You are a brilliant teacher!! I have wanted to make these for years but been too scared to try. Now with your clear instructions I can see my family having a delicious updated menu from all your uploads, & I'm sure they will be thankful to you also ❤️ 🙏
Hi PJ Cash, thank you for your comment. I am happy that you find my videos easy to follow and yes you and the family will certainly enjoy these as they were delish! 😊👍
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes ❤️ I cooked the lamb pilau this morning for dinner and my son had it for his tea after school, we all thought it was delicious!! Next time I will halve the rice as there's only 3 of us but I have shared this batch with neighbours. Then, I couldn't resist making these samosas, they turned out great, I'm so impressed with myself thanks to you and your video, my husband was delighted to see me making samosas, he loved them 👍! I've planned to make 4 of your recipes this week, tandoori chicken drumsticks & the chicken & potato curry are next!! Thank you so much for inspiring me to try! x
Oh wow! You've been busy! Lol Yeah I totally forgot to mention to halve the quantity of ingredients to start off with as it does make a huge batch of rice. Nevertheless the neighbours will be happy 😊👍
Watching your mutton samosa made me nostalgic my Dad used to make them for whole family on the festival of colors (Holi) we celebrate in India .As your name suggests Shamza meaning Sunshine you bring in my life atleast watching your videos .Keep us all updated with new and old recipes which I believe you can do .God Bless You
Really enjoy your style of teaching and I love the fact that you’re human and forget things like the peas occasionally. Makes me chuckle. Do you have any sides recipes so that I have a one place ‘go to’ recipe for Tara Dhal, Bombay potatoes, steamed cabbage with coconut and chillies (not sure of the correct name) etc please?
Thank you for your comment Denzil. I am forever forgetting ingredients 😁 maybe I should rename my channel 'The Forgetful Chef'. I'm currently working on more side dishes which you will be able to see in the next few months on my channel. Please stay tuned and subscribe for more recipes by turning the bell notification on.
Thanks for a really easy to follow video. Could you use the potato filling for these? Is it ok to freeze the uncooked samosas - as the pastry has already been defrosted?
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes thanks Shamza :). I'll see if I can find it. Anything that allows for easier samosa making is a good thing! The standard filo is far too delicate and messy.
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes I made them and cooked in the oven they ended up being super yummy still crispy as fried just not as golden as would be if fried 🤤 thankyou for the yummy recipe
Yes you can. Either, make them all up and freeze the ones you're not wanting by placing them flat in the freezer on a tray with baking parchment on. When they've held their shape a little and maybe half frozen over, pop into container/zip lock bag and freeze or you can make up as many as you want and freeze.
@@foziamahmoodali6491 I did tried them actually and they turned very crispy very tasty, but before u put them in the oven make sure you some melted some butter or oil on top of each samosas, by using a brush, and bake them at the temerature of 180 degree for about 30 to 35 min untill they become golden, same idea for rolls. No need to fry
Hi Elizabeth, I used Sunflower oil. That chutney is a red onion chutney, spicy, tangy and perfect for any starter. I will be sharing the recipe in the coming weeks.
That's exactly why they're perfect to make during Ramadan....you can't eat them as soon as you're done cooking them so you end up with more to eat at once!!
No I didn't show that on camera. Just plain flour and water till you get a texture which kinda resembles wall paper paste. Not to thin, not to thick and sticky. Hope this helps

fantastic. I must try and find this type of pastry. the filo I get in the shops is too delicate

Is the paste plain Flour and water? Sorry i missed that
Nice have you got the chutney recipe

could you add small cubes of potato half cooked .aswell and what oil for frying did you use
Hi Darren, yes you could and I fried mine in sunflower oil which looks a little darker as it was used in the previous video. 😊
I fully cook the potatoes and add. Love potatoes they make everything nice.
Can I freeze these at any point?

What if we put them in the oven, the taste will be diffrent?
Ditto that. I urgently need about 6 of these...right now! But alas....
Hi Asma, I have never tried them in the oven if I'm honest! Try a few and see how they come out and let me know too.

Hi. How do you make the paste to use as glue for the samosas ? Thanks !
Plain flour and water - keep the consistency in between not too runny and not to thick 😊👍
Could i place the samosas on to a lined tray and bake them in the oven instead of frying them? If yes, how long for?
Thankyou in advance
I guess, you have forgotten to tell us. How to make pest to stick pastry sheet .
Yes, it's just flour and water 😂
Hi, have you made a bhindi chicken dish? I thought I once saw it on your page but can't find it now:(
