I had an accident and my left side active exhaust valve actuator for a 2018 Dodge Charger RT broke and my check engine light came on, and I bought one that was from a Daytona but on the right side and it seems to work but the check engine light does not turn off. Could it be because it is not for the left side?
So I have the same issue broke my sensor zip tied it there was a tik sound coming from my exhaust until I put a boby pin in that circle that the spring goes on I added a new one today and I still have a tik sound when I rev it any ideas
We had the exhaust valve actuator replaced at a Dodge dealer now we’re getting the same check engine light. (2016 Dodge Challenger RT Scat Pack) Any idea why we keep having to replace it?
How tf did you get the spring back on. I laid under my 2022 Dodge Challenger Scat for 3 hours yesterday, trying like hell to get the springs back on. They popped out when I needed to put white lithium grease to stop the squeaking. I tried using a flat head. But it's impossible to twist with the flat head. Grrrrrrr, I wish I could find a video on someone putting the springs back in.
I have a 2017 dodge charger rt just got it 2 years ago mine just conected and zipped tie not hook up like your on the exhaust is that supposed to be like that or what happen if i hook it up the way you have it it wont hurt or mes up something?
Did you remove the active exhaust solenoids? If you did it will cause a check engine, possibly the car won't run correctly. I honestly don't know to be honest with you
Nah you’re fine active exhaust codes usually aren’t red flags however it’s annoying to have a engine light on your car and sometimes the flap will make noise
I have headers and full corsa exhaust with my active exhaust still connected my car was running perfectly fine until that P1217 code came up, I would say it definitely makes the car not run correctly
you can use a small flat head or a pick tool to lift the securing tab from the front of the pigtail and with your other hand pull the pigtail out...Good Luck!
What was the part number? I just had a road hazard smack the side of my sensor so hard it broke the mount points. 😢 luckily nothing else was damaged at least. 🙏 Edit - Actually, it ripped off the lower plastic piece from my widebody fender too... damn. 😕
damn, its hella expensive brother even used... www.ebay.com/itm/256270614232?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=256270614232&targetid=1645685073768&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9031866&poi=&campaignid=20133407470&mkgroupid=147476396765&rlsatarget=pla-1645685073768&abcId=9312979&merchantid=7873714&gclid=Cj0KCQjwhfipBhCqARIsAH9msbnKy_M6R3m-y_hFocYCBfTJHTJUJYfMJ8SA5BhE240L4fE6-9cdIwEaAiFUEALw_wcB
Their was no fixing it. Replacing the item fixed it. Got it directly from dodge..tax tho 250 for an actuator
Dodge service was trying to charge me 2,500 and 600 for labor!!! 😮 and I looked online for the part it was like 360$ so I was so confused
@@vanessaorozco13did you get it fixed?

They use plastic parts. they break on their own
