- Truck Camping Adventures: Hiking Hidden Trails in the Ozarks. Were living out of a truck camper deep in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas. We took a seven mile hike to ancient sandcastles and Twin Falls. During this hike we had an encounter with a pack of wild hogs! For dinner Kellie prepared black bean enchiladas with turmeric rice.

We gonna get to see Jonathan? I'm so glad you're in Arkansas enjoying its perfection, like Kelly said, a piece of heaven! Don't you love how at peace you feel when home?
What a cool hike! I can't believe it's not more popular. Thank you for taking us along. I love the hiking videos.
Minus the man eating wild hogs, the waterfall and sand castle area is so cool!
I feel like that cool shot from inside the log needs to be acknowledged! Great camera work as usual.
The way you said the special guest and the smirk on Kellies face makes me guess it's Johnathan. He's a cool guy just like y'all.
We should have come to Arkannsas for ''Warm''...!..Tested out the Palamino 4 days ago at 9900 feet in Colorado at 12 degrees! Glad for the extra insulation! Now in Moab...not very warm here either...headed south!! Take care guys, watch out for those wild Hogs!
Wild azelia smells so sweet it should be a perfume. You were lucky to see that bush
They smell so lovely
OMG you guys are so amazing! Modern day nomads- camping in beautiful settings and escaping bad weather by just driving away 😊 Life cant get any better! Cody rippin into the chips and taking first bite was priceless! Thanks for sharing your journey with us! Everyone click the LIKE button!
Can't wait to see Jonathan again!
Hey guys love me some Cody & Kellie, got my truck set up for boondocking in the Ozarks because of you too. Hopefully I’ll see ya on the trail. I’m 71 and just getting started. Be safe
I can't wait to see Jonathan, I bet he's starting to look OLDER by now....... This was truly a beautiful Vlog..... Thank You so much for sharing ......
We made the enchiladas last night. Quick, easy, delicious. My wife not a black bean fan, loves this. Gonna be a go to dish! MMM Good
Hey 👋, I don't comment much as I watch on a TV, but I've been watching y'all since you were still in the sticks and bricks about 3 or 4 years ago. I used to live in Hot Springs, your videos make me miss Arkansas every week👍
HI CODY & KELLIE 👋
WHEN YOU WERE FILMING THE FLOWERS WITH THE BLACK BUTTERFLY 🦋 WAS THE OTHER ONE A HUMMINGBIRD MOTH ? LOVED THE COLORS OF THE STREAM THAT THE CAMERA FOOTAGE 📷 PICKED UP 😀 THE SAND ROCK CAVES WERE BEAUTIFUL . LOOKS LIKE EVERY STATE HAS PROBLEMS WITH WILD HOGS ? VERY DANGEROUS I HEAR . GORGEOUS HIKE 🚶♂️ BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 GOD BLESS YOU BOTH ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏
This is such a wonderful video!! Camping, cooking, beautiful scenery, hiking, it was just the best! I would have been scared to death with those wild hogs. Can’t wait for the next one. Way to go… Outstanding.
That butterfly on your hand is called a “Question Mark” butterfly, on his side of his top wings the edge is a lighter color and with the cutout of his wings it looks like the top part of a question mark and there is usually a same color spot on his back wing to complete it. Great video! I have been watching full time RVer TH-camrs for almost a decade. You are the first that I know of to show the Quachitas and Ozarks region. I follow about 120 channels. So I spend a lot of hours watching videos, cuz I am tired of all the FBI, 911, and cop shows on tv.
Good day to you, I had to watch the replay but it is still the same and I certainly enjoy the fact that you two are interested in the history of the area that you were visiting and you always tell the most interesting stories of the area that you are on a hike or the city that you’re camping in or the campground it is so enlightening and so enjoyable to watch and listen and it seems like we are right there with you walking with you on that hike and that’s white that has drawn me to your channel and of course The cooking segments that Kelli with her cooking skills just brings the food right to my dining room table! Enjoy your escapades across this country where there you are in Arizona Arkansas Florida wherever because the public is watching you and drinking in every part of your camping experience , I look forward to seeing more adventures with Cody and Kelli and your truck camper and my prayer is that God will keep you both safe and healthy and strong and that you have touched so many lives with your lifestyle and your love for each other and how you interact with each other is amazing, you can tell that you have a strong marriage and thank you for being Cody and Kelli and Bringing your channel dome life to the people that click on your channel
Love to see you guys enjoying springlike weather and climate! Close encounter with wild hogs, glad you were able to continue on to the beautiful waterfall.
Hey Cody I'm thinking you and Kelly should get your carry license! Federal license! I'm sure you'll never use it but rather have and not need it when a bad situation arises! One against one ok give on one that's gonna end bad ! I love you two your videos your lives are awesome 👍😎 ! Don't want to see you hurt or worse !
Recently just found you guys and have been binging. Lived in the VB/Fort Smith area until I was 12. These vlogs are bringing back some memories. I think a herd of hogs is called a sounder.
Kind of disappointed you guys didn't do the "Woo Pig Sooie! GO HOGS!" Or in Kellie's case, "GO (away) HOGS!" 😁
🤔 mmm....this may be a favorite 💚 those fossils, the water, the rocks, the enchiladas, Cody wrestling that chip bag😆....everything EXCEPT for those hogs😬
Angel princess was not digging the hogs! Lol
I'm with you lil lady!!
Cool! I love it! Looks like we need to add to our must see & do list! Wild azalea is what I have heard that tree called!! Stay safe guys!
The hike was amazing and the enchiladas at the end were so tasty looking. Keep the bugs 🪲 away!
Lol laying in My Palamino truck camper(older) watching y’all camping in yours!
Such an awesome video, I really really enjoyed the hike and those cool cave like structures and that beautiful Creek wow not to mention those waterfalls too❤
The dinner looked so,so good....
Love your vids. I notice the intro music is what My Self Reliance w/Shawn James has who i also follow.
Rock walls weren't only for boundries but also, they could burn a field without the fire getting out of hand. Walls were fire breaks too. At least here in New England. They could light the field without worrying about the fire getting out of control.
What a beautiful hike! Love those caves. For dinner, I though Kelly would also be barbecuing a rack of wild pork ribs.
Oh my dad those enchiladas and that camp spot and now i have another new place in Arkansas i wanna go and never have been!
Fabulous video, thanks! Take good care of youselves!
Thank y’all for the great video! Loved the hike, waterfalls and the fossils but not the wild hogs! Looking forward to the next video, have a great weekend ❤
Again, if I can find a 'Kelli clone' for my trips, I'd not only be a "happy camper", but a peanut butter and jelly pair. Gotta make the hop over from Texas and do the Ouchita trails.
I’m hungry for enchiladas and rice! Yum!
Supper really looked like a winner!!! YUM!
Yay even more Arkansas videos yes Lord!
Wild azaleas (pretty sure that was the pink flowery tree). I was at Twin Falls just a week ago--Richland is one of my favorite areas for waterfall hikes.
👃 What did you smell while hiking? Was it the flowers on the tree?
🐖I would be scared of those hogs too. Glad you both were at a safe distance from them.
❤️I love the part of your video of the waterfalls. The sound is amazing.
🍂We have found a fossilized leaf before while hiking. They are cool finds.
🌯Thanks for sharing another delicious recipe! It looks delicious.
Dudes... My family has been watching since Episode 1. Please get out and set up a tent once and while. We all know it's not easy but that's what we want to see.
We live in the truck camper now
Fun! Ty for sharing!!! Hi from Maui !!
I can relate about those wild hogs. I was riding my recumbent trike on my county road with my Boston Terrier riding in a basket on my bike rack behind me. Was about 4 miles from home and I passed a low creek area, rode about 200 more yards and turned around to see a huge herd of wild hogs….mommas, papas, and babies crossing the road right where I was a moment before. They kept crossing…..had to be more than 50 of them. I was very intimidated. Called my husband and he brought his truck and took us home. Very scary. On a recumbent trike you are riding low and face to face with dogs….and potentially hogs. I have ridden by there since and luckily no sightings of that or any other hog herd.
Am going to try modifying your enchilada dinner. I eat keto, so I make my own tortillas and use meat instead of beans. Your way is so much less messy than my way. Am on the hunt for Boar’s Head Manchego cheese. Will try that rice for my husband and any guests joining us for a great enchilada meal. Oh, and Julio’s salsa is the ONLY brand we buy. Love, love it!
Thanks for sharing. I appreciate all your videos. Thank you. Enjoy your adventures.
i love that pretty clear water. some places ive seen turquoise blue by forked mtn and bluffton preserve its also blue and has springs runing into it. both spots i LOVE
Wow! What a view from where your resting.
I recognize that label. Mateo’s Salsa with Hatch Chiles is the best!
There are now mutant "super hogs" coming down from Canada. Result from some kind of experiment and escaped into the wild.
They have to edit all their cooking segments into an indexed cooking compilation.
Beautiful video! Thanks for sharing all the beautiful places! 😀😀😀😀😀
Ok cordy and Kelly great hiking so how many steps do you count get with it haha yes some good food you two got it together great video happy camping
Love the Chosen t-shirt!! That show is so awesome!!! 🐟
The thought of a flood about 4300 years ago. Everything was under water.
Loved this video. Such a beautiful and cool hike. The hogs were a little unsettling!!
I’m glad y’all added the intro, good job! 😊
I love your vids. History, nature lessons. Plus good cooking.
We enjoy watching your videos guys! And by the way, if I'm not mistaken, I believe Manchego cheese it's goat's cheese... it's delicious! See you guys on the other!
Livin the life y’all!! From beginning to end…absolutely amazing 🤩 Thank you for taking us along! 💜🥰
Awesome place. So when I am ready to hunt wild hog, I know where to go.
Ahahaha hey y’all killed it!💪💪 That’s a solid hike! Man y’all are making me homesick with this arkansas content!
Beautiful and peaceful view and hike
Welcome back Jonathon👍
A other amazing video I really enjoyed the water fall the cave structure and learning about the things around you
Love your cooking lessons
Kellie but the spoon beating on the side of the pan is annoying
Hears a old timers trick use a butter knife as a push tool works great to push the ingredient out of your spoon and no annoying banging
ps I have your cook book now
I display it in my kitchen everyone knows I adore you happy cooking
Need to get some orange it’s turkey season
Cody - who taught you how to open a bag of chips, Conan the Barbarian? LOL 21:59
Hugs are too scary! 😅
That tree growing out of all that rock at 5:40... I see those and give them hugs and tell them they're beautiful. Happy hogs...mud bath then running along... What another awesome video!
You make the best videos, so interesting . Thank you SC
Those are my favorite chips. They need to work on making it easier to open the bag, though, if you don’t have scissors or such. And wouldn’t a resealable bag be awesome?
What a nice intro you guys came up with. Love your content😊
Now that finally warmer out,its kelly and cody season! So
Happy to see you 2 out having g fun
Love your adventures, hikes and meals! I just ordered your cookbook! Keep camping!
Beautiful scenery.
Great video!! Interesting to see fossils and structure from an ocean bed in Arkansas. The activity of the wild boars could get me a bit nervous, although like Cody said move out of the area as soon as possible ,☀️safely!! The Richland Creek and waterfalls were so serene. Thanks for sharing with us. PS looking forward to seeing the surprise visitor on the next video🙂 I know you'll be making one of his favorite foods.🙂 Sincerely, Shays Ways 🚐🚐🌎
Loved this video! Awesome scenery and videography! God Bless
You guys make me want to camp in Arkansas🤩
Let's go Sheila!!!
is it a little brother sighting and y'all those wild hogs had me scared to death
Another beautiful show, guys. Beautiful country, for sure. Hope you guys pack some 'heat' when out there, for self defense, if needed. Keep up these wonderful shows. Be safe, God bless.
Nice shirt Codie 😊
I really enjoyed the video and the food looked excellent
That there is Bigfoot country
Life is good great fioman
Loved it! Y'all are amazing. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. ❤🙏Jane in SC
beautiful hike, beautiful waterfalls and oh lawdy! that meal looked so darn good.
It had to be in the back of your mind to do a WPS!!!
😂
Saw you opening that Chip bag Cody, Yup. Why do they make them so hard to open?
Cody you made need to start carrying a pistol up in those parts.I have a friend his brother does alot of hog hunting up there and they can definitely be dangerous
Just wondering do u guys have a weather radio that an alarm sounds for tornadoes or flood threats? Internet not always available. I just ordered one. Stay safe ya'll!
fling bugs do not like citronella oil get a little bottle dap it here and there and they will leave you alone.
Another great video! Luv ya'll
Nice video
Fixin to get hot so I it's time to hike!!!
hello Cody and miss Kelly, hope all is well with y’all in the outdoors.was just wondering, have u guys ever seen or heard anything that u couldn’t explain in the outdoors.always concerned about ur safety,a fan in TX,formerly from S/Korea🇺🇸
Good question. We had two strange noises/lights we couldn’t explain but that wasn’t in Arkansas.
Why I always have my Glock 20 hog / bear repellant on me all of the time. Hogs can mess you up. In groups, they are not afraid of you.
Great video, as always!
did yall ever get your bathroom floor repaired?
We’re filling the new tub under warranty so it should be here soon
That would be frank and Jessie james
Feral hogs are kind of scary. 10 feral hogs are real scary.
How do I follow Jonathan?
His channel link is in the description of our newest videos. His channel name is Johnny Whild
I didn’t expect a reply! You’re awesome. @@CodyandKellie
I think you should carry a pistol like a 9 ml or a 357, only a suggestion for pigs or bears
Hogs!!! Where's your firearm. So cute lol, till your are gored.
We’re protected.
Okay bro, just worried about yall, all your travel, trailer stolen, out in the middle of no where, hogs, etc. Just feel like a little defensive thinking is in order. Truly enjoy the content as well as your adventures. Please keep doing what your you doing. God bless you!
What about your mushroom hunt?
We didn’t see any
did they ever catch who stole your trailer? wow, that sucks.....
Nope
@@CodyandKellie that is really awful. I ended up ordering a wheel lock and GPS tracker for my trailer after I heard what happened to you guys. You have my sympathies... BTW, I saw your vid where you camped at the headwaters of the Arkansas River and the MT-Bike crash happened. I've been there many times and have biked that trail system and kayaked the river. We are coming to Arkansas in April 2024 and looking forward to it....
