Got the mishimoto intercooler coming in the next couple days. I have yet to see th prl and mishi side by side till now. Thanks for that. Ive had experience with prl parts in the past and like you just proved....they are cheap. I have the mishi cold air on my CTR as well. After this intercooler then its off to Hondata.
@@BillaDaKilla i had the regular intake when i made this comment, and its great. I love the sound, but i just ordered the prl turbo inlet tube and the mishi race intake you are referring to. I also ordered the 4 bar MAF from hondata (I do have hondata now too). Im keeping the old mishi intake in my car, im just changing the tube if it will work. May do ok, if not ill replace the whole thing. When im done with this, im doing the hondata fuel system and a methanol injection kit. Cant wait to feel my baby slam my head back into the seat.😃R-16174😃
Now im confused everyone always agree prl is superior than Mishimoto and now look at the difference. The only thing i don’t trust about Mishimoto is its made in china so idk which to choose
I’ve seen people mix and match charge pipes with different intercoolers. Would it make a difference if I had Mishimoto intercooler and used prl charge pipes?
I guess as long as it lines up, and the connections match. You can. But in my experience. Mix and match only causes fitment issues, and charge pipe pop offs, during hard pulls. Definitely not the life I want. Roadside trying to reattach charge pipes. So I 100% don't recommend mix matching any of this stuff.

Do you have the Mishimoto race intake with the 4 inch MAD housing? If so how is it?

bigger isnt always better, in this case bigger = more lag

It depends on what you want. Stage up. PRL, full race misihimoto.

No, it's a kit with charge pipes
@@frankdogg75 You can use stock charge pipes and later upgrade them if you choose. They're meant for direct bolt on to stock.
