Me too. And I keep trying to better my life and it goes nowhere.
Keep trying! Lets keep it going!
I could listen to you talk forever. You have so much wisdom. I resonate a lot when it comes to being obsessed with making money but not feeling fulfilled. It’s a hard trap to get out of. I’m on the journey of unlearning this.
I really like the story about making your prison nicer. Very interesting stuff.
Thank you for another kind comment. Your comment gives me energy and motivation. Thank you for spreading the love! We all are going through this journey together.
Totally agree with u! Always appreciate what you have around you first. The pasture is always greener on the other side. New subscriber 😊

I was feeling similarly for about a month+ this year. Nothing excited me. I've been to 25 countries and also was feeling a lack of motivation in life. Most of my travel was as a low income earner. Now I'm an engineer. Sometimes I want to quit but my role is too good and I help family. Life comes in phases. This feeling too will pass. Now im focused on reading and meditation more. I did a 10 day silence retreat last year. Definitely recommend.
Amazing story! Thank you for sharing! Will look into the 10 day meditation
@@DonnyLulu you should. It's free, non sectarian, and all over the country and world. Thanks and best of luck 👍🏾
@@sonderexpeditions Please seek the Lord Jesus! He will fill that void. I felt the same for years until I just got tired off going through that cycle and called out to Him! It’s the best decision I ever made. I pray you will do the same on Jesus name!
@@fiftyplusmoneymatters I'm already Christian. Still felt same.
@@sonderexpeditions Wonderful!Very happy to hear. I pray you will find your passion and purpose through Him! We all seem to have experienced this at some time. Now I have lost passion for the things of the world and find joy in doing charitable services. Try going on some mission trips if you haven’t done so yet … just an idea. 😊
Over-analysis leads to paralysis - make your money and do whatever you want in life - true freedom, but you gotta find a way to fund it. Good luck
Thank you!
Thank you for this because I need to stop wishing I lived somewhere else than where I do, be more present and discover my surroundings.
Glad you see it too! Thank you for sharing
Here’s a radical philosophy.
If we don’t feel enthusiastic and excited for what we’re about to do, it’s probably a clue that we need to go and rest more and not do that activity.
Thanks for the reminder for passionate living with zest. It’s so obvious that it no longer is obvious. I think everyone is operating being low grade burned out zombies in our high pressure go go go all the time toxic hustle overworked society.
I agree! Thank you for your insight 🙏
Any man at the age of 40, they want to be stable with family, children, friends. Whether they are rich or poor, successful in life or not, all have 1 thing in common they see alot good and bad and lot of exprience after 25 years. In your case, you travelled to 40 countries, there is nothing left for excitement or enjoyment. In my 20s, I only travel once every 2 years to keep the excitement and enjoyment of travelling. I still remember my 1st time travelling oversea by myself, very excited go to the airport, sit on the plane ,catch a taxi, didnt know where to go, staying in the hotel, ordering foods .
Great analysis
@@Lifeisgood-123great perspective! Thank you for sharing that! 🙏❤️
@@DonnyLulu I didnt know you are Vietnamese. whether you believe it or not , people does run out of luck in life. Therefore , you need to recharge your luck instead of your energy . Why dont you consider moving to vietnam living for 6 months . I know a few friends living in Vietnam in an modern areas with expat not with local Vietnamese , if you can afford $2000/month include cost of living. Vietnamese in Vietnam have different mentality. Today they are your friend, tomorrow you are their cash cow, the next day they dont know you.
@@VanTran-ne4yf yes im considering living abroad for months at a time. I did live in vn with my wife for a year when we first got married. Thank you for sharing
@@DonnyLulu I dont think Viet nam will be an option for you. You already living there know too well about them. Maybe try Thailand and Philippine, but it hard to find friends in a different countries , western expat full of crooks try to take advantage other expat like the Vietnamese. They dont have jobs or saving living overseas.
They are great points mate, thanks for sharing. Right now I'm just sitting in my car and it's night, after going for a drive to de-stress. I've been looking after my 2 yo boy all day and while I love him to bits, it can be the most exhausting and frustrating thing at times. I'm still also grieving the death of my father recently so it feels even harder to be a good father at times. I can see why being a parent wouldn't be for everyone. You're right though, you have to take time out for the little things in life as you say just chilling with friends or going to a movie, otherwise you go crazy.
Cheers from Australia 👍
Thank you for sharing your story! I respect parents, it is a lot of work. I hope you will find the balance with all the beautiful people and things around your life! 🙏

We have the dirtiest beaches in California. They're toxic. Nice update. Best wishes
Thank you for taking the time to comment! 🙏
The content of your videos definitely resonates with me. I enjoy listening to you talk about stuff that's relatable and matters in life.
I spent my early adulthood, 20s, 30s, working multiple jobs and going to school collecting various degrees and certifications. I just keep chasing the dream. If I get this degree then I'll be happy, If I get this job then I'll be happy, or if I paid off my debt then I'll be happy, etc. Now with a blink of an eye suddenly I'm nearly 40. Most of my friends are married with children and time is not something they can afford to give up. I'm fortunate to have a handful of friends left who are free to hangout occasionally, but life seems empty and boring at times. I'm mainly WfH and really miss the human interactions. Now I'm craving for new experiences or simple experiences that I've missed out on early in life. It's crazy at my age to finally go to a club, or bar for the first time, but I finally did it. I even made new friends at this age. I learn to put myself out there, to be vulnerable, and I'm so proud of myself. 😊
Amazing! Comments like this inspires me to make more videos. Thank you for sharing your amazing story of transformation, im excited for you! May i ask how old you are? Im 46
I'm 37. My older bro is also the same age as you. You look very youthful for your age! If ya got any lifestyle tips and tricks on looking young, ya should also share that too.
@@TTNBearthank you for the comment and recommendations. I do, maybe will be coming videos 🙏
It's called having too much money and it's a problem most people don't have.
Time to focus on more time for self than money 🙂
30s, no excitement. I force myself to get back into gaming and pick up new hobbies. Nada. I grew up dirt poor. I can afford things now but suddenly the money meant nothing to me... if i had the money i had now in my 20s, i think my life would have been much happier.
u can just send me the difference, so u have again the same amount as in ur 20s and we both will be happy forever
😂
Lets find excitement again. Do you like to travel?
This happened to me in 2017
I lost my purpose
I still go through phases like that
Thank you for sharing that 🙏
I completely agree and feel the exact same way. Dont know what the solution is.
We got to learn how to enjoy the things and people around us 🙂
Amen 🙏🏽
Amen 🙏❤️
I'm early 30s, and felt like I was crazy for feeling like I had no more excitement
Yes we all feel that at some point. Maybe have times for your hobbies? What kinf of hobbies are you into?
@DonnyLulu I used to love traveling, but I don't have much love for it anymore. I love love going out to eat, which I still do but it feels so incredibly lonely constantly going alone.
But I'm trying to pick up on other hobbies like rock climbing and biking.
I haven't started yet but I want to
@@Lifeisgood-123have you thought about of hobbies that can include other people? Like pickle ball, yoga, dance classes, or something that involves group meet ups to expose to more people. Maybe that will open up some possibility to meet new nice people
@DonnyLulu I did think about dance classes, but the hours didn't work out for me.
Due to trauma and past betrayals, I try not to meet new people.
Side note: I'm in therapy
Brah I listened to more than half this crap. I get it and that’s why I built a leather shop because that is what was missing in my life. Now I have a purpose. It’s not about the money I’ll make, it’s the passion I have for the craft and now I work as a boot cutter at a leather company. I’ve felt what you’re talking about and ever since I’ve been building this, those thoughts are gone. Also I go to therapy to keep my mind right.
Thank you for sharing your story 🙏
@@DonnyLulu no disrespect intended. You don’t need a beer at a bar to feel like you’re on vacation. Find something that gives you a reason for getting out of bed. Looking forward to doing a product act that gives you fulfillment so when you go to bed with looking forward to doing it again. I wish you well. Hope to hear a new perspective from you soon. Have a good night
@@Noname-bq4qc thank you for sharing! I agree with you. Looking to be creative again. Thanks for the reminder
Someone told me once: No matter where you go, that's where you'll be. Find your passion my friend. Wherever it may be. You are lacking something (not a bad thing)my friend. Break out of the cycle, my friend. Look inward for happiness...not outside)car, house, cell...)
Agree! Thank you for your insight! 🙏❤️
Even though I’ve live in the California most of my life, I haven’t much visited out of So Cal…I still prefer to go to another country when vacationing because even though it may not be as nice as it is here, just the different culture and mystery of the unknown makes it more interesting 😊
Yes thats what i love about traveling too, just trying to incorporate local excitements 😊
I’m from Morocco I was born there but I came to the US at the age of 24,I am 50 now and I still live here in the US. I go every two years three years for a month vacation where I was born and even if it’s my own country and I know the language and culture. I felt a little bit weird and alienated and disconnected with the people because I didn’t live with them day to day. I’m more free and more flexible. I can understand disagreements differences, but it looks like a lot of the people back home in my country, don’t get it there’s a lot of stereotypes and the money over there rules whatever you wanna do is money especially cash
@@wasafiassi thank you for sharing your story 🙏
The happiest time was going on road trips with 10 friends cramped into a sedan 🤣
Great memories!
Eventually all copes come to an end... Just try to find the healthy ones to turn to
Thank you for sharing
I always think about why people talk so highly about taking far away vacations as I live here in SO California myself. I think it’s because for that short time span, they forget about their miserable work and grind lives we have while dining like royalty and not so much of where they traveled 😂… and then come back broke and have to work that off on top everything else
Yes everyone travel for different reasons, but we definitely need to learn how to appreciate things around us more
Ok, let trace places. I do not want to assume that you have had an easy life, but (funny) if you are behind your mortgage, your car payment, and no food for yourself and your family, I bet you do not have the time to spending being low like this.
Again, no matter where you are, you’re more lonely than you can imagine. Get hold of yourself, do not talk out loud.
Take a DEEP walk into the woods, talk to your inner self. Happiness is what you set out to achieve, just you, yourself to deal with.
Thank you for sharing that! Will take your recommendation and spend more time with self. 🙏❤️
Gotcha! Nice thumbnail

Great advice! Thank you!
I have always find fulfillment in life by trying to help others.
I hope that I can help a lot of people financially.
1. I am trying to build a TH-cam channel so that I can hire different people to make videos to earn an extra income.
2. I hope that I can work my family and friends' young kids to make videos, so that I can pay them "Earn Income".
After that, I want the parents to invest that "Earned Income" into the kids' "Roth IRA" account, so help set them up to become a Millionaire in the future.
In the previous 14 years, I used to volunteer my time to take pictures for people for Free as a Hobby.
That was where my fulfillment was before. I enjoy providing a service for people for free.
I hope I can help people in the future Financially with my TH-cam channel.
I want to work with different people to make Eating or Cooking videos for TH-cam.
Amazing!! Thank you for sharing that 🙏
Can you talk about the different income stream lines you’ve created? Or how to create them?
Thank you for the recommendation. I can try to put a video together for that in the future
Great video.
Thank you! I appreciate your comment
When you were young, travelling the world was an exciting prospect. It's not an exciting prospect for an adult because adults have shed their youthful skin. And eventually you'll shed this adult skin and become somebody else, perhaps a wise old man. You must constantly redefine what excites you. That said, you want some excitement in your life? Are you really sure about that? Because exciting for an adult is a whole different game. Do something big, that's exciting. Change the world. Shake it up. Join a biker gang. Run for president. Start a business with a goal of $100MM and then donate it all to charity and start over from zero. Bro, there are plenty of things to do in this world to excite you. Start thinking like an adult, which means NO LIMITS, and your next problem will be having too many options. Best of luck, brother. Maybe I'll see you on top of a mountain some day.
Wow, very motivating! Thank you for sharing your insight! Will definitely see you at the top! 🙏
You have to do a lot of camping and swimming on weekends in the summer because you need to save money for weekend ski trips in the winter. Welcome to local travel bro.
Good idea, will try that out

Donny, you said you listened to music, so I assume you love music. Perhaps learning to play a musical instrument would help you build a passion in learning to play a musical instrument? Have a great day!
@@Musician_Robert great idea! I always wanted to learn the ukulele or guitar.

You seem to have lost the chase the excitement you once had its because our bodies and mind tells us to start worrying about the future when you are young you don't care and live for the moment and don't worry about houses and jobs and kids it happens to us all mate .. live for the moment and have fun along the way .
Thank you for your insight 🙏❤️

Go back to ur roots , what excites u ? What’s something you do daily for leisure and enjoyment ? Once u figure that out , u build from there. Life is too short to force urself into a field that you don’t enjoy simply for $
Wise advise!

Thank you, you are too kind!
Go Camping in the Woods!
Yes i like camping, going to get myself to do more of that, thank you!
The one thing that will improve your life is to stop watching all this BS online. Get offline. Get your act together and move on. Seems that nowadays everyone wants to throw themselves a pity party. Grow up and be a man. Start acting like an adult for god sake’s. Bottom line is no one really cares about other peoples issues because EVERYONE has issues. Always did always will. The sooner you learn that the better off you’ll be. GOOD LUCK SUNSHINE.

That is a strong belief you have about life and stress. Is there another belief that we can take on to lighten our life?
@@DonnyLulu usually people consume themselves a little too far in a philosophy. you will see people who are heavily involved in religion and it consumes most of their thoughts and beliefs. all I know is take on as much as you can in terms of what you are capable with life. your life should be busy constantly. because when its not that's when everything negative creeps up. just get lost in what you love and don't allow anything affect it. if you don't have anything you love you have to do some searching and try things you never knew you would like. when I look at your videos and you traveling to many countries it just tells me you have avoidance issues. your avoiding reality. which is fine but if you don't truly love traveling constantly then you have found your problem. me I love engineering. i love gaming. I love my dogs. i do the same thing's everyday none stop I can do even more and more if I wanted to. I have plans for the future like possibly moving to LA a city that has more of a gaming culture/ fun things to do. but you never know. just do what you actually love and enjoy it. be thankful you don't have cancer yet... 1-3 men get it 1-2 women get it. life could be WAY WAY worst. it can end actually any second. therefore when your thinking negatively and thinking with fear or guilt or anything else just keep reminding yourself it doesn't even matter you can die any second now. so just be more appreciative try new things. meet new people. I still have to do those things too. but for now Im stil studying for my degree. almost done and after my degree I have 1 more certification and then im ready for the next phase of my life. either moving or something else you know something new.
