Maaaannnn. I thought something was seriously wrong with mine. I put it on Track mode to make sure that's the issue, since the valve stays open, and bam, no squeaking. Thank you so much! 🙏
Awesome fix! I have this problem with my ‘18 Challenger R/T @ 60k miles! Faint but annoying squeak, also embarrassing when driving through a parking structure! First thought it’s a suspension problem. Thanks a lot!!!!
Yes I freaked out too bro I have a 20/20 wide body simple fix couldn't believe it I thought I was going to have to come out of pocket and some cash my boy.
First off thanks for the video! I have been having the same issues with my charger and challenger. I took mine to the dealer and they wouldn't touch it because I have an aftermarket exhaust. This is the exact sound mine is making thanks!
Ok so i have a 2022 Dodge charger and i sm hearing the seek when i press the engine start button. So your saying to buy W-40 and issue should get resolved? Also i hear the squeek when i am driving slow like into shoping store parking lots. Do you guys hear it when driving slow into small parking areas or do you guys only hear the squeak when your car is at a still
I did this mine was doing the same thing on my Redeye and also pulled the fuse the squeak went away but now check engine light came on for both sides of the active exhaust and can’t figure out why. The squeak turned into more headache.
Wow that’s a really easy fix, my hellcat has the same issue and I just got it it’s a 16 with 15,000 Km, I thought it was the rear suspension at first but than after the remote start I here it to so I new it was the active exhaust, I know what I’ll be doing about it know thanks for the great video
Holy shit thank god! I have a RT that have the same problem, really pronounced when I do a cold remote start, also this noise is also there when I am driving at low speeds under 20 mph, not when the car is stopped.
Good job with the fix! Don't forget you can also wire those valves open for free if you decide to do the delete. And best part, no chance of it squeeking again!
2016 Dodge Challenger RT Scat Pack… we have had the active exhaust valve replaced through a Dodge dealer and now we have the same code being thrown. Help!!!
I think I have it too. It does sound like a bad bushing in the suspension. For me it is just off idle when you give it a little gas. Maybe a 1 second squeak. I can let off the gas and nudge it and make it squeak over and over. It's not terribly annoying but in a machine a squeak is usually never a good thing so it makes me wonder.
Good video bro. Is that a common problem with Dodge? I haven’t had that problem yet, but glad to know there’s a easy fix. Congratulations on the sponsorship with Bosworth’s. I was going to have them do my wrap, but I left to to Cali. Congratulations bro👍🏾👍🏾🙏🏼🙏🏼
Man I hate that squeaking mine is doing it again now....I sprayed some WD40 in there a few months ago now its doing it again....I got the other spray now need to go ahead and spray it down like you said it's so damn annoying....good vid bro 👍🏽💪🏽👊🏽🔥🔥🔥
Are those real hood pins or the stick on version? m My hood started flexing at 165mph and thats when i knew i needed hood pins. Started researching hood pins a bunch came up that used double sided tape instead of drilling through the hood and radiator support.
@@Toro704 right on man they look really good. I definitely would’ve done it if I had my stock hood but I switched up to the demon hood and like I said that thing started vibrating at 165+ LOL so I did it for safety reasons. But keep doing what you doing man it’s awesome!!
I know people who have been crushed because of this... broken limbs and death. It isn't worth fixing it if you can't enjoy it. Please teach people how to do it with a little more OCD on the safety side of things. I'm not trying harp, but stay safe and teach it.
Just squirt WD-40 and lithium grease and the two holes on each of the active exhaust controllers. Soon as I did that went away immediately. Be liberal. With the grease I mean.
The Squeak is annoying, however, the way you Dropping your tools on your paint made me cringe Every Single Time you did it. Like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Dang. I thought I was the only one dealing with this issue. Mine squeaks whenever I hit the gas. Glad you discovered how to fix it. Thanks
Mine too man did u fix it and how?
I zip tied the valves open on the exhaust easy to do

Same here, I think I have the same problem, and yes it's stupid when I drive low speed through a parking lot, and when I cold remote start my R/T.
It squeaks several times when the ignition is turned on. Please help me fix this.
@@sgary2008 Spray some WD40 in it, it fixed mine.
@@harveylin3548 any idea why we keep having to replace the exhaust valve actuator? Dealer replaced it now it needs to be replaced again.

Also change your fuse in the truck and disconnect it. Also check other fuses truck and in the hood of the car

No squeak
I got the same squeak on my car and I have a Borla exhaust kit and it just started squeaking
Mine threw the check engine light on code U1140 😢

Damn bro my car doing the same when I accelerate sometimes I hear it too on low end
Try this and see if it works
bruhhhhhh im gonna try this because mines been squeaking and its soooo embarassing, whole ass shaker nd squeaking all ugly makes me feel cooked

It may depend on the climate. It’s probably more likely to happen in wet/moist areas and less likely happen in dry/arid areas like SoCal/NV.
