He already went to medical school in Syria. He becomes a doctor at this hospital. The guy he drilled a hole in hires him even though there is problems getting his records.
@justcallmejessz3712 If you get your medical degree outside of the country, wouldn't you need to get cleared somehow to practice medicine in Canada (or USA or wherever this show takes place) ?

As a Syrian I really hate this show’s message & production style. First of all they didn’t hire a Syrian actor for the main role lead it’s a Pakistani. Second It’s the most Americanized whitewashed version/perception of the war & there’s so many inaccuracies. It’s so obviously skewed to one side there’s literally no mention whatsoever about the sectarian elements of the Syria war. Nothing about my friends that were purged by the “Syrian rebels” only showing them as “democratic heros who’s against dictatorship”. Nothing about the Syrian opposition rebels purging Syrian Christians, Syrian Shias, Syrian Armenians, Syrian Atheists, etc. Like many Syrian minorities joined the Syrian regime army not out of loyalty to the regime but out of protection of the country from being overrun by daeesh & FSA sectarianism. I am not for either side of the war I’m for the people of Syria especially it’s minorities but the FSA Is 100% worse than the regime & less democratic too bc a democratic entity doesn’t purge minorities.
I’m guessing like myself, who hasn’t seen this episode or show before. They may be confused to if this clip is edited to follow TH-cam’s TOS. And I’m curious too, did the show really edit that moment out? Or did they need to edit it for it to be on TH-cam? I hope someone knows lol I don’t have the time to find the show etc
The syrian should be given a medal and a free trip to medical school

@xenalovesares Sure glad he saved John Hannah. I will always remember him as Jonathan from "The Mummy" lol
As an American of Israeli background. The borders need closing
Syrian Doctors are brilliant, they excel wherever they go !
Now THIS is how you make someone regret not hiring you lol. 😂
This is not funny
Repent. Not regret.

Such a handsome actor. Long eye lashes... I'm jealous 😅😅
I know right I was just amazed at how long his eyelashes were
As soon as I saw him I said: COMMANDER TAYLOR!! (The Closer- w/Krya Sedgewick and Major Crimes)
Sexy accent, too
4:37 in Arabic he told him a hero then Bashir replied I'm still not a doctor here 😢
Another Dr. Bashir! The one I already know is Dr. Julian Bashir on Star Trek DS9! (Played by the Gorgeous ALEXANDER SIDDIG!)
Oh yes, Alexander Siddig... gorgeous is an understatement!
Man while watching this just looking at the part from fixing his eye just watching that makes me feel the pain
i hope this was a cool origin story for a new character in the series
edit: OMG IT IS
This is from the pilot so i absolutely think it was his introduction
this guys like god
the people in there blame him for all that happend

the people in there only came to him for help after they rejected his help in the first place
Go Bash..show them your talent no matter what they think of you. I know the feeling
This guy is a rock..
This may be random, but the Syrian guy has really nice lashes 💀
The drills that they use to drill into peoples brains stop automatically so that they don’t drill in peoples brain tissue that drill would not have stopped.
When the alternative is hypoxic brain damage, I'll take the localized drill-based brain damage.
U sure know what they doing
Unless it's different at different hospitals it may not stop on its own. Ones used in ORs I've worked in are regular drills
I had no idea such a drill existed that could do that 😮 Neat, safe and cool to know thanks for the great info

He is sooo cute 😍 look at his eyelashes and his humbleness
the way they handled this guy
Hard to believe that that is John Hannah. Aka Jonathan Carnahan from the mummy movies.
I thought that was Hannah! Just watched the reaction to that movie by Natalie Gold.
Cool ty
WHY THEY STILL HAVEN'T TREATED HIM??

It's the reason why people don't go to hospitals because of in house security and police, if someone avoiding the system is found, they get into trouble
Refugees don’t usually have health insurance and this guy was already at the risk of being deported on the false assumption that he was a terrorist.
to be fair he was running around avoiding staff for most of this
