dont agree
This guy upload every videos more fast than the light
I feel like the un used game style is supposed to be mario wonder. I just think they didnt wanna go through the process of updating maker much later.
Bro ur out doing ur self every time I open TH-cam pow nin10do land vid
If they do make a 3d mario maker i think they would go with
- SMB1
- SMB3
- SMW
- NSMBU
- Super Mario Bros Wonder
- Super Mario 3D World (but acc in 3d)
- Super Mario 64
- Super Mario Galaxy
if they go insane they could add an odyssey gamestyle but you could probably only upload like 3 odyssey levels
I love Super Mario Land!!!
How much does this man post 💀

I'd be disappointed if they'd add Peach and/or Wario without their specific abilities. They could add them as Power-up or Gamestyle specific.
Or maybe they actually make characters with different abilities playable. The obvious problem is that some levels would be harder or impossible with certain characters but I think there are ways to solve this.
super mario maker 3-D
Eah
Nintendo can literally have a money farm if they made Mario kart maker
Wow, this guy is double uploading daily
Can't it be both can't we have a Mario Maker game where you can make 2D levels and 3D levels ?
1:41 And 1 year to see the 3DS port before that.
Fall guys creative basically made the series die out
No?
Please make it do 3d
If only they can make expensive games again like Newer super Mario Bros Wii and Newer Super Mario Bros Wii U and Newer Super Mario Bros DS and any other of those expensive games that never been heard of plus they never been sale at shops and also there’s something in Nintendo switch that they never done before imagine they could try to do these games in the Nintendo switch Like New Super Mario Bros Wii but in a Nintendo switch same thing for Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros 2, New Super Mario Bros DS, Mario Party 10 here are the extra ideas for the future, but for Nintendo switch and don’t forget also it would be a lot better to play those games, but in a Nintendo switch
add all 3d mario games mario wonder and mario kart and all yoshi's games in mario maker the woud be the perfect mario maker
Yesss! ❤
Stopping kids from stopping kids saying first
Wait wut
That doesn’t make any sense.
