I'm making video game music covers, but there's a twist: every melodic line is performed with a bass guitar (from chords to melodic leads). I hope you'll enjoy these as much as I enjoy making them!
I wanted to kick things off with a classic: Gerudo Valley, from the amazing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Dude i love that song that's one of the first riff i tried to learn on bass. (But with the 4 strings only it's a bit clunky)
I was considering buying the GSRM25 Mikro to play some Primus and slap.

The GRSM25 is a fantastic little instrument! it sounds killer for the price and it's really easy to play. The only downside is that it's pretty hard to find these days, depending on where you live (in Europe it's near impossible to find). It's a little harder to slap on it at first due to how close the strings are, but you get used to it.
I actually removed the low B and added a high C string instead, so i can play higher notes. But the B string is pretty good too. Sounds much deeper and less clanky than on a regular 5 string imo.

thank you! and I'm really sorry but no I don't have tabs/sheets for this one, I mostly work by ear or with midi files usually so I rarely make tabs.

@@nell711 haha good work! I forgot to specify it but if you have a way to open/read midi files, check out vgmusic.com, they have a ton of fanmade midis for older videogames. You still kinda have to adapt them to be playable on bass sometimes but maybe that could help you have a readable reference for the music if you need in the future? cheers
@@Elektrobajo This is a great help I never thought of using midi notes as tools . Though I do really like the challenge of drawing up my own tabs by ear and adding a little personalized style to it
