In 1977 i was eighteen and went to work at a Ford Dealership as a mechanic and the first job i did was replacing the starter on a 1970 Torino 429 SCJ i replaced the starter parked it on the yard got my next job and thought nothing else more about it. it was an ok car.

My 351 Cleveland in my 71 Torino GT would boil the tires. Not sure what happened here.

Sounds like the glasspack or muffler needs to go off

    Too bad it's not powerful
    enough to lay rubber
    without power braking it

stupid as hell. a good sound is always preferable over a loud obnoxious. especially if you cruise any distance

@@pmaint1 seen it. But i my galaxy had great brakes, i could have done 50 ft burnout easy if the tire could handle it

My Question is, is how do these cars end up in Europe where their governments are so far left on a whim they can claim they are not "green" enough, confiscate them and crush them

Cause not everyone in Europe is nazi-ecologist, an yes, we like a LOOOT american V8s, but here they are rare and expensive, also the petrol is expensive, but, if you have passion for american vehicles why not, why you want to put down freedom of buying what you desire. Leave people free.

Scott, I think the answer is it varies by country and where they’re lenient it’s not as bad as you think. At least that’s my hope. I don’t think they have the right to confiscate & destroy your property. If anything mileage and time of day limits, and maybe not in big urban areas- but an all out grab & crush seems very unlikely.
