Agree!!! Really liked this video. I don't think I could've dealt with seeing so many ticks though. I'd be afraid I'd bring them in the camper/truck on my stuff if not me. When I got here to NM last May I camped in an area trying to find suitable housing and the area I was in was infested like that. Was so stressful and has forever grossed me out lol for dealing with ticks. And I had my cat with me! Lol, you two are tough. :)
According to doctors, I was within 12 hours of dying from a tick borne disease called ehrlichiosis, I got at the Buffalo National River. I was delirious when I was taken to UAMS. I was in ICU for two days, another two days in a room before being releases against doctors advice. Ticks are nothing to mess with.
My brother in law has some kind of disease he got from tick bites. He can't eat any red meat at all or he gets deathly sick and gets to visit the ER. So his wife's meal are chicken, with some fish. Surprisingly he can eat pork either, which I thought was a white meat. Anyway glad I found your channel, great stuff and hopefully I can convince my wife to go camping with us (her idea of camping is a hotel with no room service). Thanks again for sharing.
I'm full of envy. I plan on road trips this Summer with my truck camper and my dog and hope to find myself in the midst of such scenery. I'll bring my banjo.

Cody I think I've solved your fishing issue ? Take that fly rod and leave it home get your self an open face spin caster and a really nice Mepps spinner real small like a florescent orange or pink that will catch your limit every time ! Don't go any higher gauge than 3 lbs test !

tea tree oil in your shampoo helps repel ticks ..you can add water to it in spray bottle and spray your ankles to help repel them ...can use on animals also///
You guys need to buy some Wonderside all natural spray. We use it when we camp and on the outskirts of our property, which has lots of woods behind it. Our dogs have never had a flea or ticks, nor have we ever been bothered when camping.
I watched an episode that you said you needed whip cream. I just purchased pampered chef’s whip cream maker. It actually works and it should work for two people.😀. We liked it for Easter.
